Relaxing summer weekend in Whistler
Carmen R. from Vancouver, British Columbia recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2016 We love this property! 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, 2 decks!!!! Private hot tub, great location (2 minutes to the Village), awesome views, accommodating and friendly staff, fair price... we will definitely go back!
Valerie J. from Nine Mile River, NS recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2016 This was a last minute booking for us. I was disappointed only because the main reason I booked this particular home was for the private hot tub on the deck and it didn't work. Only half the jets worked and the ones that did work were not very strong. Barely a bubble was made when turned on. Having said that, the home was very clean, in great location for us and was just big enough for 4 adults. I rated this a 3 because of the hot tub I said, that was the primary reason I chose this home!
Juliet H. from hillsborough, a recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in March, 2016 Wonderful little apartment with a lot packed into it; two bathrooms; two terraces; 2 bedrooms and everything that comes with a bigger house. Great location a stones throw across the main road to the market and about a 10 minute walk to the lifts. The walk is nothing for adults but if you have young children it can be challenging or just drive closer to the car parks and pay $8 a day to make the day stress free. Lots of restaurants close by. Very comfortable, cosy and away from the noise of the village.
Glenn W. from a, a recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in March, 2016 Stayed at Glaciers Reach unit 64 for a quick 3 day get away with my family and my daughters friend. The condo was well appointed and had everything one would need. Great to have the private hot tub on the deck, fantastic way to relax after a day on the slopes. Bedrooms were comfortable with the girls staying in the bunk beds and my son on the sofa bed. The cushions on the sofa bed had some major springs sticking up, careful where you sit. This would be our only complaint, the cushions have seen better days. One other caution, if you have an SUV or large car the parking spaces are REALLY small. The one assigned to unit 64 fits only a small car, our mini van was to big for the spot. Luckily if there are spots not marked "reserved" you can park in one of those.
Shawn B. from a, a recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in February, 2016 We originally booked through a different property management company in the same complex and our room was terrible and filthy. When we cancelled our remaining stay and were able to get another unit in the same complex through Trevor who operates a different property management company and able to move us in @ 9 am in the morning he saved our vacation and my *** from my wife. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay very much, we will return and recommend Trevor to our friends.
A guest from Charlotte, NC recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in December, 2015 Glacier's Reach was Awesome! Perfect location across from Village market. Grabbed groceries and cooked in 3 nights, ate by the cozy fire. Kitchen well stocked with essentials. Whistler, Blackcombe, shopping and restaurants 5-10 min walk away. Private hot tub on your covered balcony. Perfect for your ski legs after a day on the slopes. Very comfortable, clean; best value in Whistler! Owner very professional and responsive. Cell phone call away for anything you might need.
Reviewed by: Jenean C. recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in December, 2015 We had w great stay here at the glacier Reach !!! We will be back 100%!!!! Everything was so close to where we were the hot tub was amazing for relaxing soft mattresses and good parking ! Thank you glacier reach !
Simon M. from Meopham, a recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2015 We have just returned from a 4 night stay in this Town House. Everything you could need is provided and the house is clean and well presented. Whistler is a beautiful resort to stay in with more than can be done in just a few days. We will be back.
A guest from Coquitlam, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in July, 2015 This location was perfect for our family - minutes walking to the famous whistler Olympic plaza (and awesome playground in the village) but just far enough to not hear all the hustle and bustle of the village stroll late at night. We love Glaciers Reach and will not rent anywhere else!
A guest from Calgary, AB recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in July, 2015 The accommodation was exactly as described, excellent condition, great location. I would stay there again and recommend to friends and family.
Pennie A. from Westcliff on the sea, a does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2015 Lovely, comfortable accommodation at a great price! Everything we needed was catered for and definitely want to stay for longer next time.
Stuart R. from edinburgh, a recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2015 Excellent stay in superb apartment at Glacier's Reach.Great to have the 2 bedrooms upstairs from the kitchen and lounge area. All mod cons there and working perfectly (TV, WIFI and hot tub kept kids amused once we crashed after a hard days mountain biking/other). Location couldn't be better, right by Whistler village. You can walk to everything. Highly recommended, we intend coming back !
Sharmalee W. from Brooklyn, Wellington recommends this property. Stayed for 10 days in April, 2015 wonderful two bedroom apartment, perfect for a family of four. every thing was in good order and clean. great service.
