Feb. 11th to 18th, 2012 Reviewed by: Patrick F. recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in February, 2012 Nice location. Overall generally clean. Shower floor was not clean when arrived. Box TV's are ok but could easily have flat screens on the wall would be nice. Manager was very nice and accomadating. Rental Bikes are available at desk but bikes needed a little attention to ride around. I liked that the beach was just a hundred yards away and the cost was half that of the rooms on the beach. The area is mostly retires with some families vacationing. It was a peaceful & pleasant area to visit. If you are looking for adventure take Ron's Adventures at the nearby park. You take waverunners around the islands close by. Great experience. |

Beach Club Rentals A guest from Staples, MN does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in December, 2011 We booked our rental online. We booked unit 201 but upon arrival we were given 301. (the manager said it was a better unit???) anyway, it lacked things were were counting on that were listed in unit 201, like the washer/dryer we needed as we had to pack light for travel and needed to wash clothes. The pool was great, but there is no internet reception in the units, you have to go down to the center community room. It was an ok place but for a couple hundred dollars more, we could have had something nicer right on the beach. |

As a result, they need to improve on the emergency response time.However, both employees were very polite and the morning one apologized and offered a nice gesture. I never look at text messages and had to stay the night at the holiday Inn. An actual phone call would have been appreciated Property Manager Response: Response from Beach Club Vacation Rentals Dear Cindy, Our after hours emergency line is for Emergency Service, like floods, fires, no A/C, etc. Had someone came to unlock your door there is a $50 service call. Clean Unit, Close to Beach A guest from essex junction, VT recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in February, 2011 I stayed in a two bedroom unit that was very clean with good mattresses. There are NO water views as you see on the website...that view is from the walkway to the beach, at the beach, all units see the hotels across the street so that was a bit disappointing. However, for the price it was a great stay and the beach was a quick walk across the street. Nice restaurants within walking distance were a huge plus! Property Manager Response: Response from Beach Club Vacation Rentals Hi Shona, Some units have better views than others. On the end of the building you were staying, you do need to be on the 4th floor for a nice view of the water, between the condo's across the street. The south end of the building on the 3rd and 4th floor have pretty views from the units. While on our website, when you click on the unit you can see pictures of the interiors and you can also see exactly what the view is.
