Vacation Condo Rental Description:
This condo accomdates 8 people in beds. The guest has brand new queen sized bunk beds (top and bottom), and the living area has brand new queen size Murphy bed. There is also a 46" HDTV over the fireplace, new flat screens in both bedrooms. Internet TV connection with Vudu, Youtube and others.
Relax and spread out with over 1200 square feet of space in this rare, corner unit. This condo comfortably sleeps a family or group of 10 people in beds with a king bed in the master bedroom, new queen BUNK BEDS in the second bedroom, as well as a KING sleeper sofa in the living room. You may also request high quality air mattresses for up to 2 more. Our kitchen has all of the essentials to prepare a warm, home cooked meal. The dining table accomodates 6 people, while the bar in the kitchen will seat an additional 3 people. After a fun-filled day of outdoor activities, your family can unwind and enjoy the game table or watch your favorite television show or movie by the gas fireplace in the living room. From the balcony and bedrooms, you can enjoy views of the Gore Mountain Range. Free high speed wireless internet is included.
A short walk (150 yards) allows for easy access to the new, high-speed, 8 person gondola, You are also steps from restaurants, shops, ski rental facilities, and a small grocery store.
Buffalo Lodge was completed in the late 90?s and is one of the more exclusive buildings in the resort. This means there is less congestion in the building during busy times and all units are a short walk from the elevator. There are two high speed elevators that service only 90 units. Enjoy no hassle parking in the heated parking garage under the building. Laundry facilities are located on both the first and fifth floor. After a day of activities, come back to the exclusive BUFFALO CLUB located on the ground floor of Buffalo Lodge and enjoy the hot tubs, pool tables, or enjoy a good book in one of several sitting areas. Our guests also have exclusive access to the heated swimming pool and sauna at the adjoining Dakota Lodge.
For an additional fee we offer XBOX 360's, Playstation 3's, Nintendo Wii's and the iPad 2. Rent one of these amazing devices and let your kids have a blast while you relax. We deliver and setup the devices for you. iPad 2's are connected to all the Wi-Fi signals in the resort. So take it where you want and have FUN! Bring your own games or rent them from us.

The only problem we had was when we were at the outdoor pool and there were no towels. Guest services said someone was bringing them but we waited for at least 30 minutes and they never showed up. Stayed for 2 days in July, 2011 Very noisy location with bus stop right outside of windows dropping off people late who then chat and direct sun making it very warm in the summer. I'm sure in the winter months that is not an issue with windows closed. Maybe an extra fan for use. Very nice roomy unit. TV's and DVD players in all rooms was great for the kids to watch movies. |

We had a family of 5, 2 15-year-old boys, parents and a 5 year-old and it was more than enough space for us. The location in the village is great and it is a short walk to the Gondola. The location is great, as you can just walk to the lifts without dealing with parking or anything. However, if you come and plan on cooking, make sure you bring a cheese grater with you if you need one as there isn't one in the kitchen. Everything else was wonderful and very usable though. Highly recommend! |

Stayed for 4 days in December, 2010 Condo is located directly above game room in the lodge. We could not sleep in the master because men were playing pool late into the night. Also, kitchen counter was dirty on our arrival. Bathrooms need updating, especially toilets and grout. Not my favorite stay at the River Run condos.Beds and TV's were nice, as was the family room furniture. Property Manager Response: Response from Summit County Mountain Retreats Ann,We are very sorry your stay was not as enjoyable as it could have been. There is 24 hour guest services and quiet hours start at 10 p.m. We would have been happy to deal with the noise issue if we had known. A dirty counter top is unacceptable and we apologize. We will certainly pass on your comments to the owner regarding the updating. As you may have noticed there were many upgrades in this condo including 3 flat screen TVs, New beds, New furniture and decorations. The owner wishes to make his condo stand out. UPDATE The cleaning crew has been spoken to. The building management was made aware that there were people using the Buffalo Room after hours. The owner has replaced both shower heads and 2 new King Beds are being installed next week. |

Stayed for 2 days in November, 2010 The only reason I didn't give 5 stars for the property cleanliness was because there was some trash left behind in the kitchen garbage can without being in a trash bag. It appeared to be left behind from whoever installed the new queen bunk beds as there were instructions for the bed in the trash. We did take care of getting the trash into a bag and disposing of it but that was kind of yucky to discover and handle.I would highly recommend this place due to the condition of the property and great location. The underground parking was excellent. My kids enjoyed the pool tables in the common space area of the building. It was very close to restaurants and the slopes for the River Run area.
