Each time the staff has been courteous and professional. I had originally booked a different home to stay in. Cort contacted me about Mittersill instead of the choice I had 1st made knowing I was bringing my children and based on past experience with my family thought Mittersill would be a better stay. Perfect locatiotion for nature lovers. Sudhar G. from Jersey City, NJ recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2012 Only issue we had was the water pressure(If use the downstairs bathroom there would be no water upsatirs) which I assume is common in mountain areas. Property Manager Response: Response from Franconia Notch Vacations Hello all and thank you Sudhar for mentioning the water pressure issue that you experienced. The week after this comment was made the owner... "had the water department come in and do a pressure test; we are at 90 PSI which is very good. Then today I flushed and cleaned our tankless hot water heater to improve flow and it seems to worked. I had 3 faucets and the tub running at once with only a slight drop in flow." So please note the low water pressure mentioned was not the norm and that the trouble has indeed been fixed. Thank you again for alerting us the trouble!! Great Location A guest from Andover, MA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2011 Great location- many things to do close by. Had everything we needed. Uncomfortable bed in master bedroom stopped this being a place we would return to. Property Manager Response: Response from Franconia Notch Vacations Hello, Manager's Response here. In fairness to this chalets caring property owner's, the mattress in the master bedroom is less than 2 years old and has served many prior guests without complaint. In our opinion it seems a bit harsh to label this home as "Not Recommended" based upon one persons personal preference to the qualities of the master bed. In this instance the owners prefer a firm mattress, however, again please note that this mattress is less than 2 yeras old. FYI- This chalet truly is one of the more outstanding homes available within the Alpine Village of Mittersill USA! |
