Everything about this home was a treat - beautiful location, breathtaking view, wonderful lanai and pool area, very comfortable home. We enjoyed every minute of our stay here and can't wait to return! The home is located in a peacefully quiet neighborhood...but just minutes from the Kahaluu snorkel beach and a short drive away from Ali'i Drive and downtown Kailua-Kona. Great base for exploring the Kona coast. It was wonderful to return to a beautiful home away from home after snorkeling, whale watching, and beach-going. Enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and dining on the lanai. Don't miss the nearby (10 miles?) South Kona Fruit Stand.West Hawaii Property Services was easy to work with and professional. Only one minor problem our whole trip - hot tub wasn't heating upon our arrival. Due to the Christmas holiday and our decision not to call the "emergency" number on the holiday, it took a couple days to get in touch with the rental company, but they did send someone out promptly to tend to the hot tub after the holiday.The pictures do not do this home justice. It is a truly beautiful place. It was a treat for our small family of 3, but it would be equally comfortable for a bigger or extended family/friends traveling together.Mahalo! |

Another perfect year in Paradise! A guest from Murrells Inlet, SC recommends this property. Stayed for 30 days in November, 2012 We spend an entire day traveling from our little town in South Carolina to Kona...this was our 20th year. This was our second year occupying Blue Hawaii and it really changed the trip. No longer were we traveling to Kona.....we were going home to Blue Hawaii. From the moment we opened the door we felt like we were home. This house is beyond compare; perfect in every way. As with every rental we did have a maintenance issue; the A/C decided to stop working but WOW....you would have thought the A/C was out in Cindy's own home. She is a wonderful,caring rental manager, one of the best. This house changes your vacation; from drinking morning Kona coffee on the lanai to having a glass of wine watching the sunset you find that you are reluctant to leave. Dinners on the lanai are so perfect, prepared in the most amazing kitchen, that you are reluctant to dine in one of Kona's fabulous restaurants. The pool area is especially lovely, with sweeping views of the Pacific. The management company was extremely responsive and professional. Questions or problems were resolved in a matter of hours. There are two to four stairs between the garage entry, living areas, and bedrooms, so the home may not suit everyone. We appreciated the separate central air conditioning units for each room. Overall, a great house in a very safe, convenient neighborhood. |

The property management company said,"you will enjoy BignBlue it's very special," and the did not lie! The property was wonderful, the view amazing, the pool and hot tub were fantastic. We have not one bad thing to say about this. The location was close to the highway and groceries/ restaurants. Kailua is only 8 minutes away. We will definitely be back, it was worth every dime! The pictures can't even capture how spectacular this is, but they sure don't overstate it. If you're considering this house, do it, you won't be disappointed. |

It is hard to find a more perfect home.... coupled with the fact that it is on a Tropical Island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean..... Paradise. The entire back wall of the house (master bedroom, living room, and dining room) is floor to ceiling glass with the most incredible view. We had breakfast on the lanai each morning and watched all the little boats as they headed out. The house is in a very nice gated community with lovely homes perched on the side of the hills. 10 Minutes down the hill to the shoreline. Loved the farmer's market. |
