This TOTALLY renovated 1 bedroom 1 bath condo is an amazingly comfortable place to stay while enjoying your trip to Maui. Our condo is completely updated with granite counter tops, ceramic tile flooring, beautiful new light fixtures and ceiling fans, newer appliances including washer/dryer, newer quality furnishings and a fully equipped kitchen, air THE BEST THING ABOUT OUR PLACE IS OCEAN VIEW AND LOCATION! You are just steps away from one of Maui's beautiful south shore white sand beaches yet just far enough away from the road to enjoy the sound of birds and palm trees swaying not traffic. We provide beach chairs, a beach umbrella and beach towels for your added convenience. The Complex also offers 2 pools, elevators, nice clean propane grills, and tennis court. Also lots of restaurants and great shopping are within walking distance. We take tremendous pride of ownership in our lovely condo and this shows with every detail - especially cleanliness!! We also live on island and are just a phone call away happy to help in any way. We would love to have you as guests. Stayed for 9 days in March, 2013 Condo C505 was like home but in paradise. everything we needed to enjoy our vacation was available to us,snorkel gear, beach chairs, and a fully equipped kitchen. The location was walking distance to shops, restaurants and of course the beach. The view from the lanai was gorgous. We will try for this unit when we return to Maui. |

Kihei February 2013 A guest from North Vancouver, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in February, 2013 My son gave me the trip to Kihei as a gift, he is in his 20's and I in my 50's. We both had a great time and were very comfortable in the condo. It was a treat to have the beach umbrella, chairs and lunch cooler to use while I spent hours watching him surf. The kitchen was well stocked, the condo was quiet and clean. We will be back, I hope!! |

Our check in experience was exactly as expected from the management companies instructions, we had no problems accessing the condo upon our arrival. We found it clean and comfortably furnished. The view from the lanai can not be beat, we viewed dolphins and whales from the lanai through out our stay. The owners have provided many more amenities than we've experienced at other condos - beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, snorkel gear, sun hats, binoculars, etc. etc. We did not lack for anything in the kitchen either. The condo is a great location next to the beach, shops and restaurants, and is easy to find. Our only comment is that the bedroom can get a little warm, we couldn't reach the windows to open for ventilation. Overall we were extremely satisfied and would recommend this unit to others. Thanks for a wonderful experience! |

Robbed via lock box code and key while staying here Jennifer Z. from Henderson, NV does not recommend this property. Stayed for 10 days in August, 2012 I was robbed while staying at this unit. They entered via access with the lock box code and unit key. All my cash, credit cards, ID, electronics, carry on, handbag, and jewelry were stolen. I am a single female traveler, and am very disappointed that such easy access was available. Police located a list the burglar left in the unit, and I feel that Maui Condo and Car is responsible for this situation, as the list contained all their unit numbers and codes. As my homeowners only covers 10% theft off primary residence, I will not only have had my vacation ruined, but also have lost all my items and be out thousands of dollars. Maui Car and Condo were nice in helping me by moving me to another unit, giving me some cash, and driving me to the airport. The MPD was also outstanding. As of now I am not sure how I will be reimbursed, as it was very recent, and I am working with the company to figure this out. All in all not a pleasant experience. |

Excellent Location Poor Design Gerald P. from Bismarck, ND does not recommend this property. Stayed for 14 days in June, 2012 Due to the nature of the initial design of Building C at Kihei Akahi, I found the layout of my 5th floor unit rather dark. Because of the overhang from the lanai above and the long narrowness of the unit's layout, plus a black love seat in front of the window, light did not flood into the condo. Also the bedroom is stuck in the back with small windows above the closet. However, views from the lanai were great and it was naturally the bright spot of the unit. Recent updates were very nice (granite counter, cupboards, kitchen equipment, etc.) but a major oversight was not making the counter a sit up counter with stools. All this being said, you aren't in the unit that much during the day so the natural light becomes a non issue. |

The A/C timer was not appreciated. Monton R. from Corona, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in May, 2012 The condo was great and had just been remodeled. The location is great: five min. walk to Kam II beach. The partial ocean view was also great. The a/c timer however is another story. This is the first time I'd experience something like this and this is my seventh trip to this island. The timer has a six hours dial on it but it runs only for two hours (other condos don't have one!). Needless to say the it kept waking us up every two hours when it snapped off loudly. I slept on the couch and my daughter in the bedroom. I understand the reason is to keep the utilities bill down but when you rent out the condo you shouldn't penalize your client. They should be able to use the appliances any way they wish short of damanging them of course. It just comes off as stinchy. I did call and complain and the maintanance man came and disabled the timer the next day. For the a/c to work properly for the bedroom(located in the family room only which is pretty common for most of the condos there); there should be a floor standing fan supplied so you can use it to push the cold air into the bedroom.Other than that the condo is great. I'd rent it again as long as that timer is history and a floor standing fan is supplied. |

We found that the adjacent Kamaole Beach parks had some of the better snorkeling in the south, so the location was ideal - we could hit the (beautiful) beaches and snorkel at the drop of a hat! Bed was a bit on the soft side. |

The condo has been beautifully remodelled, the view from the lanai is gorgeous, and the grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The location, across from Kam II beach, is perfect -- connects to an ocean trail, near shops and restaurants, convenient to everything. We had a wonderful stay and hope to stay at this condo again in the future. |
