nshan m. from fresno, california recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in December, 2016 This is our second time spending the weekend in Pinecone Cabins with my family and it's always nice a cozy. I will keep coming back in the future. Feels like home away from home.
Lauren T. from San Diego, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 1 days in December, 2016 Cabin was nice overall perfect size for a couple. Most of the dishes were dirty. On the website it says to get in contact if you're planning a romantic weekend or special occasion. I emailed and called and never got an email back. When I called she seemed to care less about anything in general.
A guest from Fresno, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in October, 2016 Never got a follow-up email or phone call (except the one listed below), as promised in the initial verification email. Between the booking agent and the renter, too many phone numbers--and NONE of them have an outgoing message. Never knew who I was calling. Finally got a rushed call near 5pm on check-in day, even though I spoke to somebody earlier that morning--the only time anyone bothered to pick up the phone. The office was closed all weekend with no notice. Couldn't hit up the gift shop, couldn't get problems addressed, nothing. Almost broke my leg in the dark. Not a single light anywhere in the parking area, by the cabins, or by the firepit--or anywhere else along the pathways.Cabin was dirty. Found a 6" dust bunny, among others. Bathtub faucet leaks loudly. BBQ was not cleaned and there was a pile of ash on the ground and in the grill itself. Still had the remnants from the last guest, and no grill brush or other amenities provided. The lid was broken on our little 18" Weber, so I wound up switching it with the next cabin. Sorry, but nobody was on the property to help. The front deck had not been pressure washed or sprayed recently, and I ruined a pair of shorts by sitting in one of the chairs. Couldn't get the stickiness off of our hands or clothes for the entire weekend.Overall, a big disappointment. Shave Village is so close, and does this so much better. We will only come here when everything else is booked.
Lori S. from Madera, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in July, 2016 This is the 2nd time we had stayed here and this time everything was perfect. The first time we stayed last year they had just installed new tank less water heatersports and ours wasn't working. They were on it right away to get it fixed. So the second night it was better but was still having some issues. But it was still a very nice cabin. Clean, cute and had everything we needed. Like I said this year we had zero issues with anything. The only thing that was a little frustrating was only one device could be connected to the WiFi.
Christopher S. from Santa Rosa, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in May, 2016 Such a cute place. We stayed in the wildflower and pinecone. Both were awesome. Full kitchens heaters and cable. Short drive from shaver lake. Management was very accomodating.
A guest from Bend, OR recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in March, 2016 We volunteered with the Forest Service in Prather and drove up and down the hill each day for 5 days - no problem. We did not use the stove or oven, did use the microwave. Bend was soft but sheets crisp and clean. Small gas stove kept us warm when it snowed.
A guest from Fresno, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in March, 2016 We had such a great time. We BBQ, sat by the fire pit enjoying friends and family. Loved being able to walk to town. location to the lake was perfect. Staff was amazing.
Curtis R. from Hollister, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in January, 2016 We took a family vacation to the snow and decided to stay at knotty pines so we could bring our dog. The cabin was located close to town so we could walk to the store. Over all it was very clean and cozy! Nice bathroom, great fireplace, we were very satisfied! We will definitely come up again and stay at knotty pines! The staff was also very helpful!
A guest from Santa Maria, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in January, 2016 We stayed in cabin #1. The location is great. We could walk to get anything we may need. The cabin was clean and the kitchen met all of our needs. The only thing lacking was a comfortable bed. If the bed is replaced it would make for a perfect cabin.
nshan m. from fresno, california recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in January, 2016 This cabin was so nice and cozy I didn't want to live when my time was up. I will always come back to stay here again. Best experience I had in shaver lake so far. You have everything you need in this cabin and the guy in the office was really nice and helpful when I checked in.
Brad L. from Bakersfield, California recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in January, 2016 Our stay was great as usual. One thing that should be addressed Is the mattress and bed in the cabin. The mattress is worn and very uncomfortable, and the bed is so loud when you get up and out that it is difficult for a good nights sleep.
Knotty Pine Cabins worked out great for the employees
A guest from Shaver Lake, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in December, 2015 The Employees I had up here working enjoyed there stay at Knotty Pine cabins. It worked out well being so close to the facilities here in town and to our office.
