Vacation Condo Rental Description:
Everything has been fully remodeled in this cozy and modern studio. This unit has an 42 inch Flat Screen TV and an XBOX 360 setup with games. It is located in D building just seconds to the corridor trail. It offers fantastic views of the continental divide.The Ironhorse Resort, is a full service Ski Resort which has everything you will need to make your stay comfortable right on premisis. There is an indoor/outdoor heated pool for the kids and 2 large outdoor hot tubs for the grownups as well as a health club with steam rooms and showers. A full service ski shop centrally located on the property allows easy access from every Iron Horse Condo. You can rent all your ski or board equipement including helmets, buy ski clothing or get a full tune. The on site bar and restaurant provides a cozy place to meet other guests over your favorite drink or order a meal to stay or go!!. They have food choices ranging from gourmet pizza, prime rib steaks and pineapple shrimps. You can also just simply relax on a leather couch by the fireplace in the lounge which features free hot chocolate or coffee. Washers and Dryers are available on the second floor of D building.

convenient and cozy A guest from Denver, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in March, 2013 easy access to slopes. nice corner balcony. Unit close to elevators. The only down side was the restaurant in the resort- "Bistro"; service was terribly slow two nights in a row. The food was excellent once it arrived. The first night they at least took 20% off of the check.Otherwise fabulous and I would do it again. |

So So Jeremy G. from Milford, MI does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in February, 2013 We booked this room thinking it was a true ski in/out condo. Felt that once you left the property down one of the slowest cat tracks I've been on. It was hard to make it back without having to make a couple chairlift jumps to get there. There was a sign saying the Iron Horse Bistro was open till 10pm, me and 5 others sat down at 9:15 to have a late dinner. It seemed like a total inconvenience for the staff to serve us. All of our meals came out at different times and the last plate that came out had to be boxed for carryout because everyone else was done. My biggest problem with my stay was the constant use of door codes. For the main entrance,door, pool and garage. Your hands were always filled with luggage or ski equipment. I have to come to Winter Park every year for business and this will probably we my last at Iron Horse. We visited a friend at the Frontier across the street and by far was mush more appealing. The Iron Horse wasn't horrible but so so... |

Great value slopeside at Winter Park A guest from Woodbury, MN recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in January, 2013 We had a great time during our stay in unit D 4014. The condo was clean, updated, and very convenient with a walk out the door to a catwalk run that ends at the base area. The Murphy Bed was very comfortable, and there was plenty of space for 2 adults (although 4 adults would be tight). The hot tubs were great at the end of the day. Renting from Ski Depot is super easy and just below the condo - we rented demo skis instead of schlepping our own through the airport, and it was a great decision. We would definitely stay here again! |

The unit was very well located in the building and we had everything that we could have needed right at our finger tips. The place was clean and comfortable and we think for the price it is an amazing value and we will be back! I would stay away from the bartender downstairs as asking her for a martini is asking for trouble as she had no idea what she was doing. She was pretty rude and was more interested in her cell phone than being a bartender. |

The colors are pleasing and the space is well used. Brushed Nickel is the finish on fixtures and it is very complimentary. The elevator is fast! The buildings are very clean and the exercise room, in building C, was appreciated. The restaurant, on site, is closed in the summer. The Moffat Tunnel serving the Rail Road is within walking distance. The short walk to Old Winter Park was pleasant. Winter Park Management, LLC is represented well. All of my transactions were through Charlotte. She is professional and welcoming. I will stay with this management company and this location for my next stay in Winter Park. |

Iron Horse unit D 4014 A guest from Lakewood, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in December, 2011 The location cannot be beat. The pool was very warm and hot tubs were great. Workout room and locker rooms, very nice. Downsides: Our condo ad said it had an XBOX 360 and video library, which it had neither of those. In the bathroom where the vanity and sink are, a few more hooks would be nice to hang towels from pool, similar to the hooks by the front door. This specific unit had a great location right by elevator. also, the sofa bed was awful, it was so bad we didn't even use it and just slept on the couch instead. A few more pillows would have been a nice ammenity. Overall, a great location and nice unit. |

The location was great; walking distance to the village and the ski in ski out was perfect! I'm hoping the remodel was still in process, because the info about the studio said, "Complete remodel," but the texturing on the kitchen ceiling was falling down and there were holes in the bathroom walls from water damage. A little more loving and the studio would be very relaxing. There was no Xbox, as stated. The Murphy bed was great! The room was spacious even with it down. The fireplace/heater was a wonderful addition. The kitchen was nicely updated. Thanks for a great stay! Property Manager Response: Response from Winter Park Management LLC Xbox is back in the condo.
