Maria V. from Kerrville, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in April, 2016 House was beautiful! House was clean, beds were comfy, very spacious, and location was great. Plenty of towels were provided and plenty of cookware. Pool was right in front of the house and the beach was down the street. Oustide shower came in handy to rinse off the sand. Management was easy to work with. We had a little trouble with the lockboxes but when we called company they helped us right away. We enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to coming back!
Bonnie S. from Weimar, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in April, 2016 Our group had a blast! This home is beautiful, spacious, and we enjoyed calling it "ours" for the weekend. The fire pit outside was extremely enjoyable, and we spent one night outside for hours just chatting and roasting marshmallows. The ONLY thing that was disappointing was that two of the rooms were separated from the main part of the house: the bunk bed room, and one of the queen rooms were located above the garage with a separate staircase. The master bedroom was located on the first floor of the main house, and upstairs were two additional rooms: one room with a queen bed and bathroom attached, and another room with a queen, a set of bunk beds, and the bathroom was in the hallway. A minor inconvenience, just because we weren't aware of it. However, the rooms were so cozy, the house was stocked with towels and bedding, along with dishes and pans in the kitchen. We enjoyed the sectional sofa and dining room table for our large group. We are already planning next year's trip!
A guest from San Antonio, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in October, 2015 great place to stay this is our 2nd year in this beautiful home. except we had 5 light fixtures out in the kitchen and we had to move the coffee pot two three outlets until we finally found a working outlet on the floor. also the dryer was so noisy we heard it all the way to the 2nd floor. my in laws were not too happy.
A guest from Bergheim, TX does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2015 I know the check in is not until 4:00pm, but was advised if the house was clean we could get in early. Seems like several people got to check in early, but at 3:45pm there was so many people in the small office waiting like I did and finally at 3:50pm they started letting us check in. I really believe the room was clean, but the cleaning people were not communicating to the office. Overall, we liked the house, but I have a 10 month old grandson who is crawling and his hands and feet were black, the floor was not cleaned to my liking. Parking was not easy, we could only part one vehicle in the garage and did get another vehicle in the garage, but could not close the garage door. With big trucks, not a house that works for our family.
Jennifer B. from Austin, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in May, 2015 This house was perfect for our family beach trip! It really accommodated out big family really well and we would definitely book this house again! It was also a plus that the house was really close to the community pool. Great rental!
Debra M. from Marion, Texas does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in November, 2014 We have stayed in Village Walk several times and always have a great time. I was a little disappointed in this house. The on line information was misleading. The extra suite with master and bunk beds was not attached to the main house. Had to go outside to get there. There was only one bedroom downstairs. We had two people who could not do stairs and only one downstairs bedroom. The description was misleading. Also there were several repairs needed to home. Broken chairs in the closet, missing towel racks and many kitchen items without handles, coffee maker that did not work etc. Upstairs MAC computer did not work. We will stay in VW again but will steer clear of this house.
Jason R. from San Antonio, Texas recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2014 This was our first condo rental and we were a little worried about everything. The second we got there we were blown away. Me and my fiancé came down to port aransas for our bachelor and bachelorette party and every one had a blast. I cant say enough about how awesome the property was. We did have a problem logging onto the wifi for some reason no one in our group could log on. That was the only issue that we had and it was not that big of a issue.
A guest from Dallas, TX does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2014 Had to get nice vacation rental folks to move us out - they were very professional and found us a new lovely accommodation. dirty broken appliances, mold though out the washer and broken stove - furniture dirty , has been worn out - not at all like the other houses we have stayed in, in the same complex
A guest from Georgetown, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in July, 2014 We thoroughly enjoyed the rental property. The kitchen was fully stocked. And the linens were good quality and very clean. The location was close to the pool which was convenient. The 2 bar stools were in poor condition as was one of the dining chairs (unusable). Fortunately for the next renters, new bar stools were delivered our last day there. We were not able to get the Apple TV to work. We could've called for assistance but got busy with other activities. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely return to Margaritaville!!!!!
A guest from Sugar Land, Texas recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in March, 2014 We've been to port aransas 2 times before but always stayed at a hotel, it was WELL worth opting to use a house instead. This place was super well kept and we all enjoyed it.