Randy H. from Atascadero, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in November, 2015 We only stayed overnight, but we loved it. Beautiful studio cabin stocked with everything you need. You can walk to the bars and restaurants of the gorgeous lil town of Shaver Lake. We will be back soon for a longer stay.
A guest from Templeton, Ca. recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in August, 2015 We stayed in the "Pinecone" cabin. We loved it! This is a very nice cabin with everything we needed, including the pine forest setting. Having the BBQ and charcoal provided is a nice touch. We cooked our steaks while relaxing on the front porch with our dog. This is a great location from which to explore the surrounding area. The only thing we were not too happy with was the bed. It sagged in the middle. Both my husband and myself need firm support, so we did not sleep well. Other than that our stay was wonderful.
A guest from FRESNO, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in August, 2015 We booked last minute with Knotty Pine Cabins and had a fabulous experience. The office staff was very helpful. The "Pinecone" was perfect for two people and our dog. Great location within walking distance to restaurants. Very clean and comfortable. We will definitely go back!
A guest from Tracy, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in August, 2015 Cabin was clean and everything in the cabin worked. Walking distance to multiple places for food. Staff was friendly and helpful for my late check-in. I would recommend and return.
A guest from Cave creek, Arizona recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2015 Overall stay was good. Cabin clean and comfortable, but very close to busy road. Despite no smoking rule, folks from the gift shop sat on a bench near cabin window and smoked on breaks, smoke came in cabin windows. might want to move the smoking bench for the store. went in store a couple of times and was pretty much ignored by the staff while they searched for merchandise, maybe completing inventory. Not very welcoming. might consider staying again n a larger cabin further in the back, village was nice and friendly

It shows u a propane bbq grill, nope not at all it didn't even have a grill inside...omg!! I was not prepared for that, all the food i took was to be cooked on a grill. but i did the best out of it. Will i go back Noooooo!!! Ther r plenty of other great Cabins..?
Anthony B. from Newman, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in July, 2015 This is a very nice, clean, comfortable cabin. Weather was nice in the high 70s. The wife and I had a great relaxing time. The staff is very kind and helpful. I plan to come back on are next vacation.
Reviewed by: Janet P. recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in July, 2015 I was completely satisfied with this lovely cabin. It had mountain charm with all the amenities. The lovely girl in the office and her very efficient, young son were most helpful. Not only would I come back, I would highly recommend this to palce to friends and relatives.
Reviewed by: A guest recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in July, 2015 The cabin( the pinecone ) was cozy and comfortable except for the bed. The mattress is wore out and needs to be replaced. The staff was pleasant. A gift shop full of neat items. Good location, walking to town is easy.
Reviewed by: A guest recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2015 This was our first time staying at a Cabin in Shaver Lake, we always camped ad Camp Edison. The location is very close to the lake and the cabin we rented was clean, nice and cozy. This will be our new destination from now on. While everything was nice and clean, I would like to make a couple of comments: I wish the two doors had screen doors so we could open the doors and not worry about our little dog getting out of the cabin. Also, when I saw the pictures on the web when I was booking a cabin, the pictures don't do justice to the cabins, they are much more beautiful and inviting. Hopefully someone can change the website for a more clear picture or slide of the cabins. The customer service we received was very good. From now on this will be our destination for lodging.
Jon H. from Rancho Santa Margarita, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in July, 2015 We have stayed here many times and will return. The cabin is always clean and smells nice. The tub and sink were not draining properly when we arrived, the tub was fixed promptly but the sink was continued to drain very slow.
Ricky C. from Sanger, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in July, 2015 THE VACATION RENTAL WAS VERY GOOD; HOWEVER, THE MATRESS HAD A FOAM COVER THAT MADE THE BED VERY SOFT. DOES THAT MEAN THE MATRESS IS OLD AND NEEDS TO BE CHANGED?
A guest from Omaha, Nebraska recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in May, 2015 Only stayed for a short time but the cabin was clean and very well maintained. The whole property was great. Will definitely be back!
