Martha F. from Pt Reyes Station, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in June, 2014 We were an extended family gathered to celebrate a graduation from UCSD for a long weekend in June and this property was very comfortable, old fashioned kitchen and baths but well maintained and just right for us. We especially loved morning coffee on the back deck and watching the stars at night. Also the beach is only two blocks away and we found several nice local restaurants within walking distance too.
David C. from Tucson, AZ recommends this property. Stayed for 10 days in March, 2014 This was our 5th time at Puert Azul. We love it, and feel quite at home. There is just such an open, airy feeling in the house, it is comfortable for those who spend a lot of time inside, as well as for those on the run.
Dave C. from Tucson, AZ recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in October, 2013 This is a great house for relaxing and seeing the sights. From this place you can do everything or nothing. Great property!
Reviewed by: A guest recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in October, 2013 We had an easy and comfortable vacation in this beautiful vacation rental. We were walking distance from beautiful beaches and had the benefit of being close to stores and restaurants in just blocks.
A guest from Loveland, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in September, 2013 When we arrived to the house, we noticed there wasn't air conditioning- we were a little shocked- it was pretty warm in September. As we started the 20 fans in the house, the house cooled quickly. We did have some trouble getting a parking space on the weekends, however, during the week, we didn't have a problem. All in all, the house was clean, comfortable, and safe. It was central to everything and WindandSea Beach is gorgeous. We went to the grocery store- Von's- right down the road and cooked almost every meal in the kitchen the week we were there. The patio/backyard was wonderful--creating additional space for our 2 boys ages 9 and 6. The beds were super comfy and the bathrooms were small but we worked with it. My husband is 6'5 and had some trouble getting in and out of the shower. With all of the windows open and the fans running we were afraid to leave the house open to go on our excursions, but we did and had no problems. The only hiccup we had with our stay was at the San Diego Zoo, when our car was broken in to. That was a bummer. All and all, it was a wonderful trip, a great house, and some wonderful memories for our 2013 family vacation!
A guest from Tonto Basin, AZ recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2013 Great family house - kid and pet friendly. Love the bright colors used for interior decoration. We walked to beach in just a few minutes.
David C. from Tucson, AZ recommends this property. Stayed for 13 days in March, 2013 This was our third trip to Puert Azul, and it won't be our last. This is a wonderful house in a great location, and Seabreeze always takes good care of us.
A guest from Vail, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 9 days in February, 2013 This home is very spacious, larger than we expected from the photos, and the fenced back yard is great. Only a small parking lot separates the house from LaJolla Blvd,so while in the yard, the street noise is considerable, but it is quiet inside the house. We were concerned about parking on the street, but had no problems, although summer guests may have more issues. The house was spotless and the kitchen well equipped, with the exception of no garbage disposal.
David C. from Tucson, AZ recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2012 This house is great for both rest and fun. You are close to just about every attraction, but it's also so comfortable you can spend days sitting and reading and relaxing. A great place!
A guest from Moorpark, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2012 My family of 5 really enjoyed our stay at the 521 Fern Glen property. It was bright and spacious inside with a nice backyard, clean, within walking distance of downtown, and just a couple blocks from the beach. The home is located in a pleasant neighborhood, which allowed our middle-school aged children to venture to the beach by themselves. This was a very pleasant and enjoyable place to stay.
A guest from Oslo, Norway does not recommend this property. Stayed for 21 days in June, 2012 I liked the space and the courtyard. Location to beach and villige was fine. But this is and old and slitent beachhouse, very simple and I think we paid to much for this vacationexperience. Did not have any contact propertymanagement, even if they said they would come by. Conclusion was not value for money.
Property Manager Response: Response from Seabreeze Vacation Rentals, LLC We are very sorry to hear that this guest did not enjoy their stay. Readers of this review will hopefully note that all other reviewers of this house had a very enjoyable experience.
A guest from Wiesbaden, Germany recommends this property. Stayed for 15 days in November, 2011 Very clean and comfortable house with a perfect location close to everything. We loved our La Jolla vacation and can't wait to come back and hopefully stay here again. Thanks!
Reviewed by: Rudi L. recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in October, 2011 Passed the clean test. Could use an alarm clock or 2, can't call the front desk for wake-up call. Adjust fridge so that the door swings closed by itself.
Fleeing the AZ July Heat, this Retreat Exceeded Our Expectations by a Mile
A guest from Phoenix, AZ recommends this property. Stayed for 76 days in May, 2011 We parked the car and didn't drive again for 4 full weeks at this lovely beach cottage. The location was perfect for us! Large church parking lot and tall hedgeline buffer this cutie house from La Jolla Blvd. Less than 2 blk walk to Windnsea Beach and many other beaches. Everyday, we walked to beaches, the town and every possible convenience incl. groceries, restaurants (so many fabulous places to eat) by the dozen, boutiques, museum, ice cream/yogurt, coffee houses, comedy store, bookstores, pharmacies, tailors, galleries, tennis courts, running track, Seal Beach (really called Children's Beach) etc. This and the surrounding streets teem with beautiful cottages and mansions. So much to see. In the house, the rooms are big and just as pictured. The main room is my favorite with its high beamed ceiling and comfy couches. The kitchen is fully stocked with every day-to-day flatware, cooking, and dish/cup/mug need. Every part of the house was spit-spot upon entry and topped with a beautiful vase of fresh cut sunflowers. Kitchen and full bath counters are vintage 50s-60s style and create a cool vibe. Modern gas stove worked great. Dishwasher worked great as well. The fridge was so clean, it looked like it had never been used. We managed just fine with the 1 full bath (generously stocked with fresh clean beach and bath towels). We usually had 5-6 guests and had no problem sharing the big bathroom for showers. Laundry closet and baths include the basic cleaning supplies and tools (or you can request/pay for maid service, though we opted to just clean after ourselves). The WiFi worked perfectly -- our college-aged teens were able to do online summer school classes without a single hiccup from any part of the house. So many places to dine and spread out. The bedroom mattresses were extremely comfortable, and bed linens were super clean, fresh and in great supply -- plenty of pillows and extra comforters. Lots of seating throughout house and
