Long term renter for last 13 years. Reviewed by: By W. recommends this property. Stayed for 69 days in January, 2013 All went quite well. Since these units have no ovens, we were disappointed with the replacement toaster oven, as it is very tiny and quite insufficient compared to the one which gave out during our stay. We will return next year, but hope a better toaster oven can be provided by that time. |

Villa Langosta #9 A guest from Lakewood, Ohio recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in December, 2012 Although the unit was clean and we enjoyed our stay there, we felt it needed some updating. The shower head in the MBR Bath is to high to use. When on, the water goes over the wall and into the bathroom area. We were forced to use as a hand held shower. Also the bath towels need to be replaced. The blender was old and dried out which fell apart when used.The small windows in MBR could use something to keep light out in morning.Patio could use a table and more chairs to enjoy outdoors.If would be great if there were an option to have bottle water delivered to unit. |

great family location Jim K. from Boulder, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in November, 2011 Easy five minute walk to a great swimming beach at Langosta. Very uncrowded and undeveloped compared to Tamarindo. The beach right next to the condo is pretty, but not for swimming. Easy drive or bus into Tamarindo for shopping or surfing or hanging out with lots of other tourists. The condos are very comfortable and well equipped. Ours had a boogie board, which was great! The pool is nice for a rinse after being in the ocean. |

Playa Langosta is too out of the way Louise K. from v, b does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in November, 2010 While the condos at Villa Langosta were well maintained with lovely grounds, they are just too far away from Tamarindo.( If you stay here you need a car.) The beach is poor for swimming and even the surfing is too difficult unless you are an expert. As well there are sand flies or some sort of bug that come out at sundown and bite like crazy. I had over 50 extremely itchy bites on my legs that did not go away for a least a week. (Take strong insect repellent and Benedril ointment!) As well there is only a very little store for supplies and no restaurants - and no barbeque at the unit! The restaurants in Tamarindo are fabulous but you have to walk about 25 minutes on a dirt road with no sidewalks and very little lighting to get there. - Stay in Tamarindo - the Hotel Diria is wonderful! |

Stayed for 9 days in June, 2009 Unit is aging and needs renovation. Air conditioning in one bedroom didn't work and then leaked. Not enough consumables were provided, the jacuzzi didn't work, and the unit didn't smell good.
