River Bend Lodge #1 is a truly breakthtaking and amazing river home. A Premier "Waterfront" Paradise on a major trout creek in Blue Ridge, GA. You can view over half a mile of the river from any of the 4 levels. Swim Morning, Noon and Night!!!!!
River Bend Lodge #1 "The Warehouse" is just one of a series of Homes we represent on Fightingtown Creek nestled among water and trees, a major trout stream it is beautifully decorated and full of Life!!!
There are glass picture windows from every level to enjoy the picturesque bending view of the River, with 4 stories of feeling like you're sitting among the treetops in the forest. River Bend Lodge #1 is tucked away, yet so close to town and everything Blue Ridge, GA or Copperhill, TN has to offer. SWIM!!!! FISH!!! RAFT!!! OR JUST RELAX!!!!
Winding down the driveway of River Bend Lodge #1 you will feel an overwhelming peace when you reach the destination. You will all have a truly magical experience from this mountain home with extreme character with over 1000 feet of private river frontage.
The glass walls surrounding River Bend #1 makes you feel as if you are one with nature. This home is so quaintly tucked away, NATURE is all you will see on your vacation!!!
Upon entering the home, you will enjoy a spectacular main level with just living space. A large, open dining room, kitchen and living area surrounded by glass. There is a sectional couch in the living area with a gas log fireplace and a flat screen TV with Satellite to enjoy.
A gorgeous kitchen with quality cabinets and granite countertops and it is equipped with top of the line appliances. A bar top for quick dining to seat 3 and a 4-person dining table. There is a half bath on the main level. There is also a Gas Grill and picnic table on the deck for outside dining which overlooks the river.
On the 2nd level, you'll find an unbelievable Master Suite with a King bed overlooking the private deck and river, a sitting area in the bedroom with a sofa and flat screen TV plus an exercise bicycle. The master bathroom is a heaven in itself with a Jacuzzi tub sitting among the glass looking out at nature, a stand up tiled shower and Double Vanity. If this wasn't enough the walk in closet is almost a bedroom in itself.
On the third level, you will find the other 3 bedrooms. The first bedroom is a Queen Master suite with a private bathroom. The 3rd and 4th bedrooms both have queen beds and private access to the decks overlooking the river. There is a his and her bathroom with private entrances adjoining the shower area.
Walk down to the 4th level to sit away the hours in the private 6 person hot tub overlooking the river. Or build a little fire and enjoy wildlife while camped around the fire pit. Want some real fun? Pick up a few inner tubes and float the river for a true mountain experience!
This rental is Pet-Friendly with a 2 pet limit. If you will bring your pet there will be a $20 fee per Pet per Night added to the rental.

Beautiful Property! Practical? No. A guest from Woodstock, GA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in May, 2012 First, it's very important that you know I am hyper critical of rental properties, especially when the cost is higher. The location of the property was absolutely phenomenal; on a beautiful creek/river and very private and quiet. First impressions of the management company were a little surprising with leaving the key and rental information in a mailbox open for anyone to have access to. In other rental properties I would be given a combination upon reservation confirmation. Light bulbs in the property were burnt out, there were stains on the couch, and soap containers were nearly empty not to mention the total lack of toilet paper. These are minor things but big to me, and certainly a reflection on the management company. Now, let's get into the hazards of the property... I love industrial design, but the stairs (both on the interior and exterior are dangerous) not to mention the random I-beam down by the hot tub begging for someone to cut themselves open walking by it. The stairs down, from the hot tub to the fire pit look like an after thought both in functionality and safety. The hot tub takes a serious commitment (meaning, all of the stairs you have to climb down and then the creepy feeling once you're down there). There were wasp nests on the upper deck which could have been easily avoidable by the property manager reviewing and spraying. On the major plus side... the AC on every level worked FLAWLESSLY and loved the open floor design of the kitchen/living room. |

Stayed for 4 days in December, 2011 The home was high tech...Debbie, Holly, and Buddy were the greatest...I have always stayed at Above the Rest in blue Ridge but will definetly be a repeat offender at Kaylor...I have 65 employees and solitude and privacy is the only reason we drive 11 hours... so the only negative in my stay was the fact that other homes were too close.. When I booked the vacation the description of the property was that it was very private but two homes overlooked our property and we were visible the whole is all good and Buddy was great fixing my fireplace and telling me about all the properties..Happy New Year |

On the 1st or lowest level there is a mold problem. The walls and ceiling in the central bathroom (Jack & Jill) have mold and the wood floors are cupped which is a sign of moisture. Some type of dehumidification may be a solution. During a heavy rain there is a roof leak on the top floor which I already reported. |

Great design/architecture of house, kitchen, balconies and views were incredible. We did note a few items:1. Directions to property had incorrect street name. Indicated Mobile Street, when the actual street name was Tennessee St.2. Sectional sofa very nice, but made for very limited comfort seating for all guests to be together. Need bigger sectional, or additional chair(s).3. Hallway bathroom shower area on bottom floor was in very bad shape - mold on ceiling and inadequate lighting.4. Great room fireplace inoperable.5. TV in queen guest room did not work.Otherwise, a great property, location and Kaylor staff made for a great weekend.Thanks very much. |
