This property is a true OASIS! Loved it!!! A guest from Millwaukee, OR recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in May, 2013 My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay at Casa Oasis! The location was perfect as it was a bit off the beaten path but close to Canyon Road and also walkable to the Plaza. We enjoyed the tanquility of the property and the ponds added a wonderful element to our stay. We started each morning by having breakfast out on the patio. We will definately return to Casa Oasis! |

Santa Fe post New Years Rob C. from Seguin, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in January, 2013 Stayed 4 nights at Casa Oasis. The management company offered us a "deal" on two properties they represented which turned out basically to be a discount on cleaning fees. Casa Oasis itself is a beautiful old adobe with an antique stove and gas furnace. Location is excellent, close to downtown and to Ski Santa Fe. The house was cleaned by the owner and her daughter (we met them as they were leaving) prior to our arrival and was very clean. Unfortunately the gas furnace had issues while we were there which the owners remedied promptly (they also provided a partial refund for our inconvenience). Luckily the wood stove worked great and kept the main house quite comfortable even at single digit outside temperatures. I would suggest that you plan to go out for most of your meals if you stay at Casa Oasis as the antique stove is a neat piece but I couldn't get it to generate enough heat to boil water. Otherwise a beautiful property, responsive owners and a great location. |

Beautiful property but not for the allergy sufferers. Ellie H. from Katy, TX does not recommend this property. Stayed for 6 days in July, 2012 This property was clean, and nicely appointed. The renter should be made aware that this property is originally from the 1850's. This is not a fully-renovated property. This was ok with us, but what was not okay was that my five year old was not able to sleep in his bed because that room caused him severe nasal congestion and some asthma. He could not sleep in our room either, so he slept on the sofa for the last two nights of our stay. We brought our own professional quality air purifier and this still did not rectify the problem. Also, my husband and I suspect that we were bitten by fleas. I had two bites on my upper leg, upon waking, which were definitely not mosquito bites. My husband had more. This property was described to us as "never having had an animal inside it". I believe this may not be true, considering the possible flea bites and severe allergic reaction from my 5 year old. Again, nice owners, beautiful property with beautiful gardens, but fleas and wheezes? Not worth it. When customers request a place that's good for allergy sufferers, take it more seriously, please!
