The house was surprisingly spacious, warm, inviting, and well-appointed. Fantastic views from the many large windows were an added bonus, and the location (within Timberline resort and just a few minutes drive to the Canaan Valley ski area) was perfect. The rental company, Best of Canaan, was terrific and made things easy for us. We'll surely be back. |

We used the full kitchen, the hot tub, the switch-on gas fireplace, and the wireless internet. There was plenty of space for the 6 of us, and another couple could have fit in the loft bed. As a family, we just wanted a place where we could relax, reconnenct, and enjoy God's creation. This was the perfect place - and the leaves cooperated with peak color. We hiked through the woods by the house, cooked in the well-equipped kitchen, watched movies and chatted on the huge, comfy couch, and soaked in the spacious hot tub.
