Stayed for 4 days in April, 2013 It was great we have stayed in this cabin for 7 times and each time we love it. The new rental company was very nice. We love the new décor. The sofa cushions lean forward and is uncomfortable to sit to read or watch TV. The roof leaked in the bed room and got the floor very wet and made it slippery, we had to leave a towel down on the floor. But all in all we love this cabin and will rent it again. |

There were several things that didn't work properly..several of the jets in the hot tub outside and the jaccuzzi tub inside did not work. The fan/vent in the bathroom did not work either, but I saw from reveiews from previous visitors that it was already not working so we didn't bother reporting it. The furniture was a bit worn out and not comfortable at all...especially the couch in the living room. We would loved to have enjoyed the nice flat screen tv but there was nowhere comfortable to sit. The cabin was decorated beautifally though and was super clean except it needed a good dusting. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. |

Stayed for 7 days in September, 2012 We have been RCI members for 15 years and would rate this property as one of the worst we have stayed in. No screens on the windows, the furniture was pressboard, not a single comfortable chair to sit in. The sofa was so worn you would up almost sitting on the floor. My wife recently had knee replacement surgery and couldn't get out of the sofa. The bed was very unconfortable, not to soft not to hard. The bathroom fan didn't work so the room was to warm after showering or smell from mold. We left a day early because we wanted to get to our comfortable home. |

Stayed for 3 days in July, 2012 Almost Paradise is a cabin that has a large bath tub inside and a hot tub on the deck. Hot tub privacy is provided by trees. It has a large flat-screen TV with a DVD player, a coffee maker, microwave, pots, pans, dishes, utensils, and a fridge with an ice-maker. There is a sleeper sofa. It even has a front porch swing and rocking chairs on the deck. It's lovely. Plus, the American Mountain Rentals staff are so friendly and helpful! I will definitely stay there again. |

Almost Paraside... more like almost **** A guest from Hilliard, OH does not recommend this property. Stayed for 1 days in July, 2012 The drive through Sevierville and Pigeon Forge is very slow, prepare in advance. Once you get there you'll need an AWD vehicle and watch your driving because you can fall off the one-way dirt road taking you to the cabin. Now for the cabin itself... Nice at first glance but dirty and squeaky. The bed is extremely uncomfortable as are the pillows. No sooner than 2 hours since arrival, a storm cut the power to the area. Stayed overnight, in 90 degrees, with no AC only to find out there was no water pressure, so no shower and no toilet flushing. The office said it will take a couple of days for power to come back and offered no alternate accommodations. I'm afraid I'll have to take the fight with the office manager for a refund to the Better Business Bureau. If you want a comfortable vacation, go stay somewhere else. You were warned... |

It needed a thorough dusting; such areas as cabinets, corners, closets...places that may not get regularly clean. One major oversight was a dirty sanitary napkin under the bathroom cabinet. This was reported without more than an apology. Such a notice should have at least been accompanied with a free meal or discount on cabin. I removed the pad using a plastic bag. Needless to say, the request for a tip in the envelope provided was empty when we left. The staff was pleasant. They just needed to be more attentive to such a "find". This was more than dirt.
