As a travel writer who rents flats myself when traveling, this flat is my new favorite. Sleeps 6 for Terrace Three alone, 9 if you rent with Terrace Four studio apartment on the floor above.

The views are wrap around and truly stunning. Bosphorus, Sultanahmet, you name it - you'll have no doubt where you are when you wake up in this flat. Gleaming wood floors, antique doors, your own covered private terrace, plus use of the large roof terrace one flight above. There on your terrace you can sit with your large group and marvel at your good fortune to be at birds eye level with this most magical of cities spread out before you. Cooking area, barbeque and outdoor dining area on the roof terrace make this the perfect space for dining with your group or just sitting back with a glass of wine, hearing the call to prayer reverberate from hundreds of mosques across the city.

Combine this view-from-nearly-every-room flat with the studio apartment one floor above to create a 3 + bedroom/ 2 bath penthouse for your group. For up to 6, rent it alone for a roomy 2 + bedroom/1 1/2 bath flat. Living room can be closed off from rest of flat and used as bedroom with new convertible sofa couch.

This is a 5th floor (4th floor euro) apartment without elevator, located just 1 city block from Galata Tower. The building is typically "rustic" in this neighborhood undergoing gentrification. It is entirely safe. The floor where the apartments are located is very nice, and the floors below have "character" so be aware of this please when climbing the stairs past the business occupied flats on the floors below. It is so worth the stairs!

The Galata neighborhood is dynamic and exciting not to mention central to all the sites, without being in the tourist target zone. Just a 5 min walk to the tram and/or the best dining and entertainment area in all of Istanbul.


Rate of $225 is for 1-4 people. Each additional guest is $15 more per night. Add the studio apartment above for a 3rd enclosed bedroom, 1 1/2 baths, and a kitchenette for only $60 more per night. There is a $70 cleaning/prep fee for each flat. Ask about our other flats on same floor.

Check in time is between 8am and 7pm (9pm summer).
