And I am a kid again. That how Splash Resort Condominiums makes you feel. There?s nothing like this place. If family vacation is what you?re looking for, if keeping the kids occupied is what you?re looking for, if getting wet is what you?re looking for, then SPLASH is what you?re looking for. This awesome resort opened in 2007 and it filled up right away. Why? Because it was perfect for what Panama City Beach is all about ? families. Let?s go down the list of stuff that will bring out the kid in everybody with environments that include:
? There?s a beachfront lazy river
? Lot?s of indoor and outdoor pools
? A Li'l tot splash pad
? There?s an indoor Water park with
o water slides
o water cannons
o disappearing walls
o dive in movie theater
o and many interactive water toys.
Your kids will have to see it to believe it. There is even an arcade with its own mini bowling alley and a game room!
But lemme tell you, this isn?t just for kids. Mom and Dad will love Splash too and not just because the kids are having a blast. There is an adult only swimming pool and Jacuzzi with a bird?s eye view of the kids play area, a state of the art fitness facility overlooking the pool and lazy river, a poolside Bar & Grill, High Speed Internet access and onsite Beach apparel and Surf shop.
But let me tell out about the beach. The Splash beachfront is bigger than a football field wide and it?s all sugar white sand beach that graduates to the most beautiful emerald color water that you?ll find anywhere. So just come on down and stretch out in the sun or take a dip in the Gulf. Here you can relax while the kids dive into big fun!
PIER PARK. When you?re done with the sun, there?s lots of other fun located right around this resort. In fact there?s a new shopping experience that?s pretty close that I want to tell you about. Pier Park is really something pretty spectacular. It?s a million plus square food shopping area (like a mall at the beach) It?s got a ton of stuff. There?s a Dillards, Target, Penny?s, Ron Jon (my second home); there?s a 16 screen movieplex. All kinds of restaurants. Panera Bread for a quick bite, Longhorn Steakhouse & Outback. And get this: there?s a Jimmy Buffet Margaritaville, you know, it?s 5 o?clock somewhere. And, if you want a Café American Double Shot Vente it?s got a Starbucks. Can you imagine? Starbucks in flip flops. Oh, and during the summer there?s going to be free concerts for the whole family. How cool is that?!?
If you?re coming down for a kid sports tournament, you?re pretty close to the Frank Brown Park, where they host a lot of them.
Here?s the scoop on the condo.
Man is this place big! It isn?t just big, it?s bea-u-ti-ful. It?s got really interesting décor. If you didn?t look out the windows (which is hard to do because theres? lots of great views of the beach) you?d think you were in an uptown condo. It?s really cool. And, it really makes the most of the room in every room. There?s plenty of space for all your beach stuff, but that?s not why you?ll pick this condo. It?s got great views and it sleeps 10. Plain and simple.
The LIVING ROOM sofa opens up as a queen sleeper. The entertainment center, has a flat screen TV. And the DVD player lets you play movies when you?re beached out. Or, surf the net wireless connection.
The MASTER BEDROOM has a large King bed with access to the balcony!
The SECOND MASTER also has a large King Bed!
The THIRD BEDROOM has a queen bed and a set of twin bunks! It also has balcony access from the room!
That's plenty of room for a party of 10!
Note: Each Splash guest is required to register at the front desk and pay a $20.00 registration fee for use of the Splash amenities. You will be able to pick up your wristbands and parking passes when you register.

Stayed for 7 days in October, 2014 We visited this hotel in October 2014 for a family vacation! It was very nice! My only complaint is that they closed the lazy river and one of the pools and bar area on the second day of our stay!?? Having two littles boys we were disappointed about this!
Great location A guest from hawkinsville, GA recommends this property.
Stayed for 7 days in March, 2014 Splash is a great property with a great location but the condo we stayed in was not very clean. The kitchen floor was sticky with spots in front of the fridge and the middle bedroom comforter had spots of food (I hope) on the underside, I found out when I turned it back that night, also there was a bag of candy wrappers stuck behind the top bunk bed when my grandchild went to bed. I believe you might need a new cleaning crew.
On the fence Lynn S. from Larder Lake, ON recommends this property.
