chill on the beach Dennis K. from San Antonio, TX recommends this property.
Stayed for 5 days in December, 2015 My family of ten stayed at White Sands Cove over the holidays and had a great time. Located on the beach north of San Pedro, our rooms were very comfortable and nicely decorated and furnished to reflect the surroundings. San Pedro and lots of restaurant choices were nearby, just a golf cart ride away. The staff was very good and took care of all our needs. They also arranged interesting reef adventures for us. We all enjoyed our stay at the resort.
Belize Round 2 A guest from Fallston, Maryland recommends this property.
Stayed for 11 days in November, 2015 The staff was very welcoming and White Sands is a beautiful place north of town. We stayed in the treehouse this trip and we enjoyed the extra space much more than the ocean front condos...We know this is contrary to popular belief, but being that this is our second time we really enjoyed it. Definitely will return.
Best Place EVER A guest from Brooklyn, NY recommends this property.
Stayed for 7 days in June, 2015 I had the best time at White Sands. The staff is incredibly helpful and is invested in making your vacation the best it can be. The layout and small scale of the resort fosters community. It's the best vacation I've ever had!
Belize Getaway A guest from Washington, Missouri recommends this property.
Stayed for 4 days in February, 2015 The experience was great once I made my decision. The staff at WSC made arrangements for our short flight to the island from Belize City and was on hand to answer any questions after we arrived.
Treehouse at White Sands Cove Resort on Ambergris Cay, Belize A guest from Bridgehampton, NY recommends this property.
Stayed for 7 days in February, 2015 The management was friendly and very helpful in securing our reservation and then transportation from the mainland to the Cay, and arranging excursions- we were very satisfied with our stay there. It was a bit farther from town than we expected, though, but we got good exercise bike riding into San Pedro. You can also rent a golf cart for about $55 USD per day. A word of caution, our only complaint was that there is no beach there, as with most places on the cay. We are used to nice sandy beaches where you can walk out and swim, and there is a great deal of seaweed and eelgrass which makes it icky for getting out there. All resorts have docks to get you out past the muck but it's still not as nice as wading out from the beach. If you love wide, clean, sandy beaches, Ambergris Cay is NOT for you. We snorkeled several times, always getting a boat ride out to the reef at various sites. We hired Donny from Mystical Adventures for a morning snorkel at Mexico Rocks and loved it. When you sign up for a snorkeling tour be sure to ask how much hand-holding is done. We are experienced snorkelers and resented sitting in the boat for 15 minutes while the guide explained how to put on a mask! The all-day snorkel sail with Searious was very nice- three snorkel stops and a beach picnic and all the rum punch, rum and coke or rum and rum you can drink if you're into that. We stayed one week, and felt that was just about long enough if you're staying on the cay. If you want to go to the mainland to explore ruins and other activities ten days to two weeks is probably better.
Loving this place! Karl H. from Colorado Springs, CO recommends this property.
Stayed for 5 days in September, 2014 My wife and I loved this place! As avid travelers we wanted to find a place that would give us a great experience but not insulate us from the culture of the people of Belize. The managers were amazing as was the service and accommodation! We rarely, if ever, say this but we want to come back here to this exact place (and will!) soon. With all of the other places in the world to see, this place just was that good that it makes us compelled to visit again. Relaxing! Great drinks! Good people!
The Best Vacation EVERIII A guest from San Antonio, TX recommends this property.
Stayed for 5 days in September, 2014 I would give WSC a 5 star rating and recommend it to anyone that wants a quiet getaway in a beautiful setting. We did stay there during the off season so my rating is strictly based on the time of yr we went. Our room was immaculate and well stocked. The managers, Kevin and Heather were very accommodating and were always there to get what we needed or to recommend a good restaurant. They also took care of all of our diving reservations which was awesome! The resort is in a perfect location, just north of the town of San Pedro but renting a golf cart allows easy access if you do want to venture away for the resort. The rest of the staff was also wonderful...Teri, Doris, Eva and Estelle were so friendly and took such good care of us. I would highly recommend this resort if you want out of the hubbub of the town.
great time Lilly B. from Union, recommends this property.
Stayed for 9 days in August, 2014 It was fantastic. The hospitality, service, and management were great. Terry, Heather and Kevin were amazing. The property is gorgeous and immaculate. They staff was a wealth of info on what to do. They dealt with a great dive team. Everything was at our fingertips. Very relaxing and all around just amazing. Although you had to take the boat to town, there were great places just a walk down the beach for variety of food. Best drink prices were right here! We both loved our stay.
