This lovely beach home, full of history, is part of a private family enclave, which include a 13th century watch tower built for the Spanish troops that occupied this part of Tuscany. The home sits right on the beach in a privately owned beachfront hamlet which is comprised of three separate homes, one being the tower (which can also be rented). This home has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and is perfect for family vacations. Ansedonia is easily accessible from Rome, and is located near the Saturnia spa, Capalbio,and all of the Etruscan towns such as Tarquinia, making the property a perfect position to explore the surrounding countryside, or even for day trips to Florence and Siena. Nearby Orbetello offers shopping and a new 18 hole golf course and spa, numerous restaurants and a movie theater.
The Villa is part of the Torre Tagliata Tower complex and enjoys its own privacy with a wonderful inner courtyard for lounging and also al-fresco dining. There is a large living room, dining room, and eat in kitchen on ground level. This charming farmhouse is decorated with family antiques and has all of the comforts of a lived in and loved home. There are fly screens on all of the windows throughout the house and a large ceiling fan, not visible in the photo, in the living room. Each bedroom upstairs has its own air conditioning unit. The area of Ansedonia is known for its Etruscan establishment, Cosa, where on the hilltop there is a museum and remains of these ancient people.

Maid service of 2 hours 3 times per week (Mon-Wed-Friday) is included in the rental cost.
There is also a 38 foot boat, day cruiser, which is available for rental with a captain for your stay.
