Vacation Condo Rental Description:
Relax and spread out in this beautiful, second floor unit with over 1133 square feet of space. The master bedroom features a new memory foam KING sized bed with all new bedding, cable TV, private bathroom with double sinks, as well as a private entrance to the balcony. The second bedroom also has a new memory foam KING sized bed with all new bediding and cable TV. This condo also has a queen sized Murphy bed, and a sleeper sofa in the living room. There is a full guest bathroom with plenty of extra linens. Relax after an active day and warm up by the gas fireplace and watch a movie on the 40 inch flatscreen TV with the Blu Ray DVD player. On the balcony, you can enjoy the fresh mountain air and mountain views facing Arapahoe Basin. The full kitchen has all of the essentials for you to cook a meal away from home. The dining room table will comfortably seat 8 people, and there are three additional dining room chairs in the condo if you have more people in your group.
This condo features views of the mountains (faces Arapahoe Basin), and you still enjoy privacy with many lovely Aspen trees.
The Springs is the closest building in Keystone to the new high speed, eight-person gondola. Ski lockers are located on the garage level as you walk by from the gondola. You are also approximately a 1-2 minute walk from excellent businesses including restaurants, shopping, bars, winter and summer sports rentals, and great people watching.
The Springs was completed in 2000 and is one of the more exclusive buildings in the resort. There are two high-speed elevators that will take you to your condo from the access controlled, heated parking garage under the building. Laundry facilities are located on 2nd, 3rd, and 5th floor. You will also enjoy the spacious lobby with a large gas fireplace, sitting area, waterfall, game tables, and a pool table. Just off of the lobby, you will also find a play room for the kids, as well as a media room with stadium seating and a large flat screen TV. This building also features a heated pool with slide for the kids, wade pool for the little ones, 2 eight-person hot tubs, a fire pit, and a grill near the pool. The Springs also has its own fitness room, steam room, and sauna on the first floor.

The Management Company, SCMR, however, employs some of the nastiest, unfriendly, unwilling customer service representatives I have ever come across while renting in Summit County. I will never rent a property again that they manage. I was made to feel like I was stealing a first born child on every call, and was equally shamed when I went to pick up the key early, despite a representative calling me at home the night before to tell me it was OK to do so. Great Location & Accomodations - Not as clean as hoped for. A guest from Colville, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2012 Condo provided us with the best possible location to the wedding we were attending. Carpet was so dirty that we had to borrow a blanket to put down for child to play with toys. Food had been left in garbage disposal and smelled TERRIBLE until we figured out where smell was originating & ran it with ALOT of water. Accomodations were good - just could/should have been cleaner. Property Manager Response: Response from Summit County Mountain Retreats We are sorry the carpets were not clean. Our normal cleaning schedule for carpet cleanings is immidiately after the summer ends. We do spot clean areas when the cleaning staff notices areas that need attention. We are here to serve our guests 24/7 and are always happy to assist if anytihing is not up to standards. |

Fantastic Property, Poor Management A guest from Golden, CO recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in March, 2012 The Springs is a fantastic property. The location was great. The pool and hot tubs are great. The condo was in really good condition. Comfy furniture for the most part. I felt the beds were overly hard however but overall the condo was fantastic. I am however a little disappointed in Summit County Mountain Retreats. We were charged at $100 cleaning fee. I do not have an actual issue with the fee itself, however, I feel that if such a fee is assessed that the condo should be clean. The balcony was very dirty and littered with leaves. The furniture was quite dusty in a lot of places and there were things that were left by the previous occupant left in the condo. We were also expected to remove trash upon check-out. It was a little irritating to be charged a cleaning fee for a place that wasn't clean in the first place and I had to take out the trash. I would stay in The Springs again but I would most likely look at another management company to book though. Several of our procedures have been improved over the last season. These include, mandatory inspections of all properies before each guest stay, reassigning balcony cleaning to housekeeping duties (instead of exterior crew) and increasing services including all trash removal. You are right. None of the things your reviewed are acceptable. We provide serveral ways for our guests to contact us when we fall short. Good location at Keystone A guest from College Station, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in January, 2012 This is a great location very close (100 to 150 yards across a parking lot) to the lifts at River Run.I liked the underground heated parking, easy access to the building from the car. I had two big beefs with the condo, and the rest was great. 1. The room wasn't very clean, surfaces not really wiped down, leaves on the bedroom floor from the balcony, and the worst thing, a used condom behind the 2nd bedroom bed. The other thing is that the condo is on the 2nd floor, right next to an elevated balcony that is situated over the building entryway. When people walked across the bridge, the vibrations from the people walking (especially in ski boots) transferred right into the larger bedroom. To add to this, the other "tenants" played pool right below this bedroom till very late into the night, and the cracking of the balls could be heard right through the walls, as that larger bedroom was a shared wall with the building entryway mentioned before. I think there should be a curfew on the pool table or have it moved somewhere else. Some positives, the condo is stocked with several games, 3 TV's, one in each bedroom and a nice high def screen above the fireplace. Kitchen was nicely appointed with everything you need to make a nice breakfast or dinner. The furniture was all very comfortable. In general the place was quiet and warm, and we had lots of room for laying out all our ski clothes, which otherwise would have been a huge challenge in a hotel. Oh, the outside pool and dual hot tubs are exceptionally nice, and the water was heated very warm in the pool and nice and hot in the hot tubs. Even hot enough for our Texas swimming standards. Though we do not doubt the sincerity of your review, it is impossible for us to address your concerns after-the-fact. Our cleaning standards are higher than most, but we are not perfect. It is building and resort policy for quiet hours to start at 10pm These rules are posted in various places, including in your rental agreement, in the lobby, and on the room information in the condo. A quick call to guest services would have resolved both the noise and cleaning issues. Again, we strive to make every guest stay perfect, but when we fail, we will make it right, if given the opportunity. |

Stayed for 1 days in November, 2011 This condo is not above the little shops and restaurants, it's just over a small quaint bridge about 50 yards from the gondola. The location was perfect. The pool area is great- a slide, two hot tubs, a fire pit, etc. The room was nice in a rustic way. Lots of dining room furniture (seating for 8 in a 6 person area it felt like) so the room felt cramped but overall nice. I'd stay again and I'm pretty picky.The management company was okay. Overall, they were very nice on the phone but had that laid back CO vibe (forgot to put the key in the box after promised time so I had to go upstairs to get it from the office, were slow to return my call regarding a late checkout). Overall, I think it's one of the nicer places to stay in Keystone and I would stay here again. Great value for the money. We stayed at a hotel down the street for our first visit to Keystone-- it was more expensive and we had to drive to the slopes! |

The condo was perfect for our needs with two families and two children. It was very clean. The beds, linens, towels, etc were an A+ and plenty of kitchen supplies. Our family had 49 travelers and reserved 7 units. Heated pool w/ slide for the kid plus 2 hot tubs. Family friendly environment. Large foyer for group gatherings. No A/C in the rooms - not really needed, but was a little warm in the month of July. Ceiling fans would be a good addition to the bedrooms. Some of the window screens need some attention & no screens on sliding doors - would be worse if the bugs were out. Would highly recommend this location. |