Stayed for 7 days in January, 2014 We were very disappointed that there was construction going on while we were there, we couldn't go out on our balcony for 2 weeks with the construction crew were working, the resort would not allow us to take chairs down to the beach, while there had been tarps covering the pool. The condo that we were in was quite large and we liked that and the beds were quite comfortable, the kitchen had a qreat supply of items for cooking and entertaining but the walls and the rugs were in terrible shape. I did like the splash resort because alot of friends stay there but I do hope that the next time we are able to rent, that the condo and the resort are completely renovated.
Property Manager Response: Response from Select Homes, LLC This guest was made aware of the construction prior to booking and received a discount because of it. This property is one of the most popular and therefore is booked solid for most of the year. We intend to make the necessary improvements prior to the beginning of summer.

Stayed for 18 days in January, 2014 Condo was under renivations and we couldn't use our outside deck for two weeks, witch was disapointing!!

Nice condo but could have been better equipped. John W. from Lawernceburg, KY does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 7 days in October, 2013 We rented this condo for 8 people staying in Panama City Beach during fall break. The condo was nice, but seems the owner could have done a bit more to make it referable. First thing I noticed was that there were multiple areas where the walls had been touched up with paint, but the touch up paint didn't match the wall color very well. Not a deal killer for me, but if I were the owner I would have wanted the walls to be a consistent color. Also, there could have been more dishes provided. For a condo that sleeps 10, we only had 4 small coffee cups and 6 bowls. Could have had more drinking glasses as well. Once again, not a deal killer but c'mon, dishes are cheap. The biggest frustration was that the building had maintenance going on and because of that 2 of the balconies were closed and inaccessible. Also, they began work at 8:00 a.m. and it was very noisy the entire day. One day while working on one of our balconies, the workers blew a circuit in one of our bedrooms. I realize that these buildings need maintenance, but the issue that I have was that I was never informed that maintenance would be going on and that 2 of our balconies would be closed. In my opinion, I should have known that up front before I paid the rental fee. The owner may not know this, but the kitchen faucet is leaking and that needs to be taken care of. Overall, this place has tons of promise if the owner just put a little more into the unit, it wouldn't take much. From a renter's perspective, it's the little things and attention to detail that makes us want to return.
Great location. great view. Kathy B. from Arnold, Missouri recommends this property.
Stayed for 7 days in September, 2013 Splash was a great time, we had 2 grand kids with us they enjoyed the water park a lot. The location on the beach was great. Condo was nice could use some updates for carpet and furniture but was clean, all appliances worked.A great time would go back sometime.
Horrible elevators A guest from Haubstadt, IN recommends this property.
Stayed for 7 days in July, 2013 Need more elevators the wait was terrible. The condo was not very clean. The walls need painted doesn't look very good.
Great place to stay for whole family Melissa M. from Collinsville, AL recommends this property.

Great Plav to stay!!! Perfect for families!!! Amber W. from Collinston, LA recommends this property.
Stayed for 7 days in May, 2013 The condo we rented was great. The pictures did not do it justice. It was alot bigger than expected(nice suprise). The located was perfect for our family. We got to stay in a nice place and did not have to worry with all the teenagers there for graduation. This will be the place we go back too!!!
The unit is in need of repairs. Marilyn H. from Hardinsburg, KY recommends this property.
Stayed for 7 days in September, 2012 Overall the unit was fine but is i need of updates and repairs. All three tubs were very slow draining. It would take several hours to drain after each shower. The cover was coming off the front of the tub in one of the bathrooms. The chairs on the balcanoy were worn and I was afraid they would break if they were set in. The washer/dryer, refrig, stove, and microwave were nice and the unit was spacious. The waterpark would have been nice if the water had not been so cold.
Splash was great Ryan M. from Talking Rock, GA recommends this property.
Stayed for 7 days in September, 2012 We really really enjoyed Splash and would stay there again. Very family oriented, grounds were clean, lot of activities for kids from crawlers to elementary age kids. 2 miles from Pier Park which was easy to get to. Amenities in unit worked well, washer/dryer, dish washer, oven/stove, etc. All tile floors were clean, but carpets needed to be vacuumed on arrival and vacuums in unit didn't work. One of the bedrooms smelled like vomit so I had to wash comforters on arrival and clean a spot up off the floor. We will definitely stay at Splash again, but I wasn't overly impressed with Best Beach Getaway rental company. They were professional, but not always easy to contact and didn't respond to complaints of vomit smell, needing a vacuum bag, or a broken chair on first day. Unit was very nice though and was very comfortable for a family of 4 plus 2 grandparents.