Reviewed by: Eric K. recommends this property. Susan W. from Newark, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in April, 2015 We stayed in Cabin #1-The Pinecone. It faces out to the street. There isn't a lot of traffic so it wasn't bothersome at all. It was actually nice to watch what's going on in town from our front porch. It's located perfectly in the middle of town so everything you need (restaurants, convenience stores, bars) is in walking distance. The cabin is supplied with pots & pans & dishes so we made our meals "at home". One day we drove up Dinkey Creek Rd to McKinley Grove to see the Giant Redwoods. Breath Taking. I would absolutely recommend staying here. They were under construction while we were here, They are adding on to the front office. We were pleasantly surprised upon checking out, that she gave us a discount because of the construction. We didn't even mind the construction. That was very nice of her to do that. We are planning another trip up hopefully this summer and plan to rent one of the bigger cabins. I will most definitely be staying here again.
Marci C. from Riverdale, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in April, 2015 We stayed at the Knotty Pine Cabins (Pinecone) for an anniversary getaway. The cabin location was right downtown within walking distance of all restaurants & shopping. The cabin was cozy and the propane fireplace added to the ambience. The only problem we saw was that the bed was not very comfortable, it felt like the mattress needed to be turned. The cabin was clean, but when I dropped something that rolled under the bed, the floor looked like it hadn't been swept or vacuumed in months. Overall, we were pleased with our stay. Will definitely book again and would recommend this property....great location, price and perfect for any getaway!
Reviewed by: A guest recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in March, 2015 Charming, clean, location is great, you can walk to everything.front desk is helpful. Mattress was a little soft, you kinda roll into the center. But over all it's great !!
Tyler H. from Reedley, California recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in March, 2015 Great time! First off, it was super easy to find. The reception and receptionist was perfect. Very easy to check in. We really liked the themes for each cabin. Small and cute. had enough space to fit all of our things yet cozy enough to feel nice and warm. Very close to everything, walking distance to grab a bite and drink. Very close to the lake as well. Would definitely come back but this time with a larger cabin and of course, more friends!
Ian C. from Concord, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in February, 2015 My husband and I were heading home to Concord, Ca after a six day RV trip to the Grand Canyon with our dog. After six days in an RV with a big pooch it was so nice to spend a day and night at the relaxing Knotty Pine cabins. We stayed in the "Pine Cone" and it was cozy yet spacious enough for our 70lb dog. It is hard to find cabin rentals that aren't discerning about pet size. Our dog is the sweetest, most well behaved dog but often all rental places see is her size. Everyone here is friendly and so was everyone we met in town. We walked our dog a few minutes down the road to the bakery and had a delicious breakfast back at the cabin before we left for home. We are looking forward to staying here again.
Michael F. from Fresno, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in February, 2015 the best that I had in 15 years going to this area me and my wife will go back every year from hear on thank you so much for a we loved r stay..................
Yolanda G. from Fresno, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in January, 2015 Stayed two nights, to play in the snow. We did find snow. The cabin was cute and cozy. Gas fireplace was great. Clean and had what we needed to make meals. Right in town so we could walk to restaurants. We will stay again
A guest from Visalia, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in January, 2015 Great place. The cabin has everything you can possibly need. Leave the worries at home and enjoy the beauty of Shaver Lake. Perfect location next to markets, restaurants and shops all with in walking distance.
A guest from Fresno, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in December, 2014 Loved tha cabin! Loved the location. It was so close to everything. We never had to get in the car, which was really convenient. My only complaint, was the bathroom was freezing! Like soooo cold. We brought blankets in with us when we had to use it, and getting out of the shower was horrible because it was so cold. Other then that everything was perfect!
A guest from Fountain Valley, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in September, 2014 nice clean QUIET place where I stayed for far too short a time. Folks were very cooperative arranging my late arrival and early departure, room was excellent
A guest from Fresno, Ca. recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2014 We love staying at The Pinecone cabin, it is cozy and quite comfortable for the two of us. We like sitting out on the deck, looking at the views. Is walking distance to restaurants and stores. Description of the property was accurate, staff was very friendly. Would recommend cabin to friends and family. We ate the Falls Restaurant and at the Bakery, food was delicious at both places and enjoy the fine food at Watakai Restaurant. Went fishing, ate good food, and relaxed.
rowland b. from rochester, NY recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2014 Rental process went smoothly, even though we arrived after hours. Cabin was clean and the kitchenette was well equipped. The Pinecone cabin faces the highway so you can expect a fair amount of road noise. Beware of the pine sap dripping onto the deck chairs. Your pants can get sticky. The manager did come by to clean it off after I mentioned it. Overall, a nice place to stay.
