Tucked in between the San Miguel River and Bear Creek Trailhead, this 2-bedroom condo is close to historic downtown Telluride, Town Park, Gondola and lift #8.
Bedding: King, two twins (split-king), queen sofa-sleeper
Riverside A103 is a single-level two bedroom/two bathroom condominium with an entry at the parking lot level, making it one of the more accessible options in town. Entering the unit, walk down a short hall to the great room with sitting area, dining and full kitchen. In the living room area is a sofa with pull-out queen sleeper, gas fireplace, a 28-inch flat screen TV, DVD and VCR player, cassette tape deck, books, and traditional board games. With picture windows and sliding glass doors, the room opens onto a covered deck above the San Miguel River, with a couple park benches and views that include Mt. Emma across the valley.
At the other end of the room, the kitchen has granite counter-tops and stainless steel appliances, and all the essentials including toaster, coffee-maker, and blender. The small breakfast bar with 3 stools opens to the dining area with a table that seats 6.
Down a short hallway off the living room, to the left is the master bedroom with a king bed and a 26-inch flat screen TV. Lying in bed, enjoy views of Mt. Emma, and open the window to let the river lull you through the night. The en-suite master bathroom has a shower and oversize tub.
The second bedroom has two twin beds that can be made into a king. Just outside the bedroom on the hall is the second bathroom, with large vanity and a steam shower that has a 4-inch step-in.
The condo has its own stack washer/dryer in the hall closet, and wifi with the router in the unit. There is a ski locker just outside the entrance, and small bike rack in the complex parking lot.
Riverside has two outdoor hot tubs for residents' use. Parking is available in the building's lot, permit required, on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Downtown Telluride, gondola and Chair 8 are all within two short blocks of the condo. Town Park is a block to the east. And all the outdoor adventures Telluride offers -- hiking, 4-wheel drive roads, mountain biking, climbing, mushroom-hunting, skiing and snowboarding -- are in your backyard.