Diane G. from Port Aransas, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in November, 2013 What a wonderful facility for our large family Thanksgiving! Very spacious and well appointed...really enjoyed the fire pit. Everyone was very pleased...get-together was big success. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your property.
Robin M. from Victoria, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in November, 2013 This is an excellent place to stay. We had such a great time last year that we did a do over this year. It will now become a family tradition. The home was very accommodating and inviting. There was adequate outdoor space to gather and when it is warm there is a beautiful pool. Look forward to our visit next year.
Sam A. from Live Oak, Texas recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in October, 2013 This was a great place to stay. Plenty of amenities, space and was very clean. Great place family or adult gatherings. If I had to give a negative it would only be the parking which was a little tight. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.
A guest from Helotes, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2013 This was our second time staying at the Casa Margaritaville and third time staying at the property. The house was a little more run down this year, but very clean. The property needs to be kept up better. Some of the houses look bad and the grass needs to be cut. Overall we enjoyed our stay. We hope to visit again next year.
Angelica C. from El Paso, Texas recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2013 Once a year for my nephews birthday, we like to pick a vacation spot for all 14 of us to reunite (from El Paso, Austin, and San Antonio) and have some family fun. This place was fantastic! We were all able to spend quality time together, while each family having a room to go to and relax (or nap a child). It was a short drive to the beach (less than 2 min), across from the community pool, and had a nice little yard to relax in during the evenings. While the place was very technologically advanced, there were some issues. We couldn't get the wireless keyboard on the computer to work (even after putting in new batteries); also, some of the Apple TVs were missing their HDMI cords or remotes (which we resolved by just transferring them from the other rooms to the living room). But it really wasn't a huge problem, since we spent most of our days at the beach or exploring the island. I've already recommended this place to friends, and the family has spoken about getting together there again sometime in the future. Beautiful house, fully equipped, and great service. Thank you.
A guest from Houston, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2013 This was a great spot for our large family to get together. Just steps from the community pool and a very short drive to the beach access point. Overall we loved this house!
A guest from San Antonio, Texas does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in June, 2013 No close beach access. Only moderately clean upon arrival. Not enough toilet paper or paper towels for our stay.
A guest from Houston, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in April, 2013 The rental process was very easy. However the so called fifth bedroom was basically a closet with two bunkbeds in it, no door, no window. Very small for two children nevermind one adult. Also, we were told by the management company that we could park our boat in the driveway 1. Which was impossible to do and 2. Come to find out that boats are not allowed in the complex. Needless to say we had to pay for a boat slip at the marina. Overall the property was well kept and convenient to everything.
A guest from Comfort, TX does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in October, 2012 Upon arrival we were greeted with roaches both alive and dead. We continued to see roaches throughout our stay. The property was dirty and was not well stocked. The beds were very uncomfortable and overall I would not recommend this property. Parking was limited.
A guest from Fort Worth, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2012 Stayed at the Casa Margaritaville over the Labor Day Weekend....and it was perfect! The beach was perfect, very clean and nice, the water was nice! The house was absolutely great! More then enough room for us. We will abosuletly stay there again.
Joyce A. from San Angelo, Texas recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2012 We liled the location very much. The house was very large and open. We had 11 adult there and we had plenty of room. I would recommend the rental for a lager group.
Reviewed by: A guest recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2012 We loved the open space feel to the house. The high speed internet and cable were great! The only minor problem was all the construction on Eleventh Street.
A guest from Temple, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in July, 2012 Great experience from beginning to end! We love !! Our rental in Village Walk was open and spacious for our family of 15. We will stay at Casa Margaritaville again.
Marisa F. from San Antonio, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2012 We stayed in this home with 13 people. It was comfortable, clean, & cozy! Just know that the outdoor quarters has 1 queen bed, 2 bunk beds, & 1 pull out bed. It was not a problem for us because we have older children. The community pool was conveniently located to the house. Great value!
