Stayed for 13 days in March, 2013 This was our 8th trip to Hawaii. 4th to the Big Island. 4th time at Kona Surf & Racket club. 2nd time in this unit. At least 2 weeks each trip. We have been all over the Big Island. Compared this unit to lots of other options. For the price you can not get anything close to this nice of a unit and location. You are on the water. Unit is very nice. The location is great. Close to good snorkeling. Good entertainment. Good shopping. Lots of activities. This trip I caught a sword fish. Swam with dolphins and Manta Rays. Zip lined. Snorkeled almost every day. Watched whales. Watched lots of hula. Ate too much good food. Went to the volcano. Went to Hilo twice. Hikes to Captain Cook monument. Lots of other stuff from this location.Drank fresh Kona coffee every day, grown near by. Every day you wake up to the sound of waves and birds. The smell of roasting coffee and flowers. I wish I was still there. A month would not be enough. |

The staff is very helpfull of explaining things. When we had a problem with ice maker, they sent someone to fixed it the next day. However we did find the dishwasher is old and dishes weren't clean. There was some kind of white powder all over the place when we first arrived which we don't know if they were salt air related? |

We could not have been more pleased. When we arrived, the unit was clean and looked great. The location is amazing, walk right out on to the beach. During our stay, we had a couple of opportunities to talk with Knutson & Associates, with the always being very responsive and professional. I would highly recommend the unit we rented and Knutson & Associates to my friends and family. |

Big Island Love! Margaret L. from Woodbridge, VA recommends this property. Stayed for 14 days in September, 2011 I was on the Big Island the first two weeks of Sept. 2011 and what a blessing it was! This townhouse sits right on the ocean - heaven! I spent many mornings sitting on the lanai watching the dolphins and/or at the waters edge to watch sea turtles in the cove. If you are in the front bedroom (not on the ocean side), you can still hear the waves at night - I loved that. This home is in a great location, close enough to enjoy Kona, but far enough away (maybe 4 miles?) that you don't have to deal with any noise/crowds of people. All you hear when at this townhouse are the birds and the ocean. A shopping center is within walking distance and a Farmer's Market at the shopping center on Saturday and another at a nearby hotel on Wednesday - we always had organic, delicious veggies and fruit. On the ocean side of the house there is a big tree that drops fruit(or nuts?) that land on the roof and can be a bit surprising, especially at night but we got use to it. There is also a great bay about 1/2 mile down the road with beautiful snorkeling. Make sure the management company gives you the key code to the townhouse AND the front gate. We were only given the keycode to the townhouse not the front gate which was kinda frustrating after 12+ hours of travel. We were able to follow someone in and later asked a resident for the code. The townhouse is roomier than the pictures offer, there were three adults in our party and there was plenty of space. The living furniture is a bit clunky/big for the living room but it really doesn't matter cause you'll be in Hawaii - ENJOY!!! |
