Stayed for 14 days in March, 2013 We booked this condo, March, 2013, because of the location directly on the beach and because of the views. We were not disappointed. Wonderful location, wonderful views. The condo was well represented in the pictures on the web site. The kitchen was fairly well equipped. We did all our own cooking in the condo, didn't eat out with the exception of a couple lunches. Our biggest complaint would be the beds, pillows and bedding. All were old and needed to be replaced. Mattresses were uncomfortable as were the pillows and the bedding was dated and worn. The sheets were clean as were the towels. Towels appeared to be new and very nice. Would strongly recommend investing in new bedding, would sure increase the comfort and appearance of the bedrooms. |

Worst Vacation Ever A guest from St Paul, MN does not recommend this property. Stayed for 21 days in November, 2012 Loggerhead Cay was under construction the entire vacation. Private unit one floor down under construction. Condo was not clean. Sanibel Accomadation's towards the end of the vacation steam cleaned the carpets, furniture (nasty), removed broken beach furniture, and finally replaced outdoor patio chairs that were entirely rusted. Due to the construction noise we left 5 days early. Asked to be reimbursed $500 dollars for due to all their issues. I would not recommend this property to anyone. It needs a total remodeling and the owners have run it into the ground! I need to take a vacation to get over my worst vacation stay ever!!!! |

It was perfect a lot of time was spent with my little two year old playing on the balcony (which was larger than we expected). Everything we needed for our stay was at the property. The property was immaculate and a stones throw to the beach...where our little girl loved to collect shells! I would recommend a stay to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay a home from home!The only problem was that they were replacing the car park during our stay which meant we had to park a distance from our apartment. Not that easy with just me and a little two year old! Not the fault of te owners just wish it would not have been during our stay.....This being why 4 stars instead of 5 stars. Needs an update A guest from Ann Arbor, MI does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in October, 2012 The location of the condo is fantastic. Closest unit to the ocean. Spectacular view. Feel like your on the beach even when youre in the unit. Overall the unit was in desparate need of an update. I expect older condos with outdated decor whenever I rent in Florida but this place needs an update for a different reason. Its dirty. Stains in the carpet. Stains on the furniture. Doesnt seem like much upkeep has occured in a while. Definetly recommend to the owners to invest a little money to replace the carpeting and furniture. |
