In the upper Tiber Valley on the border between the provinces of Arezzo and Perugia towards the western edge of the plain the large series of fields slope upwards to the wood covered slopes surrounding the old village of Citerna. Citerna has of late become much appreciated for the views from its ancient walls and castle. Overlooking a vast panorama stretching from La Verna in the North to Monte Subasio towards the South, and the

mountains of Gubbio to the East. A few lovely villas have been built on a nearby hill the largest of which has been divided into four elegantly and comfortably furnished apartments each with a large terrace and a loggia or porch. Around the house there is an enclosed

well kept garden with flowers. On the back side of the house there is a 4 x 8 mt. swimming pool and a barbecue.
