I live in Kona and rented this condo for my parents for their wedding anniversary visit. The condo was very comfortable as nice Hawaiian breeze swept through the rooms. The lanai was spacious and the Murphy Bed in the second bedroom was a great set up for two grand daughters. The daughters loved the pool which was heated!!(yes, pool gets cold here in Hawaii during winter season!). The resident manager was nice enough to heat up even more so kids enjoyed the pool without any sneezes.The kitchen was nice size and the unit was clean. The location was also great. Close to beach, shopping and golf.I highly recommend this condo.

We rented the condo for 13 nights in January 2013.Location is great but you will need to take the bus to get to the busy parts of Kona.you can walk to the Sheraton to see the nightly viewing of Manta Rays,about 10 minutes.If you lile to run or walk this is a beautiful starting point for either as you are 2 minutes from Alii Drive which is the main tourit drive in Kona.

The 304 Keauhou Palena unit is at a second floor of a fourplex. This entire develpment consists of a number free standing fourplexes with two units at the ground floor and two at the upper floor. Large lanai faces the 16th fairway. It is a very quiet and peaceful location. The interior is of older vintage but clean and well maintained. It has a plug-in internet connection, which may not be the case for the other units at Palena. The kitchen is well equipped with dishes and utensils. The rental agent (Cindy) was helpful and knowledgeable. Overal, we had a great stay in Jan and Feb 2012 and would like to come again.