far below expectations, splash condo 1101w was very dirty/filthy Eric T. from Clinton, TN does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 7 days in August, 2012 We love the splash and have stayed there numerous times. When we arrived this time the condo was filthy. Carpet was almost black and dust covered almost everything: tv's, plants, etc. Comforter had multiple stains, one looked like blood. Staff at best beach responded after a few calls and had the carpet cleaned (which the cleaner was amazed at the dirt and number of black water buckets it produced) and re-dusted and changed comforter. Which was appreciated but still I never felt clean all week. Very disappointed with quality vs. price. Would recommend splash but from a private owner as I am accustomed to renting from. Learned a lesson about renting from a beach service.
miserable week William M. from Pell City, AL does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 7 days in August, 2012 unit 1101w was the most filthy condo i have ever stayed in. carpet was dirty, sheets were not changed, paint job was a mess. the pictures in the ad were very deceptive. will never go back.
Beautiful scenery....dirty room Ace M. from Bella Vista, AR recommends this property.
Stayed for 7 days in September, 2010 This was our fist family vacation. I have a 9 mo old son and 2 year old son that was on vacation. When I got to the room there was alot of cleaning that had to be done to make the room suitable for an infant crowling around. There was food splattered on the walls, also dried food ground into the carpet. In the masterbedroom it looked like somone puked on the floor between the bed and sliding glass window. Two of the bathrooms had clogged drains in the showers. Between the drano and cleaning supplies we bought we probably spent $50.00 and the first half our day cleaning. Not exactly what we expected out of our vacation. The funny thing was we had to pay a cleaning fee with the room. After we got through those issues we enjoyed the rest of our stay. Overall the location was wonderful and the facility itself had many things for our children to do. Was a great spot for a family vacation. Just wish more attention had been paid to the cleanliness of the room. The size of the condo and ammenities were lovely.
Not happy with cleanliness of condo. Sheri R. from Eufaula, AL does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 2 days in August, 2010 There was dried food stuck in carpet in living room, dining area. Popcorn left in carpet. Had to wash the 2 pots used because they were not clean. Were coated with grease and appeared had not been washed. Curtain were hanging in spots in 2nd master suite. The 130.00 cleaning fee that I was charged was very hard to swallow. The condo was cleaner when I left than when we arrived.
Say NO to Splash! A guest from Troy, Missiouri does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 7 days in July, 2010 We made the decision to stay at Splash while our daughter was in her national softball tournament because we have a 5 year old son that, from the pics on the website, we thought would really enjoy Splash. We paid $2500 for a 3 bed 3 bath. Upon arrival, my vacation was upset by the general lack of cleanliness of the resort, and made worse when we opened our door for the condo! The carpets were black and the condo smelled like smoke. The white tile floors were so dirty, the corners were completely black, and there were stains on the toilet from not being cleaned. After contacting best beach getaways, they agreed to have the cleaning company come back in while we were gone and the carpets were set to be cleaned on Monday (we arrived on Saturday). When we returned from dinner, the cleaning company had obviously not been there, so I went to the store to buy cleaning supplies (there were none there, no mop, no nothing, also note, there were 2 vaccums, one in pieces piled in the air conditioning closet with the air conditioner with no front panel and no filter, and one in a closet but is wasn't functional), and proceeded to spend the rest of my evening cleaning the floors and bathrooms of the condo. Just a side note, the third bedroom bath had a toilet plunger in a plastic bag with a layer of brown stuff underneath the bag that was stuck to the floor! Yes, I cleaned it, due to that was the bathroom my daughter was going to use. So, technically, the person who stays in this condo will find it quite clean, and will also find a new supply of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher soap and cleaning bleach. Your welcome. Well, just when I thought it would be nice to head out to the beach, I was again met with a surprise. There was hardly any room, as people just leave their things overnight on the beach, mainly because they do not drag the beach for whatever reason, like most beaches. Instead, you have to look so you do not step on beer cans, a
Overall a good stay A guest from Boyle, MS recommends this property.
Stayed for 7 days in July, 2010 Only negative comments: supposed to be free dvd rentals, no one knew anything about that; also the grills by the pool did not work; kitchen had no large skillet to cook in only a very small one
