Wish we'd had a few more days here... Scott W. from Winston Salem, NC recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in April, 2013 Winter Smith on Main certainly livs up to its' billing! Everything is as you see in the pictures, plus more. We found the unit to be very clean and nicely appointed. The beds are comfortable and the location is convenient to enjoy any one of the 7 ski areas located within a 30 radius. Having a private garage was a nice perk too. The restaurant downstairs, Bagalis, looks very inviting and the menu appealing - unfortunately, that's about all I can say as it was closed (Tuesday) the night we were planning to eat there. There are, of course, dozens of other dining options within a 5 minute walk: Moose Jaw (burgers / saloon); Log Cabin Cafe (b'fast); and Peppino's Pizza & Subs to name a few.If you enjoy the convenience of ski-in/ski-out at one of the major resorts, stay there and pay the price BUT if you plan to visit other resorts and do other non-resort activities you'd be hard pressed to find as nice and convenient a place as Winter Smith on Main. |

Stayed for 4 days in March, 2013 Depending on the size of your group, ours was 2 on our honeymoon, I would say that anyone who is trying to decide on Winter Smith or another cabin style or condo, this place is going to be nearly impossible to beat. The home is just incredible, it's cozy and it has one of the best locations you will ever find in the middle of the perfect little town. We basically needed to bring clothes, that's how stocked and ready they were for us. This place made us feel special, and as neat as it is to try new locations we look forward to booking it again, we truly did not want to leave. Also, the hot tubs privacy and location are perfect as well. You will not be disappointed. |

The location is perfect with shops and restaurants right out the door on main street!Close to all ski resorts. Condo was equiped with everything you needed! Hot tub was priceless after a day on the slopes. Horsecack riding at the Platte Ranch in Fairplay is the Best!!!! One very minor thing would be to have more cable channels in bed room and den like they have in living room, and an upgrade on tv in den.The condo and vacation was awesome!!! |

i want to live here! A guest from Ashburn, VA recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in December, 2012 i sometimes find ski resorts too commercial and manufactured. Not so Frisco. It's a genuine old town surrounded by the most gorgeous scenery. I don't snowboard but everyday found a different beautiful trail to hike, even in the snow! My teenagers were able to board a different mountain everyday because of Frisco's central location. The unit was like being in soho, very different than the cookie cutter ski condos one usually is forced to endure on these trips. everything in the unit was the best quality and it was a very comfortable place to read and rest after an active day. The ski shuttle is most convenient to breckenridge although it takes about twice as long as a car ride there. shuttles to the other ski areas are less convenient so you'll definitely want a car. |

This picture doesn't do it justice! It felt incredibly luxurious and comfy at the same time, like the most wonderful home away from home.
