A few minutes from Eygalières, and between Avignon and Aix-en-Provence,in the famed, sun-soaked land of Provence, this house is set in peaceful surroundings perfect for exploring so many of the famed and charming towns that make the region so sought after. Shop local markets for fresh produce, local cheeses, honey, wine, and more. Hike or bike past lavender-studded fields, gaze at sunflowers, and inhale the perfume of fresh thyme, sarriette, and other local herbs. Visit vineyards and sample the famed local wines. Don't miss unforgettable Les Baux-de-Provence and charming St.Remy, both within half an hour. There is easy access to countless other notable sites, from the magnificent Roman monuments of Arles, and the Roman Pont du Gard, the medieval village of Castillon du Gard, famous antiques centre of L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, and of course, Uzes, Avignon, Nimes, and Aix. Marseille is the closest international airport, while TGV station of Avignon is a 1/2 hour away, with trains to Paris in 2/1/2 hours. It is only 15 km from Salon-de-Provence, with its dramatic Chateau de l’Empiri and the House of Nostradamus.