Norm B. from Signal Hill, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2014 I WAS SO SURPRISED BY HOW CHARMING THE PINECONE CABIN IS. WE THOROUGHLY ENJOYED OUR TIME IN IT. THE BED WAS SO VERY COMFORTABLE. THOUGH WE DID NOT US THE KITCHEN IT LOOKED VERY INVITING. THE REASON FOR ONLY GIVING 4 STARS FOR CLEANLINESS WAS THE BLINDS WERE PRETTY DUSTY WHEN I TRIED TO WORK WITH THEM...WE WILL CERTAINLY COME AGAIN AND WOULD RECOMMEND OTHERS TO DO THE SAME!!
A guest from Fresno, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in August, 2014 A clean and comfortable cabin. Walking distance to everything in Shaver Lake community. Helpful and nice staff. It is close to the road and not remote if that is what you are looking for, but if you want amenities nearby this is the place for you.
A guest from Fresno, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in August, 2014 The cabin was ready for early check in and was very nice, clean and comfortable. Friends stayed in a larger cabin which was also very nice.
A guest from huntington beach, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in July, 2014 Nicely maintained property. Manager very accommodating. A little larger than a hotel room, but has kitchen and nice size bathroom. Need to include an iron and hair dryer in bathroom. Nice area at back of property with fire pit. Nice way to meet individuals from other cabins. Next to convenience stores and restaurants. Close to public lake access. Patio chairs require a little work. Rooms clean and nicely appointed.

Sylvia H. from Chino, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2014 I stayed at the pinecone for two nights with my husband and 5 yr old son. We stayed at the pinecone two years ago also, we liked it so much we decided to return again. Since then, they updated the bathroom and turned the tiny shower into a more spacious shower/bathtub, they also updated their tv with a nice flat screen. All in all it was nice and comfortable for my little family for the time we weren't out adventuring in the forest or in the lake. We will be back again next summer :)
A guest from albion, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 1 days in June, 2014 Shaver Lake is not by a lake. Our cabin over looked the two lane road with trucks gunning their motors. We were next door to a restaurant bar that played music late into the night. Luckily the refrigerator made enough noise to block some of the bar music. from our porch we have a nice view of the dumpster and a gas station down the street. the Deck had a spill of some sticky beverage on the table. I would not recommend this place is you were expecting a retreat in the country. If you need an over night by tthe road in route to some where else it might suffice.
Brittney H. from Fresno, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in June, 2014 Very easy payment and checkin, didn't have to wait long, called and was able to check myself in the very next day. I couldn't believe how simple it was. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2013 This had all of the advantages of staying in a cabin, with a fully equipped kitchen, pot belly stove and outdoor seating with a barbecue, without the high cleaning fees associated with private cabin rentals. The cabin was spacious for a studio, with comfy furniture that made you feel at home. Our cabin was the first one in and just above the main road through town so I was worried about noise but sound did not carry through the double pained windows. It was easy to walk to the stores and restaurants. We will definitely come back.

Camp Edison's campsites and day use was 1 mile away. We could buy our lunch and drive to a lakeside picnic area in just a few minutes. If we needed something later, your pass allowed you to leave & come back. John K. from San Luis Obispo, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in October, 2012 The property was wrought with many, many maintenance issues. I have never stayed anywhere with that many issues - including the heater, leaking/non-working sinks, TV problems, windows that don't stay up or are completely broken. I passed on a list to Dawn - who jokingly said she found my name on an OCD list. Also, it took forever to check out. 15 to 20 minutes. I did like the location, the firm bed & I liked the dog friendly atmosphere. I would love to stay there again if these issues are addressed.
Would be 5 Star Overall Without the Road Work Going On!!
