No WIFI..and Generally Below Expectations A guest from North Richland Hills, TX does not recommend this property. Stayed for 5 days in December, 2012 This was our 3rd trip to Angel Fire so we were well aware of the age of the resort in general and were not expecting 4 or 5 star accommodations. Sadly the condo we reserved for this visit ended up coming in way below expectations. The good news is I learned a lot in terms of questions to ask and things to look for in pictures and virtual tours. A few facts:-I verbally confirmed our unit had WIFI and included in our welcome packet was the specific login information for our unit yet none of our 7 different devices (phones, laptops, ipads) were able to connect. The management company felt they had no responsibility as WIFI was not listed on the web page description of the property.-The unit had no deadbolt or safe which left us uncomfortable leaving our belongings -The unit states it sleeps 8 yet after the 3rd person showered we ran out of hot water-Neither of the two shower areas had doors (open air into the bedroom, brrr)-The sheets/blankets/towels all smelled so musty and old that all had to be washed before we could sleep on themAt best this was a 2 star accommodation and the management company chose to argue every FACT versus trying to please the customer. After many exchanges they offered a nominal allowance but it was too little too late. We were disappointed to say the least. My advice: do not reserve units that do not have any prior customer reviews and be sure to ask every question (no matter how obvious you expect the answer to be) in writing. Finally, always write a review so others can benefit from both your positive and negative experiences. Farewell Angel Fire and Kokopelli Property Management! |
