My Elk Springs Vacation A guest from Cordova, TN does not recommend this property. Stayed for 5 days in July, 2012 It was terrible .When we arrived our AC was not working properly. There was a twenty four hour number to report such issues , and a prompt reply would be given in emergencies such as AC, heat ect. We never received that call , and as a result we spent our first night without air. My husband called around 9:00 am the following morning to report the issue and was told the tech . would be there shortly. After another call to inquire about the issue the person shows up another two hours later.Half of our second day of "Vacation" is gone . The customer service persons calls to see if the person fixed our problem , but we could not tell her because the guy just left and did not let us know anything. The customer service was very poor . The person that we originaly dealt with was not available during our entire stay .So we had to deal with another person that finally moved us to another room but was not very good at communicating. She hung the phone up in my face and lied on my husband we called to report that the room we were moved to was not clean. On top of all that the house keeping person that came to clean wanted us to point out what needed cleaning instead of just doing a general cleaning . And told me that she had never had a complaint . |

What happened to our dress you found and told us you would mail? A guest from Ladue, MO does not recommend this property. Stayed for 5 days in June, 2012 The facilities were great. We even extended our stay. Soon after leaving we realized that we had left a newly purchased dress (with tags) in the bedroom closet. We emailed and received a reply that housekeeping had found the dress and it would be mailed to us. The staff person who emailed this to us is Heather Perkins. It has been a month and we never received the dress. We have emailed and called, and no one bothered to reply. Very disappointing. |

Horrible Holiday!!! A guest from Monroe, GA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in November, 2011 The condo was booked a month in advance. However, we were told that it was at Elks Springs resorts. Two days before arrival we find that it was not located on the Resort. Upon arrival we found bugs everywhere.We rented two condos and both were infested with some kind of bug. Hundreds of them. Half the lights in the condo #2 didn't work, and the smell of smoke was really strong. When called about the condition of the condos we were told that someone would be over to take care of them. That took about 2 hrs. That night when we pulled the covers back on the master bed, there was a HUGE URINE stain that covered the middle of the bed underneath the pillows. Again management was called. The property GM acted as if it was not a big deal. Needless to say, I will NEVER again book with this resort. The GM was not concerned about customer satisfaction. I spent half my Thanksgiving vacation trying to get rid of bugs. Do your reseach before booking with this resort. There are other condos that are better and have a friendlier staff. Thanks Elks Springs for a HORRIBLE getaway. Property Manager Response: Response from Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals Teresa, we resolved your ACTUAL issues within 1 hour which consisted of 2 small dead bugs by the balcony and 2 lightbulbs. These things happen sometimes and when they do we address them immediately. The majority of what you wrote simply did not occur. We believe we are very fair and as such several of your complaints are simply fabricated in order for you to get some sort of refund and were noted because you did not get a refund. That simply isn't fair. We agree that we are not a great fit for you. While we spend all the time it takes to make guests happy, your fabricated problems reached a point where it prohibited us from serving our other guests, again which is totally unfair. We have many positive reviews on these condos and stand behind our excellent service. Best Regards. |

A little far from the National Park - a LOT of traffic to navigate to get to the Park. If you're interested more in the Park, location not ideal. If you're interested in the 'touristy' stuff on the strip, location is perfect. |
