The Sunset Beach house is a relatively new home which has been meticulously designed and crafted. It is a single story dwelling with no steps except to the roof top deck. Each room throughout the home has its own color and theme. Enjoy the comfortable high end (custom made) furniture. The great room has exposed beams and a large well stocked kitchen complete with counter seating. There are warm hardwood floors throughout. The master bedroom suite comes with a walk-in closet and can access the outdoors through a large sliding door, as can the 2nd bedroom. Both bathrooms are luxurious and tastefully decorated. There are three flat screen tv's provided for your viewing enjoyment with an additonal tv in the den.Take in breathtaking panoramic ocean views from almost every room, including beach and lighthouse views from the spa. The spa is located on the expansive roof top whale watching deck and provides stunning views of the Mendocino Coastline and Point Arena Lighthouse.Sit back, relax with a glass of wine, and breathe it all in. Not so pleasant Sunset at the Beach A guest from Alameda, CA. does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in March, 2013 Unable to use hot tub day 1 due to bad lock, balancing act required at stove with hot pans unpleasant, baking oven slow to cook, linens were not washed, floors dirty, dishes greasy. Spent a day cleaning so my family would have clean items to use. Also,beneath the sofa cushions was 1" thick wood planks that made for uncomfortable sitting. It is one of our personal favorites here at Irish Beach. We understand that the spa lock had rusted and had to be removed prior to using the spa and the oven is small at Sunset Beach, but anytime you have a cleanliness issue with one of our homes you should always notify the Office as soon as possible so that we may attempt to remedy the matter. Our Housekeeping Supervisor, Michelle, cleaned Sunset Beach herself prior to your arrival. We are sad to read how many issues you had during your stay. Our sincere apologies. |
