BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Lone Pine Lodge is a great base camp for exploring the Yellowstone area. It?s just 8 miles to the national park entrance, is surrounded by national forest trails for snow mobiling, hiking and mountain biking, and is a short drive to a quiet cove on Hebgen Lake. With a living room upstairs and a family room on the lower level, it's comfortable home for a large group.

BEDROOMS AND BATHS: The lodge has four bedrooms, a bonus room with king bed and armoire, and three and a half baths. The main level has a bedroom, plus bonus room each with a king size bed. They share one and a half baths on the main level. The lower level has three bedrooms, two with king size beds and the third with a queen and a twin. These bedrooms share two full baths.

KITCHEN: This is a good kitchen for a crew as it opens to the living room, the bar and the dining area. It?s fully equipped with all stainless appliances, a smooth top electric range, and lots of small appliance extras like a crock pot, mixer and blender.

DINING AREA: The dining table seats eight comfortably and the bar accommodates another three for meals. There is also a picnic table on the front deck for enjoying outdoor meals.

LIVING ROOM: The cozy livingroom has a gas fireplace, a 36? flatscreen HD TV with satellite service and comfy leather sofas.

FAMILY ROOM: The lower level has a family room with two couches and an overstuffed chair where your crew can do puzzles, play games or watch TV after a day of exploring.

SETTING, ACREAGE, AND VIEWS: Lone Pine Lodge is in a small vacation home neighborhood about 8 miles west of West Yellowstone, which is the West entrance to Yellowstone National Park. It sits on one half acres and enjoys incredible views of Lionhead Mountain and other peaks along the Continental Divide. You?re likely to see elk, moose, and maybe even a bear in this beautiful wild area!

OUTDOOR AMENITIES: A deck on the front of the home has a porch swing for enjoying the sunset over the mountains and a picnic table for your outdoor meals. There?s also a large back yard that backs up to little Denny Creek.

ACTIVITIES NEARBY: In winter you can snowmobile right from the house and get onto hundreds of miles of groomed snowmobile trails. If you prefer Nordic skiing, West Yellowstone?s Rendezvous Trails are a short drive away, and you can explore Yellowstone Park by snowcoach. In summer there?s hiking, mountain biking, fishing on blue ribbon streams, boating on Hebgen Lake and of course ? day trips into Yellowstone Park. There?s so much to do!
