If you are looking for privacy and views look no further! This cabin is set on 20 pristine acres that backs up to national forest land! The cabin perched above Lake Cle Elum with spectacular views of the lake and Mountains!
Grandview Hideaway is your private destination for a little rest and relaxation while taking in the spectacular views of Lake Cle Elum and the Cascade Mountains! The cabin is perched above the lake that backs up to national forest land. During the winter you can snowmobile directly from the cabin to over 200 miles of groomed trails and back country powder bowls! The summer offers a multitude of activities from jet skiing/boating on the lake to hiking and biking into the pristine back country!
The cozy cabin boasts 2 Bedrooms and a ladder leading to a loft off the great room. Both main floor bedrooms have Queen Beds. Up in the great room loft there is another Queen Bed. The loft is accessible via a bookshelf style ladder. There is a second loft off the main entrance that is accesible via a pull down ladder that is great for kids in sleeping bags. The real wood burning fireplace is the centerpiece of the great room. The cabin has WiFi Internet Access for those of you that can't leave work at home! You'll also find a stereo system with a CD Player and IPod jack. The bathroom is very unique with a whirlpool bathtub and a heated, bidet toilet!
Grandview Hideaway has all the comforts of home including a washer/dryer, gas range/cooktop. The cabin has a Flatscreen TV w/DVD (no cable or satellite service). Just off the great room is a large deck with unbelievable views of the lake and mountains. Once you enter the home you'll want to kick off your shoes, start up a fire and just sit back in the comfortable great room and take in the views!!
The cabin is located in the private, gated community of Morgan Creek on the north side of Lake Cle Elum. During the summer months you can enjoy the community lake access with a beach side log gazebo. The lake offers excellent fishing, boating, waterskiing and jet skiing. There's a boat launch just 2 miles down the road. The Cle Elum River is just a short 1 mi drive from the cabin!
The paved road to the cabin is fairly steep. It is plowed during the Winter, but 4 Wheel Drive with good all terrain tires or chains is recommended during the snowy season!
Please bring your own firewood! Firewood is not supplied at this cabin.

Thanksgiving at the Grandview Hideaway Birgit E. from Poulsbo, WA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in November, 2012 We loved the location and the magnificent panoramic view! The cabin is beautiful, spotlessly clean, has a well equipped kitchen and wonderful comfortable beds. We only had one problem, and that was an awful, headache-inducing smell, which started in the bedrooms and on and off wafted through the house during our three-day stay. It seemed to be either insecticide or propane. This did put a damper on our stay. Otherwise the cabin is great. Lives up to the name "Grand View" Leigh A. from Seattle, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2012 We were amazed by the location of this cabin, up on a winding road perched above Lake Cle Elum. Couldn't have asked for a better spot for a summer weekend.The place is well-appointed and we had everything we needed (the kids in particular loved the bidet!). One thing to note is that the main loft (with a bed) is accessible via a "library ladder" and isn't a good place for younger kids. In fact it states it is for adult use only. There is another small loft however with a less steep ladder and twin bed and room for more kids. Plus they have lots of extra bedding.I really hope we have a chance to visit again! Weekend Stay Renee F. from Shoreline, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2012 I recently rented this home for a family vacation. I absolutely loved the view and location of the home! The home is in a very quiet & private spot. The house was clean and beautiful inside. Wendie and Kevin the property managers were great! They were very helpful and nice. I was very disappointed with the loft space though. On the posting it says there is a queen bed in the loft area, but what they fail to mention is unless you are Spiderman and not afraid of heights, it is not a viable option. To get to the bed you need to climb a library style ladder and there is no railing to hold onto to climb all the way up into the loft. No one in my family was willing to try and crawl over the edge to sleep in the loft, so everyone had to try and squeeze into the downstairs beds. I feel if there was a better railing put in for the loft area, this house would be absolutely perfect. Overall I would recommend this house as a beautiful place to stay. Headaches? Reviewed by: Jennifer M. recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in April, 2012 I went up to the property on Fri and got a migrane that day. Not unusual for me except my medication didn't work, which is odd. Saturday, my wife met me up there and she experienced the same thing. She isn't prone to have headaches. Wierd. We've never had issues with guests having headaches in the past. It might have something to do with altitude. I believe the cabin sits at about 2,800 feet. Cold Cabin Mark W. from Everett, WA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in December, 2011 We would like to say we enjoyed the stay at the cabin. We never did get the cabin warm it was we had a cold breeze coming thru. we used up the one bundle of fire logs and made 2 trips to town and $100 for fire logs. The only thing else was the bathroom shower was a joke the water went every were. Everything was great so don't want to be too petty but - unless there was operator error - I don't believe there was gas for the Ken U. from Gig Harbor, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in February, 2011 Otherwise everything was perfect. Winter guests definitely need a 4WD vehicle and even then possibly chains. Getting a dump of snow was awesome but it made the steep and windy hill to/from the cabin a challenge even with our 4WD Jeep. Stayed for 3 days in February, 2011 My husband and I brought our toddler and infant on our vacation stay at Grandview Hideaway and loved it. The cabin has great views, with sliding glass doors in every room to help you enjoy the great scenery around the cabin. We love to cook so the kitchen was great - stocked with cooking and baking utensils. The bunk bed was great fun for our toddler and the cabin has toys, Disney movies, books, and board games for kids to enjoy, which made the stay even better since we couldn't pack a bunch of toys and movies in luggage.