Andrea H. from Ottawa, ON recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2015 We came upon AllSeason Vacation Rentals through a search on the web. What a great find. We were in Whistler because our son was competing in the Whistler Cup and wanted something in the Village that wouldn't be too noisy. The location is great with a short walk to the village or shuttle access across the street. The unit we rented was perfect and very well maintained as well as well appointed. The private hot tub was a bonus! The owner/manager Trevor was incredibly responsive and helpful. I would definitely rent this place again.
A guest from a, a recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in February, 2015 Very clean. Amazing to have your own private hot tub. There is also the complex pools and sauna! Whistler mountain about a 10 min walk. Great value. Would stay again.
Megan M. from Mount Isa, a recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in January, 2015 A lovely apartment for a relaxing stay. Low maintenance, great kitchen facilities, everything you could possibly need for cooking. A really good place to stay with a family to keep prices down on eating out. Close to the bus stop, close to the market place grocery store, doctors, alcohol shop, pharmacy etc. Hot tub is the best. Brilliant stay, loved every minute of it.
Markus K. from Herten, a recommends this property. Stayed for 14 days in December, 2014 We spent 2 weeks there with our 3 kids! It was really cozy with the fireplace. The kitchen was really in Good shape and it was very tidy. We used the hot tub every evening, that was great and relaxing after a long snowboard day. Well, there is nothing we would complain about, it was o good choice!
A guest from Langley, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in October, 2014 We had a great time at this location for our ladies weekend! It had everything we needed, and the IGA was located right across the street. It slept everyone comfortably. I would consider staying again
yvonne s. from black diamond, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2014 nice condo. Hot tub was clean and functional. Emailed instructions on how to access unit were clear and easy to follow. If you are fine with being self-sufficient in your stay and want a simple no fuss, no muss experience, this is great!
A guest from Surrey, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2014 Great location and amenities... very comfy beds and great appliances. Some updates are necessary, the carpets are tired and the couch has a severe slope that makes seating very uncomfortable. Attention to detail in the housekeeping needs improving as well.
Janis A. from Vancouver, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2014 Had a great stay at Glaciers Reach when we where up there for the Pemberton Music Festival (few minutes walk to the shuttle). The condo was spacious for the four of us and we really enjoyed the balcony off the master bedroom for watching shooting stars at night. Look forwarding to returning next year.
A guest from Rossland, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in February, 2014 We had a great stay and would highly recommend it to anyone. It is a quick walk to the Village, the bus stop is across the street to take you (free) to the lifts. The beds are comfy, the kitchen is fully stocked. Hot tub was a welcome addition - as were the washer and dryer.Parking stalls underneath are pretty tight though.would definitely come back.
Reviewed by: jason s. recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in January, 2014 Perfect size for 5 people, all amenities provided (sugar! salt!). Located across less than 100 metres from market and shuttle stop. Staff super friendly. Everything worked smoothly. Would stay again.
A guest from Brampton, Ontario recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in January, 2014 We rented this two bedroom apartment for 3 nights. The location, although is at the far end of the village, is quite convenient. It's about 5 minute walk to the grocery store at the Market Place, and sbout 15 minute walk to the Whistler base. There is a bus stop right across the street from Glacier Reach and the bus ride is less than 5 minute to Whistler base. The unit was clean and tidy. I'd like to thank the rental manager, Trevor, for providing clear direction to access the unit. There was also a private hot tub at the unit, but unfortunately we didn't have a chance to use it.
Dave and Lisa P. from Ladysmith, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2013 My family and I (my husband and two young daughters) just recently stayed in Unit #64 at Glacier's Reach and absolutely loved our time there. The unit was very clean and comfortable and provided us with all of our needs while away from home. Loved having the upper deck to enjoy the sunshine with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine with a good book. Our girls had lots of room to play. The hot tub did have a bit of an issue with maintaining heat at a good temperature (we like 101/102 and the first time was 101 and the second time was 96 even though my husband had previously bumped it up to 101)...but still fine nontheless. Great location for unloading and for reloading with our luggage, etc. Would definitely come back to this unit again!
Timothy V. from Langley, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2013 My family of five stayed at 64 Glaciers Reach in the first half of August for five days. It was a good experience overall.PROS-This is a great location.-Although definitely not a "high end" place, it was very clean.-This was a nice overall setup of rooms for our family. We had everything we needed.CONS-It was the hottest week of the year and the pool was closed for a large portion of our stay. This was very disappointing for our three boys.-A variety of things needed to be fixed during our five day stay: the dishwasher was falling out of its cabinet, the spa guy had to come in to get the hot tub working again, the master bedroom toilet ran constantly. These were definitely inconveniences but at least they were repaired.-We were assigned an underground parking stall (#31) which was way too small for our minivan. For a place that sleeps seven, it seems silly to assign a stall that barely fits a motorcycle.
