Perfect vacation spot with all the amenities of home! Sara L. from Tewksbury, MA recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in May, 2013 We settled into the condo almost immediately. Everything, yes everything, is provided within the condo. Coffee maker, toaster, oven, microwave, even a blender. We were delighted to see that some of the small things you wouldn't think of were there too - like coffee filters, aluminum foil, etc.The location is very far North but there are so many activities nearby! We were busy everyday during our week there and when we couldn't think of what to do, we'd pick up one of the guidebooks that were left at the condo and pick something out. (Thanks for providing those too!)The only thing I would have loved to have would have been air conditioning. Most nights the breeze kept it cool enough but it would have been more comfortable with AC.Oh and when I originally looked at the photos of the place, I thought the scenes through the windows were photoshopped in. They're not!! |

Just a fiew notes of (little) disagreement. Arriving, we had difficult to get on internet. We find by ourselves and before, had nobody to adress the question. Amaaaazing Apartment!! Megan D. from Hove, East Sussex recommends this property. Stayed for 9 days in August, 2012 This apartment is so beautiful. The open plan kitchen/dining and living area is bigger than you think from the photos, and the view stunning. Lovely to have a balcony to take even more advantage of it!! We loved having breakfast outside each morning. The kitchen is very well stocked with all the equipment you could need, and also when we were there had quite a lot of condiments and even some foodstuffs (eg pasta). The smaller bedroom is very nice, great views and has a bathroom (bath with shower over, & toilet) directly opposite it off the corridor, so although its not technically ensuite it almost feels like it is.The master bedroom is phenomenal! Huge room, with stunning huge window, air con, dresser, armchairs, and two large wardrobes which almost feel 'walk-in' from they way they're set. Lovely ensuite shower/toilet room. The apartment feels well cared for and location is great - the whole area is beautiful. Definitely worth walking down the track down the rocks (if you're able to do steep slopes / rocks) down to the sea - you can see lots from rock pools and if you want wade to a tiny beach, directly under the apartment. (probably only possible in summer as apparently there are huge waves in winter).The only downside to our stay, and the reason I haven't given 5 stars for e wry category, is our dishwasher was broken. I was warned by email 2 days befor but told someone would come Monday to fix it. Nobody came, so I called the maintenance contact, and someone came. However they couldn't fix it and a second person who came couldn't either. It seemed the rental company were supposed to have ordered a piece but it couldn't be found? Anyway after that nobody else came for the following week we were there, and nobody from the rental company thought to follow up with us / apologise. So we were hand washing the dishes all week.But really, this holiday and apartment were paradise! |

The unit is a bit outdated but everything was in working order and clean. All things being equal I might try for a unit in bldg 3 or 5 next time though as they seems to be positioned with a slightly better direction for afternoon sun and views. But the unit was clean and for the price (we got a last minute rate that was amazing) I don't have any complaints at all. I would definitely consider renting here again. |
