Beautiful stone villa set at the gates of the green and wooded dell of Casentino, one of the four valleys which surround the city of Arezzo. The Casentino Valley, placed north of Arezzo, have nowadays become a National Trust of the Natural Reserve of Casentino Forests. The valley, crossed by the River Arno, during the centuries had been a land of armies transit and conquest, one of the most remembered battles is "Campaldino" fought in 1289 between Florence and Arezzo, where also Dante Alighieri struggled together with the Florentine army.
