Beautiful Home but too ho
A guest from Eagle, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2016 Beautiful home with nice amenities and location, but it needs A/C or fan in the bedrooms. It was too HOT to sleep except in the downstairs master. There was no wifi. Would recommend this home but not in the summer until that situation is rectified. Also did hear from property manager before the visit except when the reservation was made six months ago. Needed a "Welcome" notice days before the stay. They did bring one fan over which was a help .
Barbara R. from Moscow, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in December, 2015 We had 10 people in the home and we fit comfortably. We enjoyed the fireplace (but aren't fans of the animal heads looking at us), the open areas and general decor of the home. The kitchen pots and pans are in need of replacement because of the very scratched non-stick coating. All in all, we enjoyed our stay!
Property Manager Response: Response from Accommodation Services, LLC We will look into replacing the pans.
Reviewed by: Diana R. recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in December, 2015 We spent the Christmas holiday here 2015. There was so much snow and it was magical. We had different groups come and go and it provided space for most everyone. The kitchen/living area was very accommodating the only unfortunate surprise was the bunkbed room is actually attached to the room with the 2 beds (king/queen). With mostly couples and older teens, it made it interesting for sleeping arrangements. The beds were not super comfortable and the sound carries through-out: so early-risers in the kitchen and late-nighters in the loft needed to work on keeping the sound down. We had a great time and the location is great for participating in all of McCall's activities.
A guest from Meridian, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2015 We had a family reunion type weekend at this place. It had plenty of room for our four couples and a handful of kids. Location couldn't have been better. Close to the clubhouse for a swim and golfing. We We took a bike path to the lake/boat ramp and back. The kids loved the firepit at night for s'mores and scary story telling. Had room the park the boat and our four cars. We will be back!!!
A guest from Eagle, ID does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2015 Disappointed in the condition of the home when we arrived, however the management staff was very responsive and tried to make it right. The grounds need a lot of attention (weeds), however a lot of wildlifewhich was fun.
Property Manager Response: Response from Accommodation Services, LLC We will take care of any weeds.
A guest from Pocatello, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2015 We have married children who live in Washington, Idaho and Utah so McCall is a great meeting place for us to have a family reunion. The house was great, plenty of room, we loved to location, it was clean and worked great for our needs. Having a garage to put all out bikes and other toys in was very nice. Would recommend this home!
A guest from Twin Falls, Idaho recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2015 Upstairs mattresses worn down-2 DVD players were not working-otherwise a fantastic get together for our large family
McCall Winter Carnival with family-1/30/15-2/1/2015
A guest from Emmett, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in January, 2015 This home was perfect for our Emmett, ID family and two from Lodi, CAWe had snow, but with the mud-room to leave boots, we were able to keep the floors dry for all of us. The kitchen was well equipped for a large group, and the bedrooms plentiful. The space in the loft had games, TV and an extra sleeping space with fold-out sofa bed. The interior is beautifully decorated, with comfortable sofa/recliners and gas fireplace. The rental staff were excellent and accommodating in seeing that our needs were met. The rules were clear, appropriate, and easy to comply with. The Carnival and snow sculptures were excellent. Having a place to fix our meals sure beat the 1-2 hour waits for local restaurants during the carnival time. The home is in a neighborhood, with other lovely homes all around. The back porch provided a lovely wooded view. No on-the-street parking was a challenge, but we managed to jockey our vehicles to get people in and out. The garage is available for parking and gave passage directly into the mud room. There are some recreational toys available for use during a warm weather stay. We whole heartedly give this a 5-star recommendation.
Carl H. from Frenchtown, MT recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in December, 2014 The house was comfortable and well furnished. The garage was really nice to have with the snow and cold weather. It would have been nice to have a TV down on the main floor as that is where most of the activity went on during our stay. Labels on the remotes stating which one was for which VCR's would have been nice as we had problems getting the VCR's to work for the kids. We would definitely rent this place again.
Pennie F. from Nampa, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2014 We had a girls weekend. The house was fantastic, enough beds for everyone. The place was perfect in everyday, Only one small thing I would change, or at least let the renters know about so that they can bring the items. The kitchen had not towels or dishcloths. We got by but it would of been nice to have some. Not a very big thing considering the rest of the place was perfect.
Michael C. from Kimberly, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2014 It was an opportunity for the family to get together and spend some quality time enjoying each other's company. The cabin was clean and comfortable. All the beds were clean and comfortable. The family enjoyed the bike trails and the beach at the lake. Overall it was an enjoyable experience for everyone.