Linda W. from Bakersfield, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in October, 2012 This was our last stop on a 2 week road trip and looked forward to a relaxing couple days in our favorite mtn. community. The road work definitely interrupted that plan! Thus the 3 star rating on overall satisfaction. We will return this Spring. The property is run beautifully---very friendly, helpful staff; completely stocked cabins; unexpected amenities in the cabins and the office lounge. If I had any suggestion for the owner it would be to expand the bathroom (Pinecone Cabin #1) into the closet. The commode is too cramped. Definitely not handicap accessible. And who needs a closet when your "camping" :-)Look forward to returning!
Property Manager Response: Response from KNOTTY PINE CABINS Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Welch and OUR APOLOGIES FOR THE ROAD WORK COMPLICATIONS. Your suggestion regarding the bathroom/closet issue is exactly what is in the plan at a future date. Again, thank you and we hope to offer you a less hectic and cramped stay in the Knotty Pine Cabins. Staff

Elissa E. from Santa Clarita, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in June, 2012 We absolutely loved our stay at The Pinecone. The cabin was nice and super clean. They have thought of everything you could possibly need in the cabin and even left little goodie bags for us and a bed, toys, and dog bowls for our puppy that came with us. The cabin has a nice porch that we loved sitting out on at night while we ate dinner or just relaxed, also it has a big flat screen tv if you feel like relaxing before bed and watching some tv....couldn't believe it. The employees are super sweet and have excellent customer service. We arrived and noticed they were renovating some of the cabins so when we went to check in the first thing the front desk woman did was apologize and told us she would give us a discount, we didn't even have to say one word! Plus, the workers were really nice and not loud at all, didn't even notice they were there. The cabin is walking distance from all the local restaurants and markets; however, it isn't walking distance from the lake. The only thing my husband and I both didn't care for was how close the cabin is to the main road, you look out the cabin and you see it. It wasn't a problem during the day but once we wanted to go to bed we had to leave windows open because it would get too warm in the cabin (no air conditioning) and once it got close to the sun coming up all we would hear were trucks and cars right out our window...not too relaxing. Luckily, my husband came prepared and we both had ear plugs that worked out just fine. One other thing is there isn't anywhere to have a fire outside. We were really hoping we could sit out by a fire at night but there isn't any room for that. I talked to one of the employees and she mentioned they are working on building a large fire pit for their guests to sit out by at night. All in all, this place is amazing! I haven't experienced such great customer service and hospitality in a long time AND an awesome cabin that was super clean and cute! I would recommend this place to anyone!

Chris L. from Visalia, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2012 Saying this cabin is close to town just doesn't do it justice! It's literally 100 feet to a cafe, pizza parlor and a bar an grill. Within 100 yards throw in a gas station, 3 more restaurants, a deli and small grocery store. Also there are some neat little shops all within walking distance. Great place for a relaxing lazy getaway. Our favorites are Wahtoke grill and Shaver Lake pizza. The best way to describe the cabin is like a hotel room with a kitchen and a good size porch. Inside was super clean. The bed was a bit on the firm side. A broom would've been a handy feature for the cabin to have as we were tracking in a little bit of dirt but other than that everything's included. Nice full size coffee maker, full size fridge and freezer and a 4burner stove with an oven. We will definately stay here again!
Robert J. from Hanford, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in May, 2012 Nice quiet and relaxing, walking distance to store and resturants. Had all seasons in one weekend. Snow on Friday evening made Saturday morning look like Christmas and rest of the weekend was like warn spring. Went fishing Saturday afternoon and caught a 10 lb trout. I wish there was a dresser for the clothes and maybe a larger shelf in the bathroom. Will be back again.
Linda W. from San Jose, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in April, 2012 On the negative side the couch was falling apart and very uncomfortable. Had to bring in our own chairs. And the water was unfit to drink and bought water to drink. The heat control was broken and could not turn it off. Burnt out light bulbs. Staff very friendly and helpful and would stay there again, would just check out things better when check-in.
A guest from Bakersfield, Ca. recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2011 This was the third time I've stayed at the Knotty Pine, and I'm still loving it. It's a great place to relax and everything you need is within walking distance.

Very nice and cozy for 2 adults. The Pinecone was just right.