For a Great Time in Port Aransas Call Port Escapes
Jo Ann Z. from Gallup, NM recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in June, 2012 The house was great !! Great location !! Much better than others we have rented elsewhere. Loved Port Aransas, we will be back. The Zecca's
Reviewed by: Tiffany and Paul B. recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in May, 2012 We loved the house, as there was plenty of room for everyone. We had a handicap young woman with us though that was to stay in the Queen/Bunkbed room "downstairs", but the way the description reads, it was a bit misleading, so it was a bit inconvienent getting her up and down the stairs in the main house, to their room. Also, the parking on that particular row is not made for long wheel base trucks. Overall, we were truly satisfied and happy. Neighbors were great, outdoor sitting area was nice, love the open floorplan in kitchen/dining/living area. One other complaint is the pool by that house was a bit scary looking. The walls of the pool were green/brown, but the water looked clean and the kids enjoyed swimming there. There are two sleeper sofas, but we were only able to locate one set of sheets and only a small afghan, no blankets for the full/quessn sofabeds, so may want to take your own just in case. The beach is a short drive down the road around the corner. Easy access to and from the community of houses. We would definitely stay here again.
A guest from San Antonio, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in April, 2012 We had a family vacation for the 1st time in Port A. Everything was great, just a short drive to the beach. There were some minor repairs needed, which the office did offer to repair ASAP. We are definitely coming back again.
pat and mary jo h. from Wales, WI recommends this property. Stayed for 31 days in January, 2012 We loved the property as we had a varied group. Two of us were there at all times. The kitchen was a little understocked with knives, wine opener, and basic things, but notbad. We loved the bedrooms and bathrooms, and the garage. The house was good for our family.thank you
A guest from Corpus Christi, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in December, 2011 Our stay was wonderful, but just wanted to mention that we ran into a few minor problems. When we checked in, the upstairs apartment's air conditioning was not working, so we immediately had to call a repair guy to come fix it. He arrived promplty and was able to fix it in an hour's time. Second, the water faucet in the kitchen was hardly working, very little water pressure, and it was leaking a bit from where the faucet and counter connect. It was hard to wash dishes with the water running the way it was. Lastly, there was no way to access the beach from the neighborhood - kind of disappointing. Although it was only a short drive to the beach, it would've been nice to be able to access it from our neighborhood, even if it would've been a long walk. Overall pleased, but the fix of these complaints would make the experience much more enjoyable and worry-free.
A guest from San Antonio, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2011 Great common area (kitchen, dining, and living rooms). Because it was so open and spacious, the cooks were able to visit with everyone else while preparing meals. Only complaint is having to drive our cars to and from the beach. Would have been nice if we could have used the boardwalk to the beach.
A guest from Plano, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2011 The pool was very dirty, smelled like chemicals. One thing this place needs is a boardwalk to the beach! I was told this place was in waking distance to the beach. We all had to drive. Other then that we all enjoyed our time!
Ken G. from Keller, Texas recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2011 The bunk bed upstairs had a broken ladder that had been repaired with a bracket. The bracket has a sharp edge that sliced the foot of my nephew climbing into bed. That needs to be rectified asap!
David H. from McKinney, Texas recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2011 This was our third year in a row at Port A. All three have been with Port A Escapes and we've been happy with each of the properties. I'm sure we'll use Port A Escapes again next year. We can't wait to go back. Casa Margaritaville is great for large groups. The main living area (kitchen, living, dining) is very large and open. We never felt cramped with 14 people.
A guest from Austin, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in June, 2011 We had 7 adults and 4 young children. The house was great except that there was no interior access to the upstairs apartment, which meant that the adults could not be together after the children went to bed. Being across from the pool was a big advantage.
Trey M. from Edmond, OK recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2011 The toilet paper and paper towels ran out in about two days. No daily maid service. It didn't take long for the crumbs and sand to build up on the floor, blackening our bare feet. The washer has mold in it, rendering it useless. Other than that, it was really super cute and we had a blast. The home is right by the pool and not far from the beach. Great trip!
A guest from San Antonio, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in April, 2011 We had a few problems with the A/C and a slow response time on the first day of check in, but overall they pulled through, fixed it and the weekend went great.
Sylvia A. from Pleasanton, Texas recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in March, 2011 its an awesome place for rest and relaxation I will definitely be going back!It felt as good as being at home
