July 4, vacation
A guest from San Antonio, Texas does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2016 Over all it was fair. Both swimming pools crowded with a bunch of drunk, loud, rowdy, individuals leaving beer cans scattered all over the place. No a very kid friendly environment. The sink was leaking underneath, reported and never fixed. The crisper drawer in the fridge was stuck and very hard to open. The freezer area smelled like shrimp/fish. The master bathroom door and closet door are a hassle to open and close, they block each out, just not right!!
A guest from Ft. Worth, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in May, 2016 This house was clean, organized and worked for our group. It is next to a house being built so there was construction going on. But for the cost and efficiency of this house I would recommend! The management company was very easy to work with!
Christian M. from Laredo, Texas recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in May, 2016 Our family vacation was amazing. This was our first time renting a home in Port A and it didn't disappoint. House was clean, location was great and peaceful. The only issue we had was that the ceiling fan didn't work, we called maintenance and no one showed up. We ended up buying a fan for our stay. Besides that everything else was perfect.
A guest from Floresville, Texas does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in April, 2016 The house it self was very spacious and clean on the inside . But the parking and having access to the beach was an inconvenience. There was also the construction of a home being built right next door. The reason we rented the vacation rental was to be able to walk and not drive to the beach but unfortunately the property that we had to walk thru was private property. That wasnt mentioned on the advertisement of the rental . That was a bummer for us totally. But other than that we had a good time considering the other conditions.
A guest from Lockhart, Texas recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2014 Great place to stay!!! Only thing was room had ants by the kitchen and in tha couch but other than that great stay
A guest from Austin, Texas recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2014 We loved our stay & the house !! We would totally stay there again. We had a change in kids coming- so we needed to change the sheets on one bed - there weren't any extra sheets - so I had to wash & dry the same sheets late at night :(Whoever cleaned the house before us - didn't do a good job. We found long black hairs on the floors & even on the counter & hand towels ~ so I had to stop & clean first - that was a bummer for me !! But - everything else was great about the house & our visit !!
Sean J. from Aledo, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2014 Great house in a great gated neighborhood. The only thing we weren't completely happy with was the parking. Very tight parking situation. Really only room for two cars. We had two cars and a golf cart, so it was tricky for us.
Tammy E. from Fort Worth, Texas recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2014 the house was nice but the picture is deceiving. the flowers in front and on the side are now over grown and you cant use the outside shower due to the plant/bush not being maintained. overall we will use this property rental service and maybe even this house again. i would recommend to a friend. house was clean.
Cynthia C. from El Paso, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2014 This house was great. 3bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms is a great size for a family rental! Close to beach and had a cozy little community pool. Great experience I would rent it again! It had everything we needed!
A guest from Leander, TX does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2013 We had a great time. The inside of the house was immaculate but I do think a few things need to be addressed before the next people come in. The lot next to the casita is so overgrown with weeds which has spread onto the property. We were unable to use outside shower or the barbecue. The air conditioner was overgrown with these weeds. That probably contributed to my son getting into bed the first night and have a roach crawl up his leg. We also had to deal with numerous spiders. Both doors do not close tightly at the bottom corner which also allows bugs to get in. Also the first time we went to use the clothes dryer we had to spend 15 minutes cleaning out the dried on sand. I really hate to complain but I do believe if this property outside was better maintained I would have clicked 5 stars on all the above. I did express these complaints when I checked out to the young lady at the front desk.
A guest from Smithville, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2013 Casita Pina Colada was an excellent place to stay. The house was very well kept and furnished. Only one or maybe two problems, the houses are too close together and there is very limited parking due to the closeness.
Stacy B. from heoltus, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2013 We had a great time and the home served its purpose. There was no broom in the house and the vacuum cleaner didn't work so this made keeping the bottoms of our feet nonsandy a problem. I also really needed a place to sit outside to have my coffee. Considering this was the only house left in the neighborhood we were overall happy. I probably wouldn't recommend the home if visitors had other options to rent but in a pinch this was great. I do want to say that Jake was amazing in helping us get a home last minute.
A guest from Mesquite, Texas recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2013 Everything was great except for the overgrown weeds that we called about, but no one ever came to mow. We had to brave the weeds in order to grill outside every night.
Kristen I. from Gonzales, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in June, 2013 Everything was great except the t.v.'s. They use a dish and only 1 t.v. works out of the 4. The other 3 are connected to the main box and you have to watch whatever the first t.v. is watching. Everything else was GREAT.
James W. from Plano, Texas recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in June, 2013 Good rental. Nice lay out on the ground floor. The property is a little smaller than most, but we were a party of 7; one non-show. It would be really crowded for 10. It was a great stay. Wireless has a good signal compared to other properties at Village Walk. This was our 3rd year a Village Walk. The only draw back is the garage, with washer and dryer does not provide parking for a full size auto; lots of parking near by.
Jason M. from Austin, TX does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in June, 2013 This house is a bit small to advertise as sleeps 10. It's the size of a 3BR apt, with a small kitchen. 2 adults and 4 or 5 kids sure. But if a group of adults try to put 10 in this arrangement it will be stressful. There will be no privacy for most. The master has a nice large bed. The unit and community are nice. It's close to the beach. It's new. If you want to rent this place, keep the number at 6 or 7.
Lisa M. from Boerne, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in September, 2012 The condo was very nice and clean. It was perfect for 7 adults. The parking was a different story, had a hard time with 4 vehicles. Also, no where on the website does it say NO BOATS!! We had 3 and had to pay another 100.00 to use the Marina, which meant everynight unloading all gear!!! Not convenient at all. No one informed me of this till it was to late to cancel. Website needs to updated!!
Terra B. from Albany, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2012 My cousins and I stayed at Casita Piña Colada for 4 nights. We loved it! The kitchen was nicely stocked with pans and utensils. And the house very easily accommodated all 7 of us. We will definitely stay at this house again if it is available.
Susan S. from Austin, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in March, 2012 This is the smallest place we have stayed at Village Walk but it was a nice fit for us away. The kitchen & living area is nice & open & bright. The kids had plenty of room upstairs, there were 6 of them. They could have used more towels though. Only issues-could use more items in the kitchen. Can tell is not owned by a family, just investment property that they are trying to sell so no special touches. Downstairs master shower water pressure stinks & the toilet also stopped working on our visit. This has happened to us in other Village Walk rentals as well.
A guest from Rio, WI recommends this property. Stayed for 32 days in February, 2012 Only complaint is that the car does not fit into the garage because of the washer and dryer located there. There also is no outdoor space and noise from the campground in the early morning was annoying.
Paul S. from Corpus Christ, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in December, 2011 My wife and I stayed here a couple of nights for our anniversary. It's a nice little condo and served our purposes more than adequately.
A guest from San Antonio, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2011 did not fix tm problem. not enough cabinets to put away food. no towel racks in upstairs bathroom. no closets to hang clothes in. The GOOD things, very clean. lots of towels.
A guest from Austin, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in July, 2011 The house is adorable, brand new, and perfect for our group of 6. The only disappointments were that there was no beach access and no outside sitting area at the house. Other than that, great experience and great house!
