This condo is an oversized corner unit located on the fourth floor of Silver Mill. The spacious kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to cook a meal away from home. You can sit 4 people at the dining room table. There are 2 additional seats at the kitchen bar, which is a great work area or an additional place to sit and eat. The bedroom features a new king sized bed with cable TV, and the bathroom can be accessed from the master bedroom or from the hallway. The beautiful living room features a sleeper sofa, chair, as well as a gas fireplace and brand new 40 inch flatscreen TV with DVD player. You will also find extra pillows and blankets, sheets for the sleeper sofa, humidifiers, a fan, and safe to secure your important documents and items. Free wireless internet aceess is included.
This condo looks away from River Run Village with mountain views in the distance, so you will have quiet enjoyment when you stay here. If you desier a quiet getaway, this is the condo you want to stay in.
Silver Mill is conveniently located in the heart of River Run Village. It is just steps from restaurants, ski rental shops, specialty shops, and Starbucks.
If you are traveling with young children, the Keystone Children's Center is located on the ground floor of Silver Mill. In 2008, a new high-speed, 8 person gondola was constructed to move passengers up the mountain 40% faster. Silver Mill is now even closer than before. Walk 100 yards out of the building, and you will be there.
After a long, active day, you can enjoy the many amenities that Silver Mill has to offer. The beautiful recreation room has a pool table, sitting area, and TV. Soak your tired muscles in the large 16 person hot tub, or one of the two 8 person hot tubs. Then enjoy the sauna located inside the building near the hot tubs. Silver Mill guests can also enjoy the heated pool with spectacular views of the ski slopes at a neighboring building. You can park your car in the heated parking garage under the building and store your skis and/or snowboards in the ski lockers on the first floor. If you don't wish to carry your skis and/or snowboards back to the building, you can use the VIP ski check that is available near the gondola for a small daily fee.
Silver Mill received a remodel in 2010 which includes all new common areas, new flooring, a new workout facility, and more.

good value/nice location...for 2 adults & one kid it is comfy. James H. from Snellville, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in March, 2013 Nice property as advertised, full size ski locker, easy underground parking, nice rec room/pool table, 3 hot-tubs and sauna(but the shared pool is too far away to really enjoy), reliable elevators, close to the slopes(but this unit has a view of the parking lot(not too scenic) and can be a lil noisy if they are plowing snow), well furnished, nice newer large flat screen(although it would be nice to have some sort of channel info for the tv)and the DVD did not work...very comfy King bed....but after renting many times from VRBO this one was less stocked than normal...there was just a lil bit of salt, no pepper, just enough paper towels & TP .....usually the basics are there and many times they even provide spices and sugar, you must bring anything you might need.....easy check in/out.....but the cleaning crew must have been in a hurry, because there were a few things they missed.....but this was a very good value for the location and overall experience.... The location was absolutely ideal for skiing and the hot tubs were a huge plus. The condo was clean and we loved that the kitchen was fully equipped with cooking utensils and wine glasses. My only complaints are that the fireplace didn't work and there were no sheets for the pull out couch. So we just slept with a blanket under us. Stayed for 6 days in February, 2011 I think the cleaning fee of $69.00 is too high. This is a TINY little place to clean. Also, since we did pay a fee for cleaning, I think it is a bit much to ask the guests to take their trash to the dumpsters when they leave.Overall, a very nice condo and the location can't be beat. Was disappointed that we wanted to check out 1 hour later - at noon- and they wanted to charge us a $25 fee. Other than that everything was great. We have one of the latest checkout times of any company in the area. Many companies have a 10 a.m. checkout. We offer late checkouts of 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. if there is not a guest checking in on the same day. We also allow early check-ins as early as 9 am. To our knowledge no other company offers this kind of flexibility. In order to provide this service we have to reorganize our cleaning schedule which may require cleaners lose time and charge extra. |

Stayed for 1 days in January, 2011 This is an absolutely beautiful building loved the room, bed very comfortable and kitchen good sized with lots of utensils. But, plan ahead, they usually mail the keys. I had booked within the week and arrived unable to check in, didn't know where to go and missed a half day skiing figuring out where the heck to get keys. A real disservice and management very hard to get ahold of. Then my card keys wouldnt work to get back in, we got locked out in our wet swimsuits by the hottubs in the snow. On the upside, close to bars, down side no breakfast places close by. Love love walking straight to the gondola though. Would definitely go back, just would plan ahead better. However, the problem with your keycard was caused by it being demagnatized by your cell phone or a magnet. All we can do when this happens is to bring you out new cards. Even though this was not our fault. We immidiately came to your aid and brought you new key cards. |
