This two bedroom, two bath comfortably furnished unit is filled with great books and offers fun and relaxation. Spend a quiet afternoon in the living room enjoying the sweeping ocean views, cool Pacific breezes, and world famous La Jolla sunsets. Or, walk down to the beach and explore the tide pools and sandy beaches just 100 feet from your front door. In addition, the world famous Seal beach is just a block away.

The master bedroom boasts a queen bed, ocean views and breezes, and a private bathroom while the second bedroom has a Queen bed and a shared bath. Stayed for 5 days in March, 2013 The condo was exactly as pictured and as expected--thanks partly to one on-line reviewer who clarified the view being out side windows. But that was fine! My only complaint was the customer service. I had to remind them to email me entry instruction; then they never explained how to leave the key; this was after emails/texts/phone calls. They never returned calls, despite polite voicemail emphasizing customer service. It was okay since nothing major was wrong, but what if we had gotten locked out or needed something? The info sheet in the condo was out of date. All in all, a fine little condo, but rental service needs some tightening up. |

Stayed for 28 days in August, 2012 The overall appearance was dirty, old worn furniture, 20 year old T.V's and bad cable reception. Towels and sheets are not professioally laundered or clean. The location is great, but very noisy. It is between two streets with lots of traffic. We complained to management about the carpet and towels and they did respond. the carpetys were cleaned and new yowels delivered. The cleaning crew is mediocre at best. The beds were not dressed and coordinated. Overall not acceptable for this price range. The only washer dryer is 5 floors down in the basement and that is coin operated! The doors on the kitchen cabinets are falling apart and disgusting. |

We loved being directly across a small street from the beach. The kids loved it! The condo is not all that big, but big enough and the location makes up for it. It had everything we needed. Having the reserved parking in the garage was so nice. We are thinking of doing the exact same vacation again next year at this same place. |

Although not luxurious, the condo was clean & comfortable. The kitchen could use some renovation, and i did see a few bugs crawling around. It would also be helpful to know that there is no shampoo/soap in the unit, so i could've brought it along. It was spacious and was the perfect size for our two kids & my husband & I. Stayed for 31 days in February, 2012 Had a wonderful vacation in #503: 1- This condo is so close to the Village, just a short walking distance (note: there are semi-steep roads to navigate if walking is a problem) to shopping, churches, and restaurants. 2-It is high enough to have the Ocean view just outside the kitchen window, something not available with the rear apartments on the lower floors. 3-It has a garage parking space indoors, a feature cherished in La Jolla. 4-Very comfortable accommodations in a comfy condo. |

Stayed for 7 days in November, 2011 The location of the property was amazing - ocean views to the north and south with waves rolling in right outside the windows. The parking right in the building with direct indoor access was very convenient as parking is impossible in the area. It was easy to walk to La Jolla in 10 minutes to all the restaurants, shops and cafes in town. The Seal Cove was right out the door to the right, about 5 minutes down the beach. Everything in the condo was neat & clean and the extra beach towels were a nice touch. The furnishings were simple and nautical themed and the kitchen was fully stocked. The master bedroom had a very comfortable DUX bed and a nice infrared heater in the bathroom. Having a laundry downstairs was also a nice convenience. |

Mixed feeling but overall good stay.. A guest from Bellevue, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2011 This is our second time in this La Jolla location for our vacation but two different property. Now, I can say I can compare the expierence. Reservation= very difficult to get a hold of. It seems as though she was never in the office but rather on the "go" all the times I had called her. When she didn't get back to me she left me VM stating she had a doctor's appt ect ect... We probably exchanged 50 emails and it took longer than expected. I got to the point where I was getting fraustrated and had my husband take care of it. When we got our confirmation email about where to find our keys to the condo, she missed adding the info about had to call the oncall manager on the day of arrival. Thank goodness he answered his phone to give us direction on where to the garage. Once we arrived the condo was still dirty, housekeeping had not come. Grrrrr... We are family of four with two little kids, the windows that looks out to the view had no screen, mind you we are on the 5th floor, very unsafe to open the windows. Especially when we paid extra for the view. I mentioned all this to the property manager he was on it right away as far as housekeeping, It ruined our first day our stay, especially my daughter needed a nap but couldn't since housekeeping was there. We did get a refund of our cleaning fee but really it should have been more. The screen problem was solved by having the manager putting up a two screens out of five windows two days before we were due to leave during our seven night vacation. Love the location and the actual condo but I wish it would have gone more smoothly. Very fraustrating! |

Stayed for 5 days in August, 2011 Property is in a good location although there is limited view of the ocean (as advertised). The balcony overlooks the road at the back so is not inviting. Decor and general condition is "tired" and needs some upgrading. Ceiling to floor mirror walls make it look very dated. Somewhat overcrowded with furniture (eg the large TV cabinet in the main bedroom) and the agent certainly did a good job making the unit look more spacious, sleek and up to date than it was. Although the unit was tidy and ready it lacked a proper clean - blinds very dusty and all the ceiling fans had thick layers of black dirt on them so we could use them as it would have spread that dirt over the bed. There were details in the welcome book suggesting beach chairs and toys in the garage but this must be out of date as there weren't any. We had a great time in the area but the unit was the most disappointing aspect of our vacation. We booked last minute and it was not as expensive as some places so perhaps you get what you pay for although I'd expect the basic cleanliness to be included at the price we paid. |

Stayed for 2 days in May, 2011 We stayed at this condo in the beautiful village of La Jolla and of all the vacation rentals we have stayed in, this one was by far our favorite. The location was absolutely superb...just steps from the gorgeous La Jolla Cove with its great walking paths, seals, pelicans and green spaces. Additionally, we were just a few short blocks to the center of the village with all its great shops and restaurants. While the condominium didn't directly face the ocean, there were side windows in the kitchen, living room and master bedroom which afforded ocean views and allowed the luxury of falling asleep to the sounds of the soothing surf. Size wise the condo was just about right...not too big and not too small. The rooms were well laid out, with the kitchen, living and dining areas open to each other. This made it easy to cook and chat with each other at the same time. The rental was well stocked with everything needed to cook even elaborate meals. The nautical decor was warm and welcoming. The bedrooms and bathrooms were well designed with ample storage for your personal things. We would not hesitate to recommend this rental to anyone wanting a great La Jolla vacation experience. |

But the condo is extremely dated in kitchen and all of its equipment and utensils, the wireless internet required re-booting 3-5 times at each attempt to use, the bath towels could use replacing, and we were shocked to see outdated "tube" televisions at this price level. Operations manager was responsive and courteous, but the Sea Breeze reservations rep was hit or miss from start to finish. |

Our experiences have ranged from fabulous to okay. This was perhaps our second to worst rental experience. The location of unit 503 is indeed wonderful. Very central to everything in La Jolla and a lovely coastal view (from outside of the building). The unit was clean on a surface level - counters were clean, the fridge and bathrooms were clean - however, the carpets were stained and filthy looking. There were silverfish scurrying about. The furniture (particularly the upholstered chairs and a red couch in the living room) were worn and dirty and frankly looked like items rescued from a street corner. The beds and bedding were truly frightening - old, worn and stained. I know you won't use this review to "Help fellow travelers'' but I really hope you take this criticism as an opportunity to do better by your vacation renters. I feel misled and I feel as though your company doesn't really care about the comfort or health of your renters. I would challenge you to spend a night in this unit to find out firsthand how your renters might feel. |
