The villa provides stacks of character; high, angular shingle roofs sharply rise above textured walls of Balinese island stone and fall to merge with the lush landscaping of the garden all the while playing with the light to create spectacularly shaped rooms highlighted by varying tones of ambiance dependent upon the time of day.

The gorgeous garden that wraps around Villa Bali Bali One is another defining feature of the property as it has been landscaped to soften the unique angular build of the house. A generous half-moon swimming pool languishes just a short distance from the villa under the shade of a towering royal palm and overlooked by delicately scented frangipani trees. Its stepped wall mirrors the terraces of the surrounding rice fields. Spacious and relaxing, the garden is highlighted by an extensive grassy lawn fringed with borders of tropical hibiscus, bougainvillea and bird of paradise whose vivid blossoms, adored by brightly coloured birds, bring the garden magically to life. From sun loungers atop the relaxing pool deck you can gaze out over the rice fields to the front or look back towards the villa and marvel at its eye-catching design.

The interiors of the villa are sustainably earthy toned and highlighted by tribal artefacts sourced from all over the Indonesian archipelago. Different textures, shapes, sizes and colours of stone on the walls and floor are complemented by warm wooden tones that cosily characterise bedrooms and living areas. The minimal interiors are rustic and sensible; different floor levels merge with sloping roofs to create a handful of individual spots for relaxing, from the cosy open lounge to an upper mezzanine TV Room. Having three bedrooms, this villa is ideal for a family and is fully-staffed with a manager, maids and a cook who shops for you at market prices.