Kent D. from Fresno, Ca. recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2011 The kitchen counter tops were limited in space, but with a small cabin, that can be expected. In the summer the fine dust on our shoes, was brought in with in-out traffic. A broom/dust pan would be nice in the closet. The fan, in the close
A guest from Clovis, Ca. recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2011 We wanted a place to spend our anniversary that would be quiet and cozy, and for the most part, this was it. The cabin itself was very nice, though there were a couple of small problems we ran into after we got there. We had prepared for a grilled dinner, but there were no tongs for the grill, so we made do with forks and stuff (we bought a pair of tongs for future guests to use), which worked out fine. Very nice propane grill on the front porch. The shower was a little small, but I didn't run out of hot water, so that was nice. There's no dishwasher in this unit, but they provide you with soap, a rag, and a dish strainer to wash any of the dishes. The chairs on the porch were pretty wobbly, but once you're sitting in them comfortably, they're fine. They supplied us with plenty of one-ply toilet paper (which was surprisingly sturdy stuff. nothing like that shreddy stuff you find in rest stops on the side of the road), but I missed my cushy charmin. Oh, and in case you decide to try the pizza place right down the street, the breadsticks were on par with any other pizza place I've been to, but the pizza was really tasty. The sports bar up the road from there can get a little loud and rowdy sometimes, even late at night, so be prepared. The one thing I was worried about while we were there was the oven. I used it to bake cookies, and we smelled gas for a while and it kept making this sound like rushing water every 3 seconds or so for the first couple minutes it was on. I wanted to check and see if there was a leak, but I didn't want to mess anything up. Also, there's no light that goes off when it's at the right temp, and there's no thermometer in there, so if you're used to that, I'd suggest bringing an oven safe thermometer. The lady in the office was very nice and helpful (I had no idea the cabins were right next door, so when she pointed out the window I had to ask at least 5 times what she was pointing at, but she didn't get annoyed at all :)) Overall, great stay.
Tita M. from Alameda, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in July, 2011 Traveling to Sequoia National Park. Stayed in Pinecone cabin overnight. Very friendly and welcoming property management person. Left us bottle of wine, chocolates and card for our 47th anniversary. Very cozy cabin.
A guest from Hanford, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in July, 2011 The cabin is small but cozy and in the center of town. Walking distance to the small town's limited eating areas and convienence stores. Cabin was clean and toletries supplied. Small, tight bathroom, but not a big deal if your slim. Very close to the main road and thus being very loud in the early morning from the cars goin to the lake and at night from the nearby bars. Appears to be in process of being remodeled and nice brand new gas grill on deck. The noise didn't seem as bad after a long, tiring day at the lake. Enjoyed it overall, but may think of getting a cabin further away from the road next time.
A guest from Fresno, Ca. recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in July, 2011 We had a wonderful time in Shaver. The location is right in town. Not a great view but perfect for people watching. Noisy, but 4th of July is always noisy, it doesn't matter where you stay. Very friendly.
Chad H. from Tehachapi, Ca. recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in May, 2011 my wife and i had a great time!it was fun to get away from the city and live the cabin life for a day or two, cabin had everything we needed to cook breakfast and dinner, right in town so there's no spectacular view but gas, food, tackle are right there,we had forgotten flour to cook but it was no big deal we walked to the general store.... beautiful hikes nearby, lake fun near, horseback riding right there and even snowmobiling in the winter!!! if your looking for the hilton?then google hilton but this cabin was exactly what we wanted for our little romantic getawat in the mountains and thats what we got! Thank You Shaver Lake Cabin Rentals :)

Cameron D. from Los Olivos, Ca. recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in March, 2011 The cabin was clean and spotless when we arrived, it was a little smaller then expected. It was located in a good spot right in town and not to far from the mountain. Its definatly no Ritz Carlton but a great place to stay for the weeknd with some freinds!! ps. may want to upgrade from a VHS to a DVD player.
A guest from Visalia, Ca. recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in February, 2011 The old plumbing proved to be a challenge. The toilet wouldn't drain if water had been run in the sink or shower prior to flushing. Also, shower wouldn't drain if toilet had been flushed. Slow draining!
