The farm is located close to Sarteano (6 Km), to Chianciano (4 Km), famous for their thermal waters, and to Chiusi (about 10 km, train station), rich in fascinating archaeological sites and near the border line between Umbria and Toscana. This area offers not only healthy vacations and a variety of outdoor activities, but is also an interesting departure point for learning about culture and traditions of this region.
The property is only 4 Km from the Highway A1, making it a centre for major sightseeing. Florence, Perugia and Assisi are all very accessible, Gubbio and Orvieto less than one hour drive away. Rome can be reached both by train from Chiusi, or with two hours drive.
The Valdichiana is an excellent holiday base, opening up both the Siena region and the Umbria region around Lake Trasimeno. This was one of the most important domains of Etruscans; the town of Chiusi was a point of exchange before Rome was founded. Any nook of the countryside can hide a treasure: a little church with an unknown artistic work or an ancient memory of a battle. The nature, makes this zone very various and unique.
