The villa is fully staffed so you don’t have to worry about cooking, cleaning or security, but since it’s done by such a discreet team of individuals you’ll hardly notice that they’re there.

Overlooking the serene vista of Balinese rice fields in sleepy Umalas, Bali Bali Two is one of a trio of villas that are self-contained and utterly private. Little pathways winding around tropical bushes connect the three villas that share a dramatic architectural design that is often featured in architectural digests and coffee table books. Interiors are simple, minimal and rustic with basic luxuries that emphasise total relaxation. Bali Bali Two can be rented in conjunction with the other two to provide extended accommodation for large families and groups. Although the villas are only a stone’s throw away from one another, they offer plenty of peace and privacy too.

Stones define Bali Bali Two along with its distinguished roof design. From grey textured walls to polished pebble floors, smooth white stone gardens and rough giant stepping slabs atop lotus ponds, there’s lots of variety to admire. Even in the bathrooms the sinks are made of marble. Bedrooms and bathrooms are angled for maximum privacy so that although showers are placed in front of huge glass windows your decency is never in doubt! With a fully-equipped kitchen ideal for self-caterers, and a wonderful chef for the kitchen-shy (groceries on guest account), you might like to stay in and enjoy this villa’s perfectly restful location, though it’s only five kilometres from Seminyak and a ten-minute drive to the beach.