Karla J. from Victoria, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in May, 2013 We were looking for a place for our family close to but not in the middle of The Village in case of early morning or late night noise. Glacier's Reach was perfect - just a 3 minute walk and you're there. There was a 10km and half marathon race beginning right in the village at 7:30 a.m. the first morning we were there. While we could hear the announcer with the microphone if we stepped outside onto our balcony, you couldn't hear the cheers of the hundreds of people so the noise doesn't carry. Our condo was on the second level -clean and bright and comfortable. The kitchen had all the basic needs for cooking. The master bedroom has a lovely deck to sit out on and enjoy coffee and a book or a nice glass of wine. The complex has a pool, hot tub and sauna which we made use of, and of course there's a hot tub right off your living room. I would recommend this condo to anyone wanting to enjoy a bit of BC paradise.
A guest from v, b recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in January, 2013 We rented several condos at Glacier's Reach for a group of 6 couples and their young children. We had a great time. The complex is well maintained, the pool and hot tubs are very nice, parking is convenient, and the location is excellent across the street from the grocery/liquor store and village shuttle. One of the three condos was decidedly less up to date than the others, but it was no less comfortable and pleasant. I would highly suggest renting with All Season Vacation Rental in the future.
A guest from Balwyn, VIC recommends this property. Stayed for 13 days in January, 2013 We were so happy that we chose this accommodation. The location was convenient; the townhouse was comfortable and well-equipped; and Trevor, the prpoerty manager was very helpful. We also loved having our own private hot tub. If we ever go back to Whistler, this is the first place we would try and book!
Sam K. from v, b recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in December, 2012 One of the best holidays, the location was perfect since we have 2 kids and across the street you have all you need from dining to shopping and skiing and at night all the great dining areas less than 10 minutes walking distance ,that's what I call a great vacation the memory will last for a long time, thank you.
Great location for easy access to all village amenities.
Mary Lou P. from a, Washington recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in December, 2012 Place was very nice and fully equipped. Not sure where to store skis since the front door rack looked like it was for coats. If no skis in unit then there should be a sign. Loved the family room layout and amenities. BBQ would have been nice. Couldn't get TV in bedroom to work. Plastic scraper got melted and was discarded and should be replaced if it has not already. Rate was fantastic for location.
Kevin W. from v, b recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2012 Dealing with Trevor was a pleasure, teh price was right, and the cabin itself surpassed expectations. Comfortable, clean and everything we needed for a great Whistler family getaway, I will probably return here at least once a year.
Adrienne D. from v, b recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2012 We rented a condo at Glacier Reach and our friends rented another unit a couple of doors down. There were 6 kids between the ages of 7 and 15 so we spent much time at the pool, the Valley Trail (biking), the Great Glass Elevator (candy store) and playing X-Box (our friends unit had one!). The location of Glacier Reach is very conveniently close to the village without being right in it so it is very quiet. We had an action packed trip as we ventured up the mountain to take the Peak 2 Peak Gondola, went canoeing on Alta lake and did some climbing at Monkido. A great trip!
Robert D. from North vancouver, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2012 My friends and i (5 of us in total) stayed here for the august long weekend fri and sat. We were all stoked about just being in whistler together for a few days, but once we checked into our condo everything got even better. We were a 2 minute walk from the village. Parking was easy. The noise from the nightly concerts was next to none. The only "problem" we had was that the previous tenants refilled the private hottub a little too much, and when we all hot in the water overflowed onto the deck and sidewalk below. After a quick apology to the security team we never had another problem. I will absolutely come and stay here again and recommend to all my friends.
Jerry & Rhonda F. from v, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in June, 2012 Very clean. Very nice. Nice accomodations, nice people servicing the units and a very nice place to visit. Easy walking distance to everything. We were able to park the car in the garage and not use it again. The only maintenance issues were with the hot tubs. Our hot tub leaked onto the deck which was concerning. It was an older unit and very difficult to adjust the temperature. Initially our tub was too hot, then it was too cold. Very minor inconvenience.
Kelly B. from v, b does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in May, 2012 The unit was clean, but we were not told the pool would be closed during our stay. We would not have booked there if we knew that as it was to be a hot weekend. There is no wifi in that unit. We looked all over (as per the instruction book) for the router and there was not one. I called the property manager on Friday night and left a message with my cell phone number but no one called me back. The unit itself was fine, it was the lack of comminication from the manager when we had an issue that bothered us.
