What a magical setting for the tropical paradise of your dreams! Bordering more than 100m of Lombok’s blissful Sira Beach, and looking out across warm seas to the coral-fringed Gili Islands, with the majestic Mt Rinjani towering over the rainforest-clad landscape behind, Villa Sepoi Sepoi is exactly what one would imagine a tropical beachfront villa to be – coconuts, hourglass sand, turquoise waters, casual comfort, and extravagant lawns dotted with palms. Pure bliss!

Completed in January 2009, the villa is the dream of a family who wanted their own casual tropical home and are passionate about Lombok – the end result is a stunning six-bedroom villa ideally suited to families and, fortunately for us, available for all to enjoy. Built in traditional Lombok style yet with state-of-the-art facilities the buildings are constructed from locally quarried stone and roofed in thatch to create a purely tropical, yet very ethnic feel. The 20m pool, with its cabana-style bar, takes pride of place flanked by mature coconut palms in extensive lawns. Shady bales (gazebos) entice quiet moments to enjoy the cool gentle sea breeze, after which Villa Sepoi Sepoi takes its name.

Paradise comes fully equipped - super comfortable sofas, a video projector and screen for mega movie nights (almost) under the stars, a massive modern kitchen and much, much more. For the kids there are bicycles, board games, a Nintendo Wii and even a Zodiac speedboat available for waterskiing (costs extra and pre-arrangement necessary) should the beach and pool lose their appeal (unlikely!). If that’s not enough try a day trip to the laid-back Gili Islands or a round of golf at the adjacent course.

No self-respecting tropical paradise is without service and here Sepoi Sepoi also excels. The staff are attentive and friendly, love kids, and can mix a mean G&T or rustle up a tasty snack or two on demand. Even the shopping will be done for you, making this most definitely a place to kick back, relax and forget that the world outside even exists. Heavenly!
