Casa Eskeena is located just over a mile from the historic Santa Fe Plaza. This 3500 sf ft home is located on 2 acres with beautiful mountain views. The living room has a gas fireplace which blends into the dining room. The second great room / den offers a large flat screen TV, DVD?s and a peaceful place to relax. The fully stocked kitchen is the perfect place to hang out and prepare meals; Just off the kitchen is a breakfast nook. Enjoy all the fine furnishings and luxury linens! The Main house has four bedrooms - three bedrooms offer plush king pillow top beds and the fourth has two queen beds. The guesthouse is a spacious one bedroom one bath, with king bed, living room with a queen sofa sleeper and a full kitchen and a washer and dryer. The guesthouse also offers satellite TV, DVD player, WiFi and more... Family Reunion-Casa Eskeena A guest from Dallas, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2012 The house was lovely and large enough for 4 couples. The views were beautiful. It should be noted that the house has multiple levels and stairs inside. Management was evasive, unresponsive, untruthful in contract dealings. Contract was changed after full payment made up to day of and during travel. Very unsettling and frustrating. Paid for one location for 4 nights. Got 3 locations-having to move after 2 nights. Difficult to do with 10 people. |

The home has several levels that made it difficult for our 87 year old relative to get around but she managed. The couple staying in the guest house complained that since there was no air conditioning it was stuffy and warm. |

Seems the house may need some work as far as foundation and cracking. Lovely furnishings and could accomodate 7 women well. Kitchen could have used some additional basics to eliminate the need for the guests to buy everything (tin foil, plastic wrap, basic spices, olive oil, enough coffee to make a coffee in the morning when the guests arrive late in the evening, etc.) Also, its a vacation rental and didn't have a martini shaker. :-) Great property - a few little touches as described above would have made it a 5 star property. |

Also the TV in the main house downstairs was dead so should be repaired. We knew it was getting power, but it would not turn on.We especially enjoyed the family breakfasts with French pastries from Clafontis (your recommendation). |

Amazing house! A guest from Boulder, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in May, 2011 What a fantastic house this is! Large, well-equipped kitchen (all the cooking pots, pans, utensils, etc you'd ever need). Comfortable bedding, sheets, pillows. Clean new-looking furniture. This did NOT feel like a rental. I've rented plenty of homes in the past that were dumping grounds for the owners' older mismatched stuff they didn't want in their primary homes and this is NOT one of those. Hot tub worked. Free wireless internet access worked. Plenty of towels, dishes, etc. Great guestbook with suggested restaurants, activities, events--which was helpful in planning our stay. Quiet neighborhood (we never heard any neighbors) and a short drive to town (5 miles to the plaza). House is well laid out so that the four bedrooms aren't back-to-back. Plenty of privacy for two families sharing the home--or (my future plan) for a small writers' group to host a retreat. Plenty of decks off various parts of the house for sitting quietly, entertaining, etc. Property managers were fantastic! I will definitely be renting this property again. |