Property Manager Response: Response from Whistler Vacations Hi Kelly, I am sorry about the pool, I did not know that it was going to be closed unitl a couple days before the work started. I should have contacted you. As for the internet, I never recieved a message from you but this home has two open and unlocked networks that are generated from adjacent homes. I hope that you saw those on your browsers.Trevor
Stephanie J. from Bellingham, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in March, 2012 We had a great time. The location made it very quick and easy to get to the slopes and restaurants and family friendly take-out. It was very quiet too!
Geoff T. from Vancouver, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in March, 2012 I would definitely stay with this company again. After living in Whistler for years I know the area and the options available in town. This is a great deal for a great location. The hot tub on the deck is a nice touch too!
Terry H. from North Vancouver, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in March, 2012 Our unit was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The hot tub was fantastic and to be able to walk to the village was so only complaint was that I could not access wifi and had to go into the village to do so.Loved the outdoor pool.We will try to stay here on our next visit.Thank you!
A guest from Port Coquitlam, BC does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in March, 2012 I like the location, easy access to the village, shuttles and parking. The unit was clean and organized. Our entire trip was also based on having a private hot tub to enjoy after a hard days skiing and boarding. The Hot Tub heater was broken and could not be fixed until after our stay which we found very dissapointing and frustrating. I feel that the owner should compensate us partially for the hot tub issue as the cost included a working hot tub. Trevor did respond quickly to having the hot tub company check the unit but never called me to find out the result and has not called or e-mailed me since our stay.
Property Manager Response: Response from Whistler Vacations Hi DaveSorry I did not follow up with you right away, you checked out three days ago. I had heard from the hot tub person that the tub had been repaired so I thought that the issue had been resolved. It turns out that the fix that was applied did not work. I will place a credit on your card shortly.Trevor (owner manager)
Dennis W. from Seattle, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in February, 2012 Unit 64 was nicer than others with upgraded furnishings and finishes but all units in complex are very small and have a ton of wasted space. Beds were not super comfortable and bedroom 2 with the double/ single bunk is really only fit for children. WiFi was finicky in this unit and hot tub took until the 4th day of a 5 day stay to get to the right temperature. All parking garages in Whistler are not high enough for SUV + Rocket box so be prepared to have to take yours off to park. Location was ok, a bit of a trek to the lifts in ski boots or you can grab the bus which was really easy. Decent for the price paid, think we'll go closer in the next time.
A guest from Warrnambool, Victoria recommends this property. Stayed for 9 days in December, 2011 The place was fantastic. Very clean and included everything we needed. Good location near the market place and only a short walk to the lifts and village center. The manager, Trevor was very helpful. The hot tub was awesome for sore muscles after snowboarding. Would stay there again and highly recommend.
Pam T. from Olympia, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in November, 2011 My family rented 3 condos next to each other. We had a great time. The condos were quiet and had everything we needed. Loved the close-in location!
Reviewed by: Maria H. recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in October, 2011 As soon as I arrived I felt home. Comfortable bed, great private hot tub, beautiful view of mountains, nice for families, perfect for couples. What I loved the most was the location; closeness to nature and accross the street the excitement of the village.I will definately recommend it to my friends. I can hardly wait to go back!Maria H
A guest from v, b recommends this property. Stayed for 14 days in August, 2011 As a Whistler Local for 3 years I had the opportunity to do first hand research for the best and affordable vacation home for my families visit. I was pleasantly surprised, that the vacation home was so luxurious, spacious, private, clean and close to whistlers center of action. The owner was very helpful and professional. I couldn't have found a better place than that!
Phil P. from Surrey, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2011 We have been coming to Glaciers Reach for the last 6 years and unit 64 is one of the best units, very clean and all appliances work, ideal location to the village, good walking distance, Should have better discounts for repeat loyal customers, the special applies to everyone???
Anna T. from Vancouver, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2011 I would recommend Glaciers Reach to anyone that wants a relaxing stay! Unfortunately, there was some construction this weekend with the suite next door, the noise was not too relaxing. Hopefully next time we'll be notified if there would be any renovations going on.
Property Manager Response: Response from Whistler Vacations Hi Anna, unfortunately the strata management company decided to do a buch of deck repairs in the busy summer season, it makes sence given the abundance of dry weather in the summer but not the best timing for guests.Trev
A guest from Campbell River, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in July, 2011 The condo was great. Everything in good working order. The layout of the condo was a bit different. We knew there were stairs to get to the main level, but didn't know that the main washroom was on a split level, it was difficult for an elderly relative at night to get to washroom. Other than that, it was perfect.