Beautiful beach condos right off the barrier reef! Lauren G. from San Francisco, California recommends this property.
Stayed for 6 days in July, 2014 We absolutely loved our stay at WSC! We chose this location in particular because of the in suite kitchen. We did not take up a golf cart rental for our stay but, the hotel offered complimentary beach cruisers which made for a nice bike ride to downtown San Pedro (~20 min bike ride if your up for it!). The staff was very friendly and recommended great restaurants in the area. Hidden Treasure was our favorite dinner restaurant and we often stopped by the downtown Bakery (Annie's or The Baker) . The barrier reef is just a 15 minute kayak ride (kayaks are also complimentary with your stay) so you can explore some of the smaller reefs and colorful fish without a needing a guided tour.
A. Jewel that sparkles. Denny A. from Bullhead City, Arizona recommends this property.
Stayed for 7 days in August, 2013 The room had everything you need including wifi. The grounds were very well maintained and the management was excellent. They were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and fairly priced. We walked the beach and this resort SPARKELED in comparison to all others.
?Home Away From Home? Victorio B. from Jacksonville, NC recommends this property.
Stayed for 7 days in July, 2013 We have recently returned from the heartland of the Maya. Along with our unforgettable experiences of roaming and zipping through its lush tropical forest, exploring the Mayan ruins, fishing and snorkeling off the coast of Ambergris Caye, and eating delicious meals with new found friends, this vacation is one we will cherish forever. We would like to extend a special thank you for the staff of White Sands Cove Resort (Ward, Marlon, Doris, Diane, Bernie, Louis, Miguela) for making our stay pleasurable. The resort was perfectly located in front of a spectacular view of the Ambergris Caye. You can feel the warm ocean breeze massaging through your whole body as you sit down and relax. We stayed at the tree house, which was fully furnished and kept cleaned every day. When we return for our second trip, we will definitely stay in one of the condominiums. They are located closer to the pool, bar, and the ocean. Although it was my first time fishing and my wife?s first time snorkeling, Louis, our guide from the White Sands Dive Center, made it enjoyable for the both of us. His friendly and outgoing attitude made us both feel at ease. Doris (the resort?s bartender and host) and Ward and Marlon (resort?s managers) welcomed us with smiles and open arms. Ward kept us posted on everything. We couldn't get enough of Miguela's cooking. Wow! Top notch meals. The resort?s family pets, Chico and Chica, kept us entertained. Last but not least, thank you for the resort?s extended guests, AG and Kay, for their endless hospitality.Victor and Erica Basbas from Jacksonville, North Carolina
Nice Place to Stay in San Pedro A guest from Landenberg, PA recommends this property.
Stayed for 4 days in March, 2013 A very nice location and experience. The only strange thing was that our apartment did not have a door on the bathroom. You could shut the door to the living room and the bedroom and gain some privacy but I found it odd. Managers were really nice, beautiful tropical location. Woman working at bar was kind of unfriendly.
A Little Piece of Paradise A guest from Yakima, WA recommends this property.
Stayed for 14 days in February, 2013 The property: immaculate, everything is swept, raked, cleaned daily. The people: amazingly helpful and pleasant, and work very hard, long hours. The restaurant: good food, Must remember it's a poolside bar and not a full-service restaurant so each order is cooked individually and takes a long time. The Treehouse is private and clean, but minimally furnished. Comfy king bed, but small bedroom and bath. Recommend add chest of drawers for clothes and toiletries, pads for kitchen chairs or softer chairs, more water glasses (there were 2), and especially a comfy chair and ottoman for the living room. The grounds, pool, and beach are stunningly beautiful and we loved every minute. Many thanks to Marlin, Doris, Ben and Nikki for making it so special. We will be back.
Weekend in Paradise Jody N. from Atlanta, Georgia recommends this property.

We'll be back A guest from Yakima, WA recommends this property.
Stayed for 12 days in February, 2012 Everything at WSC was wonderful, but especially the service. Unfortunately we had a family emergency at home and had to leave after only 2 days there. Marlon was amazing in his efforts to facilitate our early departure, even lending us his cell phone overnight so our family could reach us easily from the U.S. He helped with everything! The resort itself is charming, clean, convenient and we can't wait to return.
Great place Ryan F. from Dallas, Texas recommends this property.
Stayed for 3 days in September, 2011 Can't think of enough good things to say about White Sands Cove. It was exactly what we wanted. Great service, great rooms, great quiet location north of the city. Marlon the property manager was incredibly helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
