Reviewed by: A guest recommends this property. Stayed for 28 days in February, 2014 The Greens management team is very responsive to renter needs and maintains the grounds very well. This particular unit has a good location near the pool and fitness center and the patio gets sun beginning late morning and all afternoon--ideal for winter. The size and layout are good but the furnishings definitely need upgrading. We found the mattresses in both bedrooms to be uncomfortable. The kitchen is furnished with just the basic dishes, cooking utensils and tools. If you plan to do a lot of cooking/entertaining you will likely find the content inadequate. Some of the items we had to purchase included serving dishes, a bucket to mop floors, over the door hooks for the bathrooms, soap dishes, an iron (the one in the apt doesn't work well), numerous small cooking tools and a good set of knives. The entire apartment needs a good deep cleaning.
Reviewed by: A guest does not recommend this property. Stayed for 31 days in January, 2014 The Greens @ Ventana condos are located in a beautiful section of Tucson. Restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, etc. and an upscale mall are nearby. However, most Tucson attractions (with the exception of Sabino Canyon) are at least 30-45 minutes away. Condo 11103W looked good in the photos but did not measure up to our expectation. When we moved in the carpet was very dirty and the condo in need of deep cleaning--baseboards were dirty, some drawers had not been wiped out, there were spider webs between the windows and screens on most of the windows. The unit also needs upgrading and refurbishing. The ice maker did not work, the stove hood light was burned out, the metal blinds are badly bent, none of the outlets hold a plug securely, the furniture is worn and we found the master bedroom mattress so uncomfortable we ended up sleeping in twin beds in the 2nd bedroom which were slightly less saggy. If you plan on doing a lot of cooking you will be disappointed in how the kitchen is furnished. There are no serving dishes, most of the utility knives are broken, there is no hand mixer and only a few baking dishes. I also had to purchase over the door hooks for hanging robes and bath towels. Management did respond to our request to fix some plugs so we could plug in a hairdryer and recharge phones & laptops. They also fixed a towel holder that fell off the wall, repaired the ice maker (has since stopped working for a 2nd time), replaced the bulb in the stove hood, and turned up the water heater. Kudos for these efforts but the sheer volume of issues that presented themselves speaks to a unit that needs a major overhaul.
Reviewed by: A guest recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2013 Very nice, livable condo, and very reasonable in price. Really enjoyed the pool and grilling facilities. Killed a scorpion in the living room upon arrival, but other than that, very enjoyable stay.
A guest from Manitou Springs, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2011 The condo was very nice, clean and quiet. There was a mix up with the pool key but the staff took care of it immediately. I had a 2 bedroom, but there were only 2 wineglasses, would have expected more for a 4 person place. No pool towels were supplied so had to take the bath towels instead.
Reviewed by: A guest recommends this property. Stayed for 14 days in February, 2011 We loved most everything about our stay at the Greens. The location is great. Close to restaurants and shopping. Easy to get to tourist attractions. The only downfall was that the carpet was filthy. My husband does not wear shoes in the house. His white socks are permantly dingy with many washings after waling on the carpet. We had a couple of issues with light bulbs being burned out. Property management responded very quickly and pleasantly. Either the condo we stayed in was overdue for deep cleaning or they need to work on their attention to detail. Overall, we loved the Greens and would definitely return.
