Vacation Condo Rental Description:
With over 600 square feet of space this oversized corner unit is one of the largest one bedroom condos in Jackpine Lodge. The master bedroom features a high quailty king sized bed, installed in 2010, with luxurious bedding. There is a 46 inch flat screen TV in the living room and a 40 inch flat screen in the bedroom. After a long day of skiing or biking you can enjoy the gas fireplace while watching a movie in the living room. The full kitchen has all of the essentials you will need to cook a meal away from home. The dining room table will comfortably seat 4 people with 2 additional seats at the kitchen bar. In the closets you will find plenty of extra blankets, sheets for the sleeper sofa, pillows, humidifiers, fans, iron, and, ironing board.
You will enjoy views of the quaint village and mountains in the distance from the bedroom, living room, and balcony.
Step out to restaurants, shopping, and ski rentals. On the first floor of Jackpine Lodge you will find Kickapoo Tavern, Christy Sports, and other retail shops. Jackpine Lodge is the closest building to the gondola in River Run Village (approximately 25 yards to the gondola).
Jackpine Lodge was completed in the late 90?s and is one of the more exclusive buildings in the resort. This means there is less congestion in the building during busy times and all units are a short walk from the elevator. There is an access controlled, underground heated garage. Laundry facilities are located on the fourth floor. You will also find an 8 person hot tub at Jackpine Lodge. Guests have access to the year-round heated pool at Dakota Lodge, as well as two additional hot tubs. There is a beautiful lobby that was just remodeled in 2010 that has ample seating on cozy couches and living room style chairs for groups.
NEW FOR 2011: For an additional fee we now offer XBOX 360's, Playstation 3's, Nintendo Wii's and the NEW iPad 2. Rent one of these amazing devices and let your kids have a blast while you relax. Though it was "mud season" it was still beautiful. All the shops in the village were closed during our stay, but I can see where this would be an awesome place to stay during ski season! Everything is walking distance from the condo. The condo itself was fantastic! Kitchen was fully stocked, the sofa was very comfy and it was very clean and well kept. I would highly recomend this property! I will stay there again.The rental company was helpful and easy to work with as well. I was nervous about the lockbox not working when we went to pick up our keys, but it was so simple. Great directions as well. |

Beautiful apartment, no view Sharmila M. from Boulder, CO does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in April, 2013 I had a very nice stay at Jackpine Lodge; the apartment was certainly spacious enough and the furnishings were attractive and comfortable. I was a bit unhappy that there was no view at all from the condo; it was on the second floor and looked out onto streets and buildings. Also, the property was less than clean when I arrived; the sink was dirty, both bathtub and sink drains were closed and water was collected there, there were bobby pins and other small litter here and there on the carpet throughout the condo. I also felt I had not enough direction on where exactly to find the keys and no information on how and where to catch the Summit Stage shuttle to A-basin. I'll be better informed now, and will enjoy my next visit more as a result; however, I will rent a different condo as this one was not very clean and had no view. |

We stayed in this unit 2 weeks in January 2012 and 2 1/2 weeks in January 2013 and will try to stay there again in 2014.Our only issue is with the fireplace. The pilot tends to blow out. We have had to have maintenance come out 5 times in our combined stays. Sure would like to see that problem resolved! The only problem I had was with check in. We weren't able to locate the rental office or contact anyone to be able to get keys. We called multiple times and weren't able to get anyone to answer until a few hours later. You came to the area without any of the paper work we sent you. You attempted to check-in with one of our competitors and had a conforntation with thier office staff. After spending quite a long time in the office of the wrong company, you then realized YOUR mistatke and contacted as at 9 p.m. (3 hours after closing). We immidiately met you at our office to walk you through everything that was in the documentation you did not bring. I am not sure how any of this justifies a rating of 2 for our service. |

Enjoyed the doors to the balcony for fresh air. Thanks for the fans have stayed in other properties and would have given anything for a fan! Only part that wasn't up to our expectations were the restaurants - wouldn't recommend to anyone - very disappointing! Starbucks and Inxpot were the only ones that met are worthy to visit. Stayed for 8 days in March, 2011 We had trouble entering the room our first night and called for help and a gentleman arrived within 5 minutes to let us in and rekey the room. He was very friendly and professional. We loved having a locker for our skis, and the underground parking is clean and warm. The building is steps away from the gondola, so it was very easy to walk there. The shopping is fun and the food was great. The mountains are gorgeous and the weather was perfect. The skiing is great with many runs for various abilities. Keystone makes it fun for all ages; the kid's have a snow fort at the top of the mountain with tubing!! Very Nice, Very Close to Gondolas, but beware the thin walls! A guest from St Louis, MO recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in February, 2011 The interior of the condo was even nicer than expected. Very nice furnishings, the kitchen stocked with everything you need if you want to cook in the condo, and the location could not have been any better - you literally walk out the back door and around the corner to the gondolas. My only complaints are that when we arrived, we had to wait for the maintenance person to let us into the condo because our key cards didn't work. He came back with new key cards, but by then we had missed an hour of the night skiing. He said the reason our cards didn't work was because the management company had made new key cards and sent them to someone else (the guests who are scheduled to rent the condo after us, I presume) after they sent our key cards to us. We also had to have the maintenance man light the pilot light so we could use the gas fireplace, and the remote control for the living room t.v. didn't work (I found fresh batteries in the condo and replaced them and that solved the problem). But the biggest complaint I have about the condo is that the walls are so incredibly thin that we could hear the person snoring in the condo next door. My husband and I heard the person opening drawers in his bathroom and similar noises, which is understandable, but then we both woke up in the middle of the night and clearly heard him snoring. The River Run Village was not very busy, so we didn't have to deal with lots of crowds of people hanging out at the bars and restaurants right across from our condo. However, they do have rock music playing on the loudspeakers along the street right outside the condo windows, which you can definitely hear. Luckily, they turned off the music around 10 p.m. or so. |

You can't ask for a better location - just a short distance to have to lug your skis to the gondola! The condo was spacious for a one bedroom and had everything we needed. The only negative was there was a funky smell in the hallway and a little in our condo - but other than that a perfect place to stay! The blankets in the condo were in terrible condition, torn and smelling bad. Also linen closet smelled very bad.