A guest from Boise, ID does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2014 I have two issues with this stay. The house itself is okay but has a strange floor plan and is under equipped with reading lights. One of two reading lights in the vast living area was broken. The location of the home is great in Spring Mountain Ranch and we enjoyed use of some of the bicycles in the garage. My main issue is with Accommodation Services. We arrived to find the cleaning service still working on the home. It seems the group before us had quite a party there and made quite a mess. There were dishes in the dishwasher, towels in the dryer, and every last roll of toilet paper was gone. The cleaning staff was carrying out food left by the previous group. The most offensive thing we found upon arrival was the distinct smell of marijuana coming from the hall closet. The previous group had apparently vacuumed up marijuana and it reeked. Having rented other properties, I immediately knew this was not Accommodation Services' usual standard and contacted them upon arrival (a Sunday), the following morning by phone and in person. Their staff told me that they needed to verify with the cleaning staff and they would get back to me. They never responded to my concerns but were insistent that we vacate on time on our check out day despite having one member of our party become ill and our request for one extra hour. We continued to find food left behind in cabinets and rotting food under couches throughout our stay. Clearly, someone abused this property before our arrival, but we paid for it to be prepared and clean for our stay. As our guests were visiting Idaho for the first time with young children, this was extremely frustrating. Due to the lack of appropriate response and customer service from Accommodation Services, we will not rent from them again.
Property Manager Response: Response from Accommodation Services, LLC Unfortunately due to the excess cleaning needed the home was not ready at 3:00. Our policy is that we continue to clean even if it is after check in time. The housekeeper would have continued to clean but felt pressured by your moving in. You have stayed with us several times and know that this was an unusual circumstance. Your wanting to check out late would have created the same situation that you arrived too. I am sorry that you will not book with us again due to the home not being ready. As for illegal use of drugs there?
Mari R. from Nampa, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in January, 2014 Comfortable, clean, roomy and close to town. Beds were comfortable, fireplace was nice and kitchen well stocked. Would have preferred the tv in the living area near the kitchen just so we could cook and watch the game but not a deal breaker.
Valerie G. from Boise, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in December, 2013 We really enjoyed the location and the accomodations-big for our growing family. Wish we would've had the fire place workingthe whole time-it really made a difference, but you did get it fixed and we appreciated it.
Vicki W. from Boise, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2013 The property managmt com folks were pretty bland. Didn't seem very friendly. We had to fix the handle of the door leading into the garage because we were unable to turn the handle. The blinds should be dusted too. Otherwise we had a great time. The house was awesome and the family really enjoyed everything about McCall.
Amber H. from Twin Falls, Idaho recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in January, 2012 We really liked the house the downstairs sitting area was very comfy, the upstairs area was comfy as well, the only thing we did not like about this house was the king size bed, you can't sleep on it because the mattress is so stiff and uncomfortable, that was a bummer, the only other thing were the light bulbs really hurt the eyes, they put in those energy saving bulbs that are to bright for sitting areas. Besides those to things the house was really a great vocation getaway place to stay. Having access to the ranch house with the hot tub was a bonus. Just wish more of these places would offer wireless Internet at the house
tom g. from lewiston, idaho recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in January, 2012 We had a great weekend here. The only thing that was wierd is the tv upstairs where not many people can gather to sit and the tvs in the bedrooms didnt have cable hooked up. Everything else was great.
A guest from Burley, ID recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in December, 2011 Spent a few days in the house between Christmas and New Years, 2011. House had a large open area on main floor which is great for group gatherings, game playing, visiting, etc. Upstairs is configured a little oddly - after climbing one flight of stairs you come to a landing, and then you go up another flight of stairs to one set of bedrooms or a different flight to a second set of bedrooms and full bath. TV is located in common area (loft) of second floor, again a little odd. Only 1 bathroom on second floor for four bedrooms - would have been nice to have one more. We had 8 people and used all five bedrooms, although there is room for several more if you use all beds. Only one bedroom on main floor, so beware if you have folks that have access issues. House could use more floor and table lighting. Overall, everyone was happy with the house and its condition- we cooked 4 meals in the kitchen and since it opens into the common area, everyone was able to visit while prepping meals. Kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, plates, utensils, skillets, etc. It is about a 5 minute drive to downtown McCall. Quiet and secluded neighborhood.
