After getting in the cabin the first night we wished we would have went grocery shopping for the whole trip so we wouldn't have to leave the cabin. I could not have been more pleased than with the cabin Moonstruck. It is a wonderful place to stay for any length of time. It has all the amenities, including an exceptionally equipped kitchen. However, it is conveniently located within a reasonable distance of Gatlinburg; has an exceptional view of the mountains; is near hiking trails; and has scenic places to walk in the neighborhood. Price is Right? A guest from Batavia, OH does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in December, 2012 The price was enough to make you believe you would be staying at a 5 star resort but the actual experience was anything but. After paying better than $300 per night (which we were perfectly ready to do) and then to have to walk from room to room in the cabin reading silly posted notes hanging on the walls reminding us of silly things that would have been better off listed in the rental agreement (many of which probably were), made us feel like "grade-schoolers". Wonder how many other elementary children can afford a $300 a night room. If you are going to charge like a resort and advertise that you are a luxury accomodation, make people feel like they are staying in a resort or luxury accomodation, not some classroom where they have to be reminded of what to do. By the way, hanging a note about ladybugs doesn't make them go away. That is one thing that was not mentioned in your advertisement or rental agreement, had it been we would have never booked our outing at this "second rate" "flea-bag" motel. |

We especially loved mornings in the hot tub and relaxing on the deck, as well as the thoughtfully-stocked kitchen and the luxurious king bed. The staff was pleasant and called to check on us during our stay; the entire reservation experience was worry-free. This truly was our fabulous home-away-from-home (and stress, work, distractions, etc.) in the Tennessee Smokies. We will be back! |

Everyone was very nice. The property was very clean and you could tell it was new. I did not like the location. It was too close to the highway and the traffic would wake me up earlier than I would have liked every was also not as private as I would have liked. You were right next to 7 other cabins. I also did not like the furnace and the washer/dryer being in the closet in the bedroom. You could hear the heat turning on and off all throughout the night and it would wake us. The cabin was nice but not worth the money we spent. We spent half as much the previous two years and got everything we wanted. We wanted to try more elegant this year and we got amenities but passed on everything else we would have liked. (location, privacy, etc.) I would have also liked a wider variety of pillows. |

The cabin has awesome amenities on main floor a 3D TV with netflix blue ray and pandora radio fire place complete kitchen and pool table beautiful view and a grill. Bedroom down stairs with huge bathroom washer and dryer TV in bed room and in bathroom. awesome shower with two shower heads. huge jetted tub 3 people could fit. Hot tub and sona were great. cabing has toilet paper and linnens. Had a wounderful honeymoon and great time at moonstruck. Will return in the future |

The staff were helpful with directions and called to make sure we found things to be of expectation while we were there and after we left.I'm happy to say that we found everthing to our liking with one exception being the proximity to other cabins. While we were in the hot tub, with it running, we could hear our neighbors discussions. With two cabins so close beside us, and 5 other cabins below in plain sight, the privacy is much to be desired. Maybe in a few years as the trees grow thicker, this problem will improve a little. I would recommend it to a friend for sure, but not if the weather is nice enough to hang around outside on the two decks. JMO |

The appliances all worked good, Pool table was just for looks, to small a room to really play a game. Recliners would have been nice touch, just a normal couch in front of TV. Overall very nice stay. The only real negative thing was in the downstairs bedroom, The air conditioner is in the closet next to the bed. VERY LOUD - Kept us up most of the night. Had to turn it off to get some sleep. Master bath has a beautiful shower with all the fancy attachments but no water pressure to make it work correctly. The view is what made the sale for us. We would come back again as long as I bring hearing protection. |

Stayed for 2 days in March, 2012 The place was very clean, well decorated, and well kept.Overall, the place was amazing.We do have a few comments though:1. We pay a cleaning fee, and the overall price for the cabin is not cheap. Why was there a note left, asking for a tip?2. There was not enough hot water to use in the indoor bathtub. We couldn't even fillup the indoor bathtub with hot water because it just ran out in the middle.3. Not so important, but it would have been nice - to be able to connect a computer/dvd player to the TV in the bathroom.4. After I made the reservation, I got several emails with a lot of information. We loved sitting in the hot tub and on the deck and looking at the mountains. The walk-in shower was awesome as well! The short 15-20 minute drive to Gatlinburg was perfect for us when we wanted to go into town. Wish we could have stayed longer, we will definitely be back next year! |

The location was just outside of the busy downtown of Gatlinburg -- far enough away yet still convenient. Our favorite features were the two porches (both with amazing views), the pool table, the super cozy bed, and the perfectly stocked kitchen (complete with everything you need...dishes, pots/pans, paper towels). We would love to return to this cabin, without a doubt. Worth every dime! |

Far enough away from the commercialized areas to offer a sense of being secluded in nature, yet very conveniently located for our day trips. The cabin was so beautiful and comfortable. We had not so great weather the weekend we were there, and it didn't bother us a bit because of the cabin being so nice. The staff was great, we ran out of gas for the grill late one night. All we did was make a call and they brought us gas for the grill within 30 minutes. I would recommend this cabin to anyone and we will defiantly be coming back in the future. |
