Kona Coast Resort is one of the most spectacular locations on the Kona Coast. And this is one of the best condos in the complex. Enjoy the sounds of birds singing in the morning while having your Kona coffee and you relax here in the evening watching a Kona sunset from your lanai.There is a new 42" LCD TV the living room and each bedroom is equipped with a 32" LCD TV. All have DVD players. Wood floors and air conditioning will add to your comfort however with all the extra windows in this end unityou will be able to enjoy the feel of the soft kona breezes. There is nothing like it. It is better than a massage. If you must workWIFI is available at no additional charge. The condo is approximately 1500 sq ft with lots of windows to allow the wonderful Kona winds to refresh you after a day of sightseeing. The ceramic tiled lanai offers some of the best views of the Kona Coast that you will find. We could go on and on about this special place but come visit and find out for yourself.There is a Cal king bed in the master bedroom and 1 queen bed and 1 extra-long twin bed in the second bedroom. kona coast resort Jamie M. from Lawndale, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 10 days in April, 2013 I am a prior owner at the KCR so very familiar with the property location & amenities. The room overall was basically as advertised however the room was extremely filthy. the floors appear to have not been thoroughly cleaned in a long time, the beds probably required replacement years ago & the furniture was old, dirty, uncomfortable & outdated. Overall the room it's outdated & needs major updating. lastly my wife and niece came home with a staph infection which according to the doctor could have been caused by the linens not being clean or some other environmental contact |

Superb Vacation rental condo on Kona Hawaii Linda W. from Grainger, IN recommends this property. Stayed for 10 days in March, 2013 This was our second time to the Hawaiian Islands, but our first time to the Big Island. After much research and viewing details and pictures of places to stay, we settled on Kona Coast Resort and couldn't have been happier.It was exactly as pictured in the Hawaii Revealed Big Island book, and their sister website where you can actually see videos. By the way that book is a must have for anyone visiting the islands. Wonderful unbiased info.One of the requirements for us was windows on as many sides as possible. This was an end unit and there were windows in every room except the bathrooms. It was 2BR,2 Bath,1500 Sq ft. Nice layout and lots of great sunset views from, the huge lanai.This condo was the most well-equipped also. It was a privately owned unit, and the owners thought of everything a guest might need!There were flat screen TVs in each BR and the Great room. Spare BR also had an XBox 360. There was free WiFi and all of the routers and stuff you would need for a laptop.The grounds were very well landscaped and tended. We enjoyed being able to walk on the paths around the grounds, and also the 2 swimming pools. The one nearest us was the "Quiet pool" and was great for people our age without kids. There was another pool for families with children, in front of the restaurant/bar. We ate at the restaurant one night and it was okay. We were not impressed and did not go back.The condo is within walking distance or about 3 minutes by car to a little shopping plaza that had a grocery store, drug store, Subway, a few shops, a movie theatre, and a little Italian restaurant as well as an upscale restaurant and bookstore. The Village was about 15-20 minutes away, so easily accessible on a daily basis also.There were also many areas where there were nice Weber gas grills for cooking out. They were well lit as well.It was a great vacation, and we would definitely go back to this unit. |

Home Away From Home in Paradise A guest from Santa Ana, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2012 What a great condo to spend our wonderful Hawaiian vacation in. It literally is like your own home away from home. The place is beautiful, very clean and has great views of the ocean and sunsets. The beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, mats, boogie boards, snorkel gear made our beach outings that much nicer and saved us on rental gear. I'm looking forward to returning here on future vacations. |

There is nothing that you would possibly need to buy but your food. They have ice chests, boogy boards, chairs, umbrellas and snorkle gear right there for you to use. It is so big that you are not stepping on each other. Love it there and would recommend it for a wonderful Kona experience. Close to shopping and entertainment as well. |
