Tiffany H. from Bonney Lake, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2015 Great location and beautiful scenery. We were in Langley for a wedding and the beach house was about 10 minutes from the wedding and town. My only complaint was that there was an iron and no ironing board which made it a little more difficult to get ready for the wedding, but that was such a minor thing. We would definitely rent here again.
Property Manager Response: Response from Tara Property Management South Our apologies go out to this guest for not having an iron. Our office does supply an iron and ironing board to loan out in case a guest needs one at any of our rentals which don't have them. We are also working on putting one in this home permanently.
Lana K. from McMinnville, OR recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2015 LOvely home and updates have been made. We loved it We wil return next year but we need a new coffee pot. The current one does not work well at all. Thanks
Property Manager Response: Response from Tara Property Management South Thank you for your review! We will check into the coffee pot and replace. Thanks again!
Janet F. from Vancouver, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2015 Great place to walk the sandy beach, collecting sand dollars, smooth glass pieces or making sand castles in low tide.
shirley w. from Glendale, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in July, 2015 While our vacation rental was rustic it had a lot of space for two families. The backyard view of the lake/ocean was a beautiful setting for sunrises and sunsets. There was a significant odor in the wash/dryer room in which we kept the door closed most of the time. The property management team was very responsive to our phone calls and called us right back. The location was good and overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Maxwelton Beach House.
Property Manager Response: Response from Tara Property Management South Property Mangement has looked into the odor and fixed the problem. Our deepest apologies go out to this guest for any inconvenience this may have caused! Thank you for your feedback!
Katie F. from Seattle, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2014 My friends and I had a lovely stay at the Maxwelton Beach House. Very clean and charming home with an inviting outdoor space. Highly recommended!
Kevin B. from Seattle, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2014 We had a great time on Maxwelton beach. Easy, warm waters, lots of sand and wildlife (seals, herons, loons, osprey, eagles) to watch. Great lagoon for kids to play and swim. Only complaint is no dishwasher, but we managed.
A guest from Seattle, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 14 days in July, 2014 The house has a wonderful yard, deck and is right on the best part of the beach. The views of the Olympics are stunning. It is extremely kid-friendly with toys, games, beach forts and plenty of space. The house has everything you could need, but it is older and lacks a dishwasher. The windows and doors downstairs do not have screens so it's hard to cool off in the afternoon when the sun is blazing without the company of dozens of flies. With some screens and a dishwasher, it would be perfect. We would definitely come back regardless.
Debra K. from Mission Viejo, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2014 We absolutely enjoyed our stay here in this lovely home! Everything we needed was provided for our 4 day stay. The kitchen was adequately furnished with utensils, dishes, pots and pans etc. but the location was the most wonderful for our daily relaxing time in the adirondack chairs by the ocean just enjoying the 180 degree views and watching the ships go by and the tide come and go. The master bedroom is perfectly situated for a beautiful panoramic view of the sunsets and stars at night. We had a wonderful time here. The only draw back was the afternoon sun in the living room with no window to open or shades to keep the afternoon sun from overheating the space. We missed having a large tv for movie watching in the evening but found the sky to be more entertaining. We would come back to this place again when available any time of year.
Janet F. from Marysville, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2013 Your home was a great place for my sister & I to take our grand children for a few days at the beach. The kids embellished the "fort" that was already on the beach, flew kites, checked out the jellyfish that came in with the tide. We would like to stay here again next year!
Lana K. from McMinnville, OR recommends this property. Stayed for 9 days in August, 2013 We had a very restful and peaceful stay at this cabin. Perfect location for "beaching" and relaxing. Highly recommend this cabin!
A guest from Seattle, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2013 The property location is one of the absolute best on the beach with amazing Westerly sunset and south west views of the Sound. It is right behind a large sandbar where Blue Heron, eagle, and other birds continually fished. The cleaner before we checked in was late (after prior guests checked out three hours late) and didn't check the BBQ so we ran out of fuel half way through the first meal. Management was very quick to respond with a fresh tank.
A guest from Burnsville, MN recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in June, 2013 We were very pleased with the property and it's location. The bed in the downstairs bedroom could be improved upon. The tv didn't work but it's probably the location and not of concern to us. We loved watching the ships and the sunset!! We are very happy with our stay.
Linda F. from Courtenay, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2012 Great stay but a new coffee pot is needed and and let renters know that a dish washer is not available.Dish cloths were not there but overall it was a wonderful week in a comfortable home. Thank you.
Property Manager Response: Response from Tara Properties Inc. There are many dish cloths at this home. We have made sure they are out where renters will be sure to find them now. Our apologies go out to this guest for the inconvenience!
Marianne S. from Seattle, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2011 It was my treat to take my brother & wife from Medford, OR to the house for his birthday. The house was very nice & clean. I was a little apprehensive about that because I knew of the roof leaking, etc. But all was fixedand we so enjoyed sitting on the upper deck (my brother got the master suite) and watched beautiful sunsets. The other evening we spent out by the waters' edge eating crab cocktails. I was also happy to see no ants. We all had a wonderful time and would definitely stay there again. Parking was a little limited. Thank you.
Comfortable home for a family because there is something for everyone.
A guest from Seattle, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in September, 2010 Beautiful stretch of beach with magical view of mountains; sailing ships of every description; abundant birds and sea life. Ample wood to build a campfire on the beach and take the chill off inside on a cloudy morn. Equipped with telescope, balls, bats badminton, croquet, jigsaw puzzles, board games, Legos which provided entertainment for all ages. An "awesome" propane grill on the deck and a small but adequate kitchen. Toaster needs to be replaced. No diswasher and no dish detergent, we left ours behind, and no bar soap. No matches to light a fire, we left ours. Needs light bulbs. Water tasted strong so we bought jugs for drinking and making coffee, tea. Two bedrooms are cramped and one is spacious. Baths are nice except for some ants, which we knew about beforehand. We had a great time and would love to return.
Property Manager Response: Response from Tara Properties Inc. The ants have been removed with routine pest inspections now.
Lynn A. from Casmas, WA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2010 A ripped screen allowed misquitos in. Ant problem was everywhere--a real pain with the food. Location was amazing!
William F. from Taipei, Taiwain recommends this property. Stayed for 10 days in July, 2010 The property is a great location. I can't be beat if yo want to on the water. The property itself is OK, but a bit run down in parts. The big problem is the ants; they are every where. I was also very disappointed to arrive to find the bbq filthy. It was very very dirty. The place did not seem prepared to accept renters. I think this is relatively easy to fix, and should be.
