Sitting Room, which is both spacious and comfortable, has a fireplace with log-effect, electric fire. It also has double, fully opening, French windows to provide a cooling breeze into the apartment. There’s a flat screen TV with English and French channels.
Kitchen/breakfast room, with good facilities for cooking, and there is a dining table and chairs for 6. The kitchen features a fridge, cooker, microwave and a variety of utensils.
Bedroom 1 is a double bedroom, with a connected shower room, toilet and washbasin.
Bedroom 2 is a small twin-bedded room, suitable for adults or children.
Bedroom 3 is a spacious twin-bedded room. Adjacent to this bedroom is a shower room with washbasin. There is a separate toilet with washbasin.
On the second floor
Second or summer kitchen with all facilities for cooking, a cooker, dining table , fridge, chairs , and utensils. This is particularly useful in summer when time often revolves round the large terrace. Meals can be prepared close by and eaten outside.
Lounge with sofa bed, armchairs, coffee table and TV (with all non-subscription UK Sky channels).
Bedroom 4 is a double with en-suite shower room and WC.

The prices for this Marseillan French holiday home are weekly and include cleaning and linen. Extra cleaning and a change of linen can be provided during your stay, if it is required, for a small fee. Beach towels can be provided for 8€ per week per person.

Marseillan French Town House - our verdict
Last visited March 2012. If you are searching for a French holiday home for your holidays this summer, then this comfortable house in Marseillan offers the perfect choice being handy for the shops, restaurants and the beach.
The property needs to be vacated before 10.00am to allow for cleaning and access is between 3 and 6pm. Whatever time you arrive there will be someone to meet and greet you.
This French holiday house is just a short walk away from the harbour in Marseillan, where you will find cafes and restaurants. The Languedoc is renowned for its shellfish and you do not have to go very far to sample the freshest mussels and oysters, harvested from nearby in Bouzigues. A glorious sandy beach is located just three kilometres away at Marseillan Plage, but there are many others also close-by
Marseillan is an exceptionally pleasant and attractive small town, one of the few remaining unspoilt harbours in the South of France. It lies close to the sea, but not on it. The house is located in the, quaint, medieval, old-town part of Marseillan. The Languedoc Coast and beaches are only 5 minutes away by car. Historic Beziers, and Sete known as the Venice of Languedoc, are within 25 minutes drive.
All day to day shopping needs are found in Marseillan, through small local shops, or supermarkets. Every Tuesday morning there is a Market in the square, just two minutes from the house, where you can buy local fresh produce, home-ware, clothes, flowers and even be entertained by musicians. On Thursdays, in July and August, there is a craft market from 7pm-midnight down by the harbour. On Saturday and Sunday at the Puces Brocantes (flea market) at Marseillan Plage, a few kilometres away, you can browse for a variety of goods, old and new.
If you choose to eat out there are numerous bars, pizzerias, take-aways and a range of restaurants within walking distance, one has a Michelin star. Many restaurants have regional and seafood specialities.
The Noilly Prat distillery is in Marseillan, by the harbour, which makes for an interesting guided tour, with a free tasting to finish. There are opportunities for fishing, water sports and sailing lessons. There are three golf courses in this area, at Montpellier, Beziers and Cap D'Agde.
You can reach this French holiday gite by taking the A9 to just north of Beziers. Come off at Junction 34 and take the N312 to Agde/Cap d'Agde. Follow the signposts for Agde centre Ville. When you reach the River Herault that flows through the centre of Agde, follow the signposts to Marseillan. You will cross over the River and arrive at a roundabout. Cross straight over the roundabout towards Marseillan. Marseillan is an 8 minute drive from both Agde and Cap d'Agde.

The booking details for this French holiday home are as follows:
25% deposit is required to confirm a booking and the final amount is due 8 weeks before you arrive. The fee is non-refundable after this point. With the final repayment we ask for £150 refundable damage deposit. This is returned after clients have left and the property is checked.
Customers are asked to leave the property as clean and tidy as they find it. Rubbish can be left in the bins on the local streets. Electricity is included in the rental, but excessive use of electricity, leaving the house dirty and any damages will incur deductions from the damage deposit.
