This charming cottage style home consists of two levels and can be easily converted into a duplex as each level has its own full kitchen and bathroom. Both levels have ceramic tile floors and central air conditioning. The main ground level of the ?Dog House? is an efficiency with a kitchen/living area with a sleeper sofa , dining table, TV and bathroom with shower only. The second half is currently used for storage but can easily be converted into a bedroom and/or living area. Two sets of French doors lead to the spacious deck overlooking Black Sound. A granite table finishes off the deck providing the perfect atmosphere for sunset cocktails and dinners.The second floor consists of two bedrooms, kitchen, living/dining area and bathroom. The bedrooms are equal in size, one features a queen size bed and the second features a bunk bed (full on bottom, twin on top). The living area, dining area and kitchen are open with tongue & groove vaulted ceilings. The kitchen has granite countertops, side by side refrigerator, electric stove, and microwave and is stocked with several small appliances, cookware and utensils. The bathroom is located off the living area and has a tub/shower combo. The living area has a sleeper sofa, wicker sofa, and a few chairs and T.V. It opens up to a small balcony overlooking the calm waters of Black Sound. The large T shaped dock is located steps away from the house allowing you to be close to your boat at all times. There is plenty of deep water at the dock, fresh water, electricity, fish cleaning station and 24,000 lb. boat lift. Catch fish without ever leaving your property, sit and relax with a good book and watch the sun set all while enjoying the cool sea breezes from your own private dock. This private retreat is set back on 1.11 acres of property with lush tropical vegetation and several fruit trees. It also has historical roots as years ago this very property was the site of Green Turtle Cay?s only pineapple cannery. The ?Dog House? is centrally located on the island. The historic town of New Plymouth is just 1.5 miles away offering several grocery stores, restaurants, bars, gift shops, hardware stores, liquor stores, post office, museum, government clinic and primary school and several churches. Long Bay Beach is a 5 minute walk away. The white sandy beach and turquoise colored water invite you to a relaxing day of shelling and breathtaking snorkeling adventures. Leeward Yacht Club & Marina is located right next to the Dog House and offers a fresh water pool available to guests of The Lizard Bar and Grill. The northern end of the island has two resorts, fine dining and more spectacular secluded beaches, snorkeling and surfing spots.
